We come here regularly. Partly for convenience, partly because we like to support the local hospitality industry. The restaurant is rarely full and they deserve better. But then the quality has to be in line with the price. During our last visit the prices had increased again. €27.50 for a main course. That is not necessarily a lot, if the portions were not so meager. Especially the vegetable portions. As regular guests we asked for a bowl of prawn crackers to satisfy our worst hunger. A mini portion of tasteless prawn crackers was charged at €3.75. This restaurant is not a complete disaster, but with such prices we expect better. NB: The service is friendly, but the most impractical ever. Be prepared to wait a long time for something as simple as a glass of water.

Top food! I always pick up and it's very tasty, fresh and the owner is very friendly! Fixed tent! Good price!

Last Sunday we thought we would have a nice bite to eat here. We went for the vegetarian rice table for 2 people, which cost €26 on the menu. Once inside it turned out to cost €35 pp, a bit of a shame but okay. Start with a soto soup and some fried snacks. It looked like the soto soup contained pieces of chicken. After asking, the owner indicated that it was probably the herbs(?). Then, after more than an hour of waiting, the main course arrived. Mini bit of white rice, even less fried rice and a mini bit of dry noodles. Served with mini portions of various moderately flavored vegetables / tofu / tempeh dishes. After eating everything, we both went home hungry. All in all, really not recommended. Too little mediocre tasting food for way too much money (€70 total).

This has become a lot less compared to six months ago. All three people ate below par. Bland food, lukewarm food and small portions. Moreover, it smelled of chlorine

To be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect because the main courses are a bit pricey . But when we got the food, we figured out it’s pricier than normal because it comes with side dishes. The food tasted great, overall it was a joyful experience. Definitely recommend Rames

inaCorner is an Indonesian restaurant that focuses on more traditional Indonesian cuisine, where in the Netherlands you will mainly find Indian cuisine that has been adapted to Dutch tastes (less spicy, sweeter). After having just spent 3 months in Indonesia this year, I noticed that the taste seems to have mainly Sumatran (Padang) influences. The different types of satay and rendang are fine, the sauces/marinades are a bit high in ketumbar. The noodles were tasty, but the vegetable dishes were a bit unbalanced and flat. The dessert, 'dadar gulung' (pancake with coconut filling and palm sugar syrup) was very dry and the scoop of ice cream unnecessary. The restaurant could be a bit more atmospheric; the light was very bright, it would be nice to use some more Indonesian art or decoration) and during our visit there was an intense sewage smell coming from the toilets. Nothing was said about this by the staff. Toilets were moderately cleaned. Staff was friendly, but didn't come by very often, so we went too long without drinks. If they had come by more often we would definitely have had more drinks! Price-quality ratio was otherwise okay, but not excellent. It was just okay. Nice to have been once, but not much chance of repeating.

The food was very bland and the atmosphere was boring! You have to look for the peanut sauce for the satay and the pisang goreng was not sweet at all! The prices were also very high. I was also the only Indo in an Indian restaurant

Bami goreng was echt niet aan te raden. Leek spaghetti, flauw, garnalen niet gezien en vlees een paar hele kleine stukjes. Kroepoek uit zak? Niet lekker!

Ze hebben een nieuwe kok en moest je in het verleden eindeloos ( anderhalf uur ) op je eten wachten, nu komt het snel en de gerechten zijn nog lekkerder dan 2 jaar geleden. Op afstand het beste Indische restaurant in Utrecht.

Had a wonderful time dining in with extended family at InaCorner Utrecht. All the food that we ordered came in large portions and tasted nearly as authentic as we would have them in Indonesia. As well, Mr. Samosir the owner was a fabulous host for us. Highly recommended for those who crave Indonesian food while in Utrecht.

We had dinner in the restaurant and it was really delicious. The portion could have been a little larger, as there were several of us. Friendly and fast service!

Ik ben hierheen gekomen op basis van de menukaart. Er staan veel vegetarische en veganistische gerechten op. Als ik Tripadvisor gelezen had was ik zeker niet teleurgesteld geweest in het eten en de sfeer. Het is exact wat andere mensen hier geplaatst hebben Eindelijk een zonnige dag dus buiten gezeten. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Ik ben blij verrast door de mooie smaken. Mijn vriend en zoon aten de vegetarische rames. Ik heb de Tahu bumbu Bali gegeten (citroengras, limoenblad). De borden zijn mooi opgemaakt. Je wordt blij als je hier zit en eet. InaCorner hoort bij de beste Indonesische restaurants waar ik geweest ben. Ik raad de Tahu Bumbu Bali van harte aan

Having spent a lot of time in Indonesia I am too often disappointed eating Indonesian food. Ina corner is a gem of an eatery with delicious genuine flavors. Highly recommend. Try the Nasi Rames for a selection of tastes.

Wat een heerlijke gerechten! De Gulai (geit) is fantastisch. De kip sambal blado goed pittig. Lekkere saté mix en de garnalen fritters zijn een aanrader! Fijne sfeer en Kim is een heel prettige gastheer.

We ordered the Rames and Ayam Ricah, which were both absolutely delicious! The ayam ricah was a little spicy, but nothing too bad and the rames was just amazing. We WILL come back here!! Only tiny downside is that the portions weren't as big as we thought they'd be, for the price you pay. Nothing bad- We still had enough for the two of us, but a little more rice would've been nice. Can't wait to come back again!

The order was large and good. Although I don't order the spring rolls anymore: too small and fried, not tasty enough. Everything else is fine.

I had an excellent dining experience at InaCorner. The food was fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. The staff were all very friendly and provided detailed explanations of the dishes. As an Indonesian myself, I can confidently say that the food here closely resembles the original flavors from Indonesia. Highly recommended!

Among Indonesian restaurants in Utrecht areas, inaCorner offers a very nice and affordable menu. We heard the foods were authentic and we thought they were quite so. We ordered two separate plates (Bami and rijst) and an appetizer. We did not take the rijst tafel which was told to be a specialty because it looked quite big and a bit pricey for two. The two main dishes were very tasty and filling. The appetizer was slightly underwhelming and I would personally not recommend it.

Regelmatig dineer ik bij Indonesisch specialiteiten restaurant 'InaCorner' of haal ik er eten af. Authentieke Indonesische keuken met goede kwaliteit/prijs verhouding én heel vriendelijke bediening! Echt een aanrader, veel meer mensen zouden dit fijne en eenvoudige restaurant in Utrecht oost moeten leren kennen!

As Indonesian , ina corner is definetly a gem , the food super authentic , nothing from microwave they definetly made it fresh and the portion are huge as well . Worth to visit!

Ik heb gisteren heerlijk gegeten bij 'InaCorner' Ik ben zelf van Indische afkomst en kan (volgens anderen) goed orgineel Indonesisch koken. Daardoor ben ik helaas wel kritisch. Gisteren authentiek gegeten en dat was echt even genieten. De bediening is erg vriendelijk, de sfeer gemoedelijk en de prijzen zijn goed betaalbaar. Dikke pluim waard en absoluut een aanrader!

Gisteren heerlijk gegeten. Ben zelf van Indische afkomst en kan (volgens anderen) erg goed orgineel Indonesisch koken. Daardoor ben ik helaas erg kritisch. Ik heb bij 'InaCorner' goed en vooral authentiek gegeten. Het is goed betaalbaar en de bediening is zeer vriendelijk en de sfeer gemoedelijk! Absoluut een pluim waard en een aanrader!

Voor de doorgewinterde smulpapen is InaCorner het ware paradijs! Na een supergastvrije ontvangst bekeken wij de kaart waarbij mijn keuze onmiddellijk op de bamigoreng speciaal viel. Daar heb ik geen spijt van gehad! Wat een uitgelezen smaak zat hieraan. Hiermee staat InaCorner voor mij meteen op nummer 1 van de Indonesische restaurants in de provincie Utrecht. De vijf sterren hebben deze mensen echt dubbel en dwars verdiend. Eten waar je gewoon gelukkig van wordt!

Just moved to the Netherlands recently, but have been in love with rijsttafel. Been to a couple places in Amsterdam, but inaCorner is the best I have had no question. I will be back whenever I get a chance!

So happy we had dinner here again tonight. Authentic Sumatra cuisine. Our starters were great especially the Soto Ayam & Soto sayur. As main dishes we had the ikan(fish) curry, babi goreng, daging blado, bami goreng special and chapcay. It was great again. The fish curry for 1pers was 1 ½ fish filet and the babi goreng and daging blado were both two plates full of nice pork and beef. The prices are very decent €€ especially for the amount quality and taste. The owner is serving the guests himself and even helps in the kitchen if needed. Even the Indonesian Jasmine tea tasted good and I normally don't like jasmine tea. Kitchen staff are native Sumatra Indonesia chefs. So like I said authentic taste from Sumatra. Even the music inside is traditional Indonesia music. It was like being on holiday. Friendly helpful staff. Every plate they served was empty! I just forgot about the name of the indonesian dessert. But look at the picture doesn't it look great! Thank you again kind sir and see you next time.

Met wat Indonesische roots kan ik alleen maar zeggen: de rendang was in ieder geval heerlijk!

The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Yet, it seemed like the food was not prepared on the spot rather heated in the microwave (served semi cold). Also, prices were on the high side.
