Azië Chinees-Indisch Restaurant in Wijk 10 Binnenstad

We had Chinese noodles with chicken and shrimp number 38, but I didn't need that. In Arnhem, I did have chicken. I had to look for a few pieces of chicken, and that for €15.70. As a starter, we had Pangsit Goring, which had 6 batches of dough with a little meat inside. We had to look for the meat for €7.00, it was just fried dough. I came from Onderdijk Hoorn, which is not around the corner, 15 km, vice versa, 30 km.

I ordered Chinese food for the first time in ages. It used to be delicious and good, but this was such a disappointment! Absolutely terrible. Babi pangang was limp and greasy with a flavorless and colorless sauce. Ditto for the foe yong hai, and the koe lu kai, which should have been crispy and juicy, was a tough, soft ball. The satay was flavorless and the mini spring rolls were soggy. The noodles and nasi goreng were lifeless, tasteless, and bland. We and our guests ate some, but more than half ended up in the trash. It's outrageous that they dared to serve this. We paid €130, but I would have rather paid more if they hadn't skimped on a real chef and better ingredients. Never again.

Today I picked up the combined menu for the first time. I'm sorry to say that this is the worst Chinese-Indonesian takeaway we've ever had. I'm Asian and love Asian food, but I find this restaurant unworthy. Fortunately, there are plenty of people who think it's good, so I'll definitely keep coming back. We had to throw our food away and I definitely won't recommend it to anyone.

I ordered a rijsttafel (rice table) for four people when I was at home, and I had a feeling it wouldn't be complete. Most of the meat was very dry, and the sauce was so thin it tasted like lemonade. The food wasn't very warm; it felt more like everything had been heated up in an oven or microwave. It was the first time I ordered from here, and it was the last.

On October 10th, we had an excellent meal and the service was good and attentive. We were very attentive to our food allergies. The atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful, and thankfully, there was no (background) music. We had a wonderful time!

Service is far below par. I was treated rudely by the owner. I was supposed to get a refund for the food, but when I went there, I didn't get a refund.

Worst Chinese restaurant in decades! We sat outside. No drinks menu! When we asked what kind of drinks he had, he listed them in incomprehensible gibberish... laughable! The food we ordered arrived after about 3 minutes... something inedible... both dishes were completely unseasoned... indefinable "food," disgusting! Beware: tourist rip-off!

We recently dined here and booked in advance through the website. The reservation was confirmed quickly. Upon arrival, we received a friendly welcome. As is often the case with this type of restaurant, we found the menu a bit difficult to understand—though that's probably our own fault. The food was delicious and more than enough; we enjoyed everything served. The bill was as expected: reasonably priced.

I feel quite ripped off at this restaurant; the food was minimal and the price was high. The wait for the food was also long, probably intentional, to try and sell you lots of drinks. You won't be seeing us again for dinner!

I'm not really a fan of "Dutch" Chinese restaurants but this one is exceptionally good!!!

In this friendly etablishment we took here a Chinees-Indisch rice table. It was an unfortunate choice. I could not enjoy this traditional "dutch" indonesian dish. In a friendly talk with the kind staff this is what their guests like since a long time. Perhaps I was in an other state of mind.

Food is good and kept warm for long time using small candle pad with holes. Babi Pan Gang (Pork belly with very thick orange sauce) recommended. It will come with pork and fat but no skin.

A beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious and good service

Starters were disappointing to say the least. First course, one mini spring roll with two blades of lettuce, only to have to wait almost an hour for a tasteless soup with one piece of mushroom and a few bamboo shoots. The main course, on the other hand, was very tasty and beyond expectations. Delicious variety of all kinds of dishes. It was by no means authentic, but despite that it was delicious. The staff was very stressed and quite unfriendly, but still slow. Towards closing time it was very clear that we were supposed to leave. All in all, meh.

After a long day, last Sunday we thought we would have a quick meal at Azie's. Ordered a Sichuan meal for two. The soup came quickly. Then had to wait more than 45 minutes for the main course. The reason given was that it was busy with takeaways. I recommend bringing bread on Sundays. The main meal itself had nothing to do with Sichuan cuisine. Was edible but it was a long lasting “western 13 in a dozen bite”.

If you're busy, I understand...but SAY SO! give something to bridge the long waiting time...stupid...stupid...stupid....! Mediocre dishes, unfortunately. The chicken noodles we ordered was a tasteless mess, little to no ingredients. The Peking duck seemed fresh but also lacked some flavor. Such a shame, because Asia used to be our favorite restaurant.

Ordered a portion of gadogado, picked it up, which consisted of 1/3 cup of taighe, half an egg and a few pieces of prawn crackers, which I only saw at home, of course. Value less than a euro, paid more than 10 euros for it. Really scandalous!

I picked up a meal. The gado gado was very watery, had little taste. The nasi was also soggy. We felt like we were getting microwaved frozen leftovers from yesterday. Very unfortunate

We make a stop here by bike. Asked the employees to charge the battery. Of course no problem. Had something to eat and drink on the terrace. €120, quite a lot of money for the three of them. When we left, all the plugs turned out to be disconnected from the power again. Nice then! And you're just laughed at.

Ordered here because I had Sun La Thong before which I really liked. But the soup is really inedible, tastes like nothing, just sweaty feet and you really can't swallow an extra bite. Foe Yong Hai chicken, Foo Nam and the fried rice all have no taste. Weak bite. The noodles themselves had a reasonable taste, but were too oily. This was straight up throwing money into the trash.

I usually don't post a review if I have been dissatisfied with something, but I would like to make an exception for this restaurant. Years ago, when I still lived in Hoorn, Asia was a household name. So a dear friend took me and a friend to Asia on my recommendation. It was early evening and not really busy. Still, we had to wait over an hour for our order. Pretty simple, 3x babi pangang and 1x a vegetarian dish. The noodles were not good, the pangang was too sweet. Really disappointing. My Asia dream finally shattered! Shame

Used to be my favorite restaurant, but not anymore. Boiled rice should pass for nasi goring, meat dishes lack any taste. Never again. Shame

We usually get Chinese from Asia. Unfortunately we were disappointed today. We are also used to the chicken satay, bad chicken and sauce. The nasi is becoming increasingly barren. You can count the leek and also the taste mah..peking duck was also very disappointing and is therefore very expensive for what it is. Soup had no taste. Babi pangang and foei Yong yai were the best.

One of the best Chinese takeaways I have had. It is very difficult to get authentic Chinese food but the sweet and sour chicken was perfect and the beef vegetables was great! Keep the cook :) Looking forward to trying other things on the menu! Thank-you!!!

my family and i visited around mid april and our experience was impeccable. the owner was very attentive and spoke great english which made the process very smooth. aside from that, he noticed that we were arab and made sure that we were not served anything with traces of pork, which we found very considerate. in terms of the food, everything was really yummy and served hot, we especially loved the stir fried beef and the szechuan chicken. additionally, the ambience was really nice and peaceful, suitable for both families and couples. would recommend!

Wrong food delivered so you think it can happen hopefully this will be resolved NOT SO. After calling you will first be hung up after reporting this and kindly asked to just deal with it. No other food, no compensation and return is not possible. The food is still closed and untouched. We ordered weekly and enjoyed eating there at Christmas, but the service and state of affairs leave much to be desired over time. NEVER again for us.

We eat at Asia more than regularly. So far the food has always been delicious and the quality has always been consistent! Tonight was really disappointing, the shark fin soup I ordered was watery and tasteless, after asking twice for sambal I gave up. My wife had a beef tenderloin salad and it was great, my beef tenderloin with black bean sauce was way below par, bland and tasteless. No coordination between courses, my dish was served and my wife's dish was served much later! Empty glasses were taken away without asking whether there was anything left to drink. When I told the owner at checkout, he barely responded. In short, very disappointing.

We only know this place from take away and the food is quite good so we thought like our favorite Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam Noord let’s give it a try. It start with the scam of getting you drinks before the menu. They don’t have a drink menu i was told. Then more than one hour waiting we get simple stuff like we ordered soup and some dumplings. One hour and 30 min later after arriving we get our main meal. Small portions and blubbery duck skin. The The pangang was great but half of the takeaway and more expensive. Not worth the wait at all. Last time out dining there.

A good and cozy Chinese specialty restaurant, a small downside is that the portions are not too large. If you are a big eater, order something extra. Quality of the food is excellent

It is always delicious food at Asia. The service is excellent, very friendly staff and very helpful. The food itself is exactly what it should be and is without a doubt delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is oozing, with a beautiful interior and a beautiful facade. You have the feeling that you are leaving Hoorn behind you and can fully enjoy the Chinese-Indian cuisine.

The food was ok, but not great. After ordering we had to wait an hour and a half before the meal (two rice tables for two people) came through while it was not particularly busy. The Szechuan rice table was very (too) mild, the Indonesian rice table was also quite tame. But what bothered me most: it was far too little! I actually don't think I have to walk into a döner shop for coffee with extra Baklava for 50 euros per person.

NB! You don't get any vegetables with your food, so for €10 more you have to order them separately! For me it's not about the €10, but basically being hospitable and breezy! Never again, way too expensive for the price!

We ordered Foo nam and a tenderloin dish (number 66) as takeaway. We were helped very kindly by a very attentive young man. Getting the food was a bit more expensive than expected, but hey, reheated Foo nam is also not possible. The food was truly sublime. The Foo nam was cracking fresh and tasty. The tenderloin was very tasty and tender. If I would personally change anything about this dish, it would be to bake the vegetables a little longer. I was pleased to see that they also have American nasi and noodles. If I'm looking for a quick bite again, I'll definitely get that.

First the good, the food was tasty and the staff friendly and helpful. Now the bad part, sitting at the table at 6:00 PM and then only getting food at 8:30 PM is really not possible. Babi pangang en buikspek was niet zo lekker als Lin Wah en bovendien krijg je veel minder dan bij Lin Wah voor hetzelfde geld.

We hadden nog een oude tegoedbon. Met 4 personen uit eten geweest. Een uitgebreide rijsttafel. Allemaal heerlijke gerechten. Met vooraf en nagerecht. Drankjes erbij . Toch redelijk aan de prijs. Wel netjes geholpen en vriendelijk personeel.

We hebben hier gister gegeten . We waren er 18.30 en hadden pas 20.15 ons eten . Dan zou je verwachten dat je wat te drinken of iets anders van de zaak zou krijgen als contact compensatie. Maar dat werd niet aangeboden . Heel jammer we komen hier niet meer terug .

Best lekker eten, maar de prijzen! Belachelijk duur en de porties zijn niet groot. Het is dat we op zaterdagavon, voor we naar het theater gingen, nergens anders terecht komen (alles zat vol). We hadden hier al eens eerder afhaal gehaald, viel ons toen al op dat de porties veel kleiner waren, maar de prijzen hetzelfde als bij onze reguliere Chinees in Bovenkarspel. Vooral de menu's zijn duur en je mag dus niet 1 menu delen met z'n tweetjes. Dus gewoon 1 nasi besteld met zijgerecht. De hoeveelheid nasi was niet genoeg voor 2, normaliter houden wij nog over! Smaak was echter goed hoor, maar als je met een lege maag heengaat, kan je beter zorgen dat je portemonee vol is. En voor de sfeer hoeft je ook niet te gaan, volle bak, lopende band werk. Wel snelle en aardige service, maar de ambiance is ver te zoeken. Elboog aan elboog met de buren.

Heb gehaald maar vond er niks aan

Vreselijk duur aangezien wat je op het bord krijgt. Uitgedroogde bakje mihoen met kleine garnalen en kip ( echt ver te zoeken in het gerecht , echt belachelijk) voor 20 euro?! Sorry , maar voor mijn geen tweede keer en eigenlijk moest ik mijn bord terug naar de keuken sturen ! Ik voelde me ontzettend belazerd met dat wat ik kreeg . Personeel was heel erg wel vriendelijk.

Vanuit nostalgische redenen weer eens terug gekomen bij Azië in Hoorn. Bediening was best vriendelijk en eten smaakte aardig. Maar de kwaliteit was niet meer zo goed als ik mij herinner van een (flink) aantal jaren terug.

We zijn hier nu voor 2e keer wezen eten omdat we in een hotel zaten in hoorn. Maar het eten was weer heerlijk! Echt genoten. Ga zo door!

Snelle en vriendelijke bediening. Fantastisch eten voor een normale prijs. Een echte aanrader. Pal tegenover het ns station en legio parkeer plaatsen. Geweldig !

Chinees eten dat veel beter is dan bij de gemiddelde Chinees. Het Sechuan-menu dat wij aten was erg smaakvol; heerlijk soepje met eend en daarna vijf perfecte vleesgerechten, waarbij de krokante eend er uit sprong. Alerte bediening in een zaak die snel vol liep.

Es wurde ein vorzügliches Mahl gezaubert, das unsere Vorlieben und Ernährungseinschränkungen/ Allergien berücksichtigt. Die Bedienung ist höchst kompetent. In dieser Lokalität gehe ich gerne wieder hin. Mit Blick auf den aktuell hohen Kosten für Lebensmittel, erachte ich das Preis Leistungsverhältnis als angemessen. Hier komme ich gerne wieder hin.

Zo moet Chinees eten in Nederland zijn!

Fantastisch smakelijke gerechten en alles zeer goed verzorgd. Professionele medewerkers en een prachtige ambiance. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Complimenten voor dit restaurant.
