I visited this Indonesian restaurant and it truly feels like a warung in Indonesia but in a modern style. The food is authentic, freshly prepared and full of flavor. The staff is very friendly and welcoming which makes the experience even better. The service is quick so you get your food without waiting too long. Prices are fair and the value is excellent. The location creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. A place I would definitely recommend.

Delicious food and top service! Babby’s Kitchen in Utrecht is highly recommended! The food was incredibly delicious; fresh, well seasoned and prepared with care. You can taste that there is love in the kitchen. The service was also absolutely top: friendly, helpful and professional. What struck me most was how quickly everything was delivered. The hot food was on the table in no time. Perfect if you fancy something tasty but don’t have the time or desire to cook. I will definitely order here more often!

Not recommended, not edible so dirty. Rames lacked all the characteristic Indonesian spices. The tofu was tough and worse, tasted mainly of a burnt, long not cleaned wok, the black caked on pieces we found back in the nasi that was mushy and also permeated with the burnt taste. The sweet chicken was also a disappointment; tough and dried out on one side and tender and tasteless on the bottom. Green beans overcooked and not seasoned; only the tempeh was edible, the rest unfortunately in the trash instead of the stomach.

A disappointing introduction to Babby’s Kitchen – delivery Utrecht We ordered from Babby’s Kitchen in Utrecht in high spirits, expecting a tasty Indonesian meal to be delivered to our home. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be quite different. When the order arrived, the fried bami was missing – not insurmountable, that can happen. What followed, however, was mainly frustration. When we contacted them by phone, they suggested giving a discount on a “next order” three times. That may sound customer-friendly, but it does imply that there must be confidence in a repeat order. And honestly: who says there will be a next time, if the first time is so disappointing? Only after repeated insistence was it decided to deliver the missing bami. That took about half an hour, which in itself would be acceptable if the quality was up to par. Unfortunately: the container of bami turned out to have been heated up in the microwave, limp and tasteless. And worse – it had little to do with bami. It was basically boiled spaghetti with a generous dash of ketjap. We weren’t much more positive about the rest of the order. Everything seemed to have come straight from the microwave. The satay sauce had visibly dried up, as if the container had been ready for hours. The ‘fried rice’ was just boiled rice with some flavouring, without any texture or stir-fry feel. The dishes lacked any freshness or care, let alone the flavours and aromas you would expect from an Indonesian kitchen. The whole thing felt like convenience food that is heated up in plastic containers, not like a lovingly prepared meal. No attention, no authenticity – just warm mash, straight from the microwave. All in all, this experience was disappointing from start to finish. The service felt awkward and the food was far below par. That “next order” they talked about on the phone? That will definitely not happen.

Roti tempeh ordered via Uber Eats: arrived super hot and fast at my home! It was very tasty and more than enough, too bad to read the other reviews here because this roti was really great. Only 1 star deducted because I ordered spekkoek with it and that was unfortunately forgotten.

Delicious food! We picked up nasi rames with rendang, chicken & roti and a tempeh/tofu wrap. It was ready super fast and when they saw that we wanted to eat it there, they even arranged a table. The flavors were good, and portions more than enough.

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd. It was the most disgusting order we have ever received. There was not only no taste, but the taste was disgusting to the point we had to spit the food out. Sate sauce didn’t even look like sate. Meat was all bland and dry. Even adding salt to everything barely saved the situation. Spekkoek tasted dry and not fresh, as if it wasn’t even properly stored. Roti were just a pile of dough stuck to each other in one big pile, not even possible to detach them from each other. We paid almost 50 euros for an order that doesn’t deserve any money at all. Don’t know what other people’s experience is but we will never ever order here again.

I ordered the rijsttafel. The food was OK, but the beef rendang was the worst I've ever had. It was small pieces, where normally you have some good big chunks that are super juicy and tender, but I had to chew on these small beef bits for 30 seconds. Really bad quality.

The order was delivered on time, and everything we ordered was there. And most importantly (at least to us), We had a side order of eggs that we left on the counter while we ate, it was so hot that after 45 minutes, when we opened it, it was still steaming. We will be ordering here again. The zero stars for the atmosphere is only because we haven't been there yet.

Delicious food, especially the chicken satay!

Waited two hours for the food. Satay was okay but the “fried rice” pfffff fried in bullshit. No taste at all, like having paper in your mouth. Cucumbers with peppers in vinegar were also okay and you have to take this with a bite of that fried bullshit rice to create some flavor. Teringggg what a disappointment Babby Badaki. By the way, what is special is that the reviews on Thuisbezorgd are good. If I had looked at the reviews on Google I would never have ordered here!!!

Delicious food and fast delivery!

The food on our family day, October 6, was delicious, especially because of the different taste sensations. There was plenty of choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The service was excellent, everything was prepared with care, went smoothly and the "bins" looked neat. I also experienced the contact in advance as pleasant. So everyone knows it’s getting harder and harder to find good quality food for a reasonable price these days. More often than not you get incredibly disappointed with what is out there. Not the case with Babbys Kitchen. We have been ordering for a while and the consistency in terms of quality is really 5 stars! Incredible taste with very good size portions for an incredible price. Also the delivery time is always under 15/20 minutes. Keep the amazing work guys!!! 10/10

Picked up vegetarian nasi rames. Rice was very mushy and tasted very bland. Beans were also barely seasoned. Only the tempeh was okay. Not recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of picking up food from here and I was extremely impressed. There was a huge queue but I was helped very quickly. Each dish was prepared with care and love and the flavors were authentically exquisite.

Rendang was tough and definitely doesn't taste like real Indonesian rendang. Beans are also tasteless. Rice especially very salty. You can taste that it is not a store or restaurant but a takeaway center, they just throw a lot of salt on unseasoned food. Also unsanitary. Strings of noodles and pieces of chicken in the nasi rames. With my gluten allergy this can be very dangerous. I will never order from here again.

I ordered via Thuisbezorgd. Two issues: 1. The order took more than TWO hours to arrive! It took 4 calls until the food arrived. First call (this is 1h 15m after placing the order): delivery guy is on the way. Second call (~15 mins later): again delivery guy is on the way. Third call: food should arrive no later than 15 minutes. Fourth call (15 mins later): driver is unreachable but is 4 minutes away. Mind you this is 2 minutes before they close and I had to make sure they are contactable even after closing time. Called a 5th time but bell rang right on the second ring so I cancelled the call. I paid 3 extra euros for the delivery that was supposed to arrive around 1 hour after the order was placed. It might seem like it’s “only” 3 euros, if I’m paying for a service, I expect to receive the service! Throughout all the calls, the only solution to the issue was to wait until the driver comes, which was offered to us in each of the four calls we made. An “I’m sorry, that shouldn’t happen” does not fix the issue. Luckily, the food did arrive despite the incredibly long waiting time. 2. Food was okay. The taste was not the most authentic, but considering this was in the Netherlands and restaurants tend to have to adjust to a different palate, it was good. I ordered a nasi rames for myself with tahu and hete kip. Unfortunately, the order arrived with tempe instead of tahu. Not great, but not the worst. I wouldn’t be ordering from here again unless I’m in the store myself and no other Indonesian restaurant is open.

The food was delicious and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Every dish was a real treat for the taste buds! The delivery took about 30 minutes.

Ordered food today at destination and it took 3 hours for it to be delivered. Called three times to ask where it was and they always said it would be there within fifteen minutes.

Waited an hour and a half for food where they poured the table salt over it. Furthermore, they also forgot to add the pancakes to the roti (quite essential you would think). In addition, they also incorrectly implemented the preferences in the dish. It might also be an idea to answer the phone and say your name (or the name of the restaurant) instead of “Hello?”. But that may be my personal preference for interactions. The reason for ordering was that they had an attractive deal. You would think that restaurants would do this to attract new customers, so that they would then order again based on a positive experience. This was not such an experience. Last time we ordered from there.

The food here is delicious, fresh, tasty and generous portions. On top of that the staff are incredible. I lost my credit card after paying and I went back hoping they might have found it. They went to so much trouble looking with me and we found it. Thank you so much for your kindness (and amazing food!)

Great food! Large portion. Delivery took a little longer than expected, but certainly not too long. Decent prices. Roti plate could be better.

Ordered bami rames here, container was relatively small and contained little bami. Lots of meat and tempeh. Taste was also mediocre, very little spicy and westernized. But that same night I suffered from food poisoning with vomiting and diarrhea. This while this was the only thing I did during the day.... So once but never again.

De beste nasi die ik ooit heb gegeten de ingrediënten waren vers en lekker en mijn maten vonden de bami en roti ook erg lekker

Heerlijk eten, valt goed op de maag en heel goed gekruid! Dit Indonesische restaurant is gewoon geweldig! Het eten is super lekker, vooral de nasi met hete kip. Alles smaakt zo authentiek, alsof je echt in Indonesië bent. De sfeer is gezellig en het personeel is vriendelijk. Een aanrader als je van goed Indonesisch eten houdt! En zeker als je tegen wat pittigs kan!

Heerlijk eten met aardige medewerkers, niks op aan te merken. Mijn complimenten voor deze geweldige zaak!

Het eten smaakte heerlijk je proeft de Indonesische invloeden erin terug. Het hele gezin heeft lekker mogen genieten van een uitgebreide rijsttafel voor 4 personen. De bezorging was er razendsnel op een regenachtige zondag. De vriendelijke bezorger gaf aan de deur aan dat Babby’s Kitchen is genomineerd voor beste restaurant van de stad utrecht en vroeg of wij konden stemmen en dat is naar mij mening ook zeker terecht. Jullie hebben zeker een nieuwe vaste klant bij & tot de volgende keer! Trima kasi voor jullie 3 keer 5 sterren!

Heerlijk vers eten elke keer weer. Al jaren heerlijke smaken met verse groente en heerlijk vlees en vergetarisch. Goed gekeurd door de hele familie tijdens verjaardagen. Een echte aanrader voor iedereen.

Prima eten, maar duurt altijd zo ontiegelijk lang. Zit nu al anderhalf uur te wachten op mn eten en sterf echt van de honger. Wees tenminste bereikbaar
