For us, it's actually a "cult pub," only much better. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and incredibly delicious food. Definitely worth a visit.

We stopped there for a quick bite to eat and a drink. We had a hot cocoa, which was okay. Then a latte macchiato, which was quite good, and a Coke. We ordered bitterballen for dinner. They were very tasty. The prices were reasonable. It would have been nice if we'd received a napkin with our meal. There was no cutlery, which was fine for this dish. But a napkin would have been helpful. The restaurant's interior has definitely seen better days, but it was still nice. The waiters were of varying levels of friendliness (more and less so).

Gezellig makes work of their pub

Great atmosphere. It seems like a place with many regulars. The staff were fun and festive. We got a board with cheese and sausages, as well as nachos. Everything tasted great. Definitely worth a visit. Good value for money!

A lovely restaurant right on the harbor. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the dessert (a stroopwafel with ice cream) was a bit pricey and small for the price.

It remains a super cozy cafe. I have been coming here since I was born. The cafe changed owners a few years ago. But they have kept the authentic atmosphere and taken the menu to a higher level. You can sit here beautifully on the terrace and in the winter it is lovely inside. The service is always friendly and I always feel at home.

Our favorite place to enjoy yourself in Hoorn. Have a nice drink and/or eat, anything is possible. We always come with the camper just for that purpose.

Visited this place on a bike trip very costly place in a nice old VOC trading town of hoorn. Had some nachos so nothing fancy. They were good!

Schöner Ort für ein Bierchen (oder Weinchen) im Hafen. Moderate Preis, schneller und aufmerksamer Service. Und die Hapjes zum Bier oder Wein sind auch lecker. Würde hier als Hafenlieger immer wieder herkommen....

A very atmospheric place, my friend and I often come here to chat about life. It’s very cozy to see that a cat lives here - it makes it even more atmospheric for us. The cat is very nice, please do not give him to the shelter, we come to you also because of his presence.

Beautiful kind of Amsterdam pub with ditto conviviality. Delicious food at a good price. There are just so many more pubs like this one. So cherish...

After the cinema, have something to drink and eat. Friendly, fast, real cafe "feel". In short, great!

We stopped in for an Amstel after a day of touring town. The staff spoke English and were able to get us two draft Amstel beers right away. There are tables outside, but we sat inside at a table. Lots of lively conversation at the bar and orders going in and out. We enjoyed just watching and sitting in Hoorn.

Erg lekker gegeten met gezellige en vriendelijke bediening. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is goed. En, ook belangerijk, gezellige muziek uit de jaren tachtig. Lekker herkenbaar en geeft goede herinneringen

A bit brown café-like... but good food and nice service

Visited in a large family group with children and had to wait a long time for starters and mains. Food was way too salty and mostly unpalatable. I hate salt and fish was flabby and so salty to all of our tastes. We won’t be recommending or returning/ which is a shame as the young staff were entertaining to our young children, but food would not allow us to return!!

Nice cafe and a nice bar like ship

We came there in Saturday June, 22-nd around 4:30 pm and got the table. Nobody paid any attention to us and we were sitting about 5-6 minutes without a menu. After that I went to look for the waiter and ask for the menu. She promised to bring it to us. We waited another 5-6 minutes and another waiter came finally to our table and asked what we want to order. We complained that we even didn’t have a menu. His answer was extremely rude: “ You can leave if you don’t like it. We are busy.” We stood up and left. On our way out I saw the first waiter and told her that she had never brought the menu. She only shrugged. But two gentlemen at the table said us “Bye-bye!” and laughed. Absolutely disgusting!!!

Beetje sober hotel , de kamer viel niet tegen en de bedden lagen goed . In de trapopgang hing een putlucht en het ontbijt was hotel onwaardig , erg weinig keus.

Beschrijving eten klopt niet met de kaart. Personeel komt onbekwaam over en discussieert onderling. Weinig eten voor redelijk geld.

Het eten wat wij bestelden kwam niet overeen zoals het in de menukaart vermeld stond. Volgens de menu werden alle broodjes rijkelijk belegd en geserveerd met een mix van diverse soorten sla,komkommer, tomaat,paprika en dressing. Wij bestelden “Cajun kip met chilimayo”. Wij kregen een broodje met kip en een paar blaadjes veldsla en een zeer pikante chilisaus. Wij melde dit aan het personeel, dat meer niets deed dan wel, ze zeiden dat de menukaart verkeerd was. Ondanks wij uit België kwamen en Nederlands spraken, stonden zij ons te woord in het Engels. Wij zijn niet tevreden, en vinden dit restaurant zeker geen aanrader.

Leider liegt das Restaurant direkt an einer Straße. Wenn man draußen sitzt ist das doch störend gewesen… Service war okay. Das Essen war den Preis definitiv nicht wert. Wir hatten zwei Sandwiches. Laut Karte belegt Brötchen mit Salat, Tomaten, Gurke dazu hatten wir uns ausgesucht einmal 2 Kroketten mit Senf und einmal 1 fleischpflanzerl mit Senf und Soße. Wir bekamen ungetoastet Toast zwei Scheiben jeder drauf fleischpflanzerl/ Kroketten. Absolut trocken. Senf fehlte leider kam auf Nachfrage. Dazu gab es statt Salat einen kleinen Klecks Kartoffelsalat aus der Dose. Auf Nachfragen war die Antwort, Gemüse ist alle und deswegen gibt es das jetzt so. Sehr schade !

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen hier. Allein wegen des Ambientes muss .a hier einkehren. Sehr urig und gemütlich. Der Service ist sehr gut und umsichtig. Das Steak war auf den Punkt, die Pommes ebenfalls sehr lecker. Preislich für die Lage absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Was goed aankomend W end water week en gratis haring eten bij het schippershuis Heerlijk om in de haven te zitten van Hoorn.

Was geen snack of eten meer te krijgen. We werden over het hoofd gezien en 1 van onze groep wie eerder wegging werd achternagezeten om te betalen. Wij zaten rustig op het terras dus knettergek.

Great location in Hoorn outlooking the tower and harbor. Very friendly staff. We had small bite and drink. Apple pie was delicious, other than that nothing special just regular nice drinks and bites. The location and staff are the winners here.

Gezellig goede consumpties goede bediening gewoon goed

Wat een bofferds waren wij; prachtig weer, gezellig terras en heerlijke lunch. Bediening was super en zeer vriendelijk. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Lekker authentiek zonder poespas.

Heerlijk zitten, gezellig, lekker drankje, helemaal top.

Gewoon hartstikke gezellig, volle glazen en een prima hap. En niet vergeten gezellig mensen.
