Avram in Nieuwmarkt/Lastage

There was nothing special about this restaurant except for the lack of customers. The food was so-so, and the waiter was doing and unfriendly It was obvious be wished he was anywhere else but here taking your order.

Very bad service, worst server in Europe the prices outside are not the same as on the menu and the food was really bad for the price Stay away from that place!!!

I’m sure the food of this place would’ve been fine, but the service was absolutely horrible and the food was overpriced. They charge extra for sauce. And they also ran out of the Sandwich I wanted. He told us to leave and that McDonald’s is to the left, just rude for no reason.

It was nice at first glance, but then they told me there were only 4 dishes left. Too bad if you just ordered a drink. Never again for us.

It was just okay, both food & service. I won’t go back though. I stopped by because I wanted to try Argentinian meat, but that was just that. Both quality and quantity were poor compared to the price.

I wish I had reviewed the comments before, the service and attitude of the staff was terrible. Totally racist, they did not provide us with the Wifi key and just some English people who came to the table on one side did; Plus the waiter (apparently the owner) is super rude. If there was a lower rating I would put it.

1) I suspect that this "restaurant" and their owners have nothing to do with Argentina. This seems to be a fake Argentinian restaurant. Argentinian consulate general should be attentive to opportunistic moves of some unscrupulous adventurers that use the name of Argentina in order to make profit at the expenses of the image of the country. 2) We were received in a totally unfriendly manner in this opportunistic "restaurant". The waiter that interacted with us has no notion of what it means to receive guests in a café or restaurant. When one of us asked him to substitute a dirty fork, for our surprise the waiter gave us a new fork with no explanation in an abrupt way (after all, he was doing us a favor by serving us lunch...). The owner and the waiter should be sent to a tourism school in order to learn better forms of interaction with their fellow humans visiting Amsterdam. The Dutch authorities should be more zealous in the concession of permission for new restaurants. I prefer 1000 times an I característica hamburger restaurant. 3) After sitting down and asking for drinks we identified a strong smell of Marijuana!! Incredible!! A drug-smelling "restaurant" ! This small of drugs came in waves during the whole length of our meal. 4) The schnitzels that were served to us were completely industrial not worthing a tenth of what we paid for them. 5) This "restaurant" does not deserve the place it occupies in the beautiful town of Amsterdam. 6) in the end: tip = 0 € and for sure we will not return.

Went with my boyfriend as we had seen it in passing previously - it was really great food! We both ordered steaks and both were cooked as asked and tasted really good. Didn’t take long for food to arrive and was just as described on the menu. Prices were reasonable - especially for the quality of steak. Staff were really friendly and lovely, gave us a few minutes to look for drinks then more time deciding on food. They do have a card reader there. I’m not sure what all the other negative reviews are about - I’m guessing they’ve had a rebranding since as the sign outside simply says “Argentijns Grill Steakhouse” rather than “Avram”. Whatever they did it worked!

Eten is goed maar niet bijzonder. Hele vriendelijke bediening. Prima adres om redelijk snel wat te kunnen eten.

Вкусное и доступное пиво, вкусные чипсы под сыром с курицей. Обслуживание приятное, относительно быстро и приятное позитивное обслуживание. Сосиски мексиканские так себе, в целом хорошо. В следующий раз зашли б еще, как бы перекусить по пути. Спасибо за вечер!)

It was great, people were very nice! However next to it was a coffeeshop, I didnt really enjoy the smell

Mijn vriendin kwam hier en dr lunchkaart bevatte niks wat zij wilde hebben. Eigenaar vroeg waarom ze weg wilde gaan en zij gaf aan dat ze salade wilde en dat stond niet op de kaart. Hij drong vrij onbeleefd aan dat hij dan wel een salade zou maken. Uiteindelijk was het beter geweest om weg te gaan want de ceasar salad bevatte aangebrande kip. Geen aanrader.

The food was great, we both had steaks and the portions were plentiful and the side salads refreshing. The prices were acceptable, given the usual rates in Amsterdam. The service was a little abrupt but friendly overall and the only thing I thought was a bit lacking was the atmosphere. The place is in dire need of a paint job. Other then that, great place for a quick bite to eat.

Очень приятный ценник. Отличное обслуживание. И очень вкусно. Советую.

Gebruik makend van het mooie weer streken we aan het eind van de middag met 8 man neer op het terras van de Argentijn aan het Waterlooplein. Werden meteen vlot bediend door de eigenaar en we lieten ons het koude 0.0 Heineken biertje goed smaken. Daarna als voorgerecht heerlijke rijk gevulde vissoep gevolgd door een steak van 200 gram. Die had "rare" moeten zijn maar was dat niet. Toch uitstekend stuk vlees en ook de door partner bestelde salade zag er goed uit. Geen haute-cuisine, wel lekker gegeten.

Had a delicious steak here, perfectly cooked, I'm not much of a steak eater and I can be picky but I really enjoyed my meal, worth a try.

La comida bien en relación calidad-precio, pero el camarero muy poco amable. Te dan la cuenta casi sin terminar de comer.

Еда как еда, ничего особенного и выдающегося. Обслуживание ужасает! Официант (или хозяин?) нагловат, напорист, беспричинно суетлив, навязчив.

Soyons clair, c est un piège à touriste. Nourriture passable et personnel incompétent. Le prix plutot abordable n excuse en rien les lacunes de l établissement.

Delicious lamb chops, very friendly waiter. I have no clue why it's so low by stars. The meat here is an unforgettable experience. The waiter is so chatty and prepared for us a special mix grill.

Średnia ocen dość marna, ale my byliśmy zadowoleni. Sprawna obsługa 2 panów, a jedzenie bardzo dobre. Stek przygotowany idealnie, sałatkę mogliby dopracować.

Een informeel restaurant met heerlijke garnalen in knoflook. Zeer geschikt voor een snelle hap voor men naar de opera of het theater gaat. Bediening is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij.

Respect the fact this is not Dutch organization but Argentenian. The food and service reflects the culture. Big plus if you are of spanish descent. Menu seems locaded with lots of selection for the carnist. Not so much the vegeteriano. The beer was nice and cold. Nachos were cheesy. Views good. Huge patio.

Je voulais un espresso après repas à 21h40 ils m'ont dit la machine à café est fermé! Je voulais alors payer en carte et ims m'ont demandé du cash car la machine était aussi fermé 😅😅
