The staff are on their phones, even while checking out. Because of this, she forgot that I still had to pay at all, so I had to remind her. A shame.

Small, cramped café; the food seems to depend on the chef's mood—sometimes very good, sometimes mediocre, and on top of that, outrageously expensive. €8.75 for a carpaccio bagel and a Fanta Cassis together. The cashiers are often friendly.

They can at least hire people who speak Dutch.. I asked what was in the sandwich and it took 10 minutes before I could get a normal answer.. they can't even speak English? Is it so difficult to hire people who at least master the language?

They advertise all kinds of things outside but then have nothing in stock. I asked for 4 different sandwiches and they didn't have any of them left.

A very small back shop with a limited selection. It's well-designed, offering plenty of seating without being crammed together. It's kept very clean. The coffee is pricey, but you get a good amount for your money. The same goes for the sandwiches, but that's to be expected.

A very poor branch of this chain. They can't even change 10 euros. And then they just round it up to their advantage. Will you let me know when they get the cash register back in order? Maybe I'll get a sandwich here again then.

The coffee is lukewarm. The chicken sandwich doesn't taste like chicken! The atmosphere is just like the coffee. I won't be coming here again.

We wanted to get a drink here, but the cashier wouldn't let our five-year-old daughter use the restroom. So we left.

The restaurant isn't cleaned throughout the day. After 3:00 PM, nothing fresh is made. The staff only speak English and barely understand Dutch. We didn't have any change and were forced to pay by card.

Food covered in flies. At 3 p.m. on Sunday, you can't get anything fresh anymore; the kitchen is closed, even though they're still open for two hours. So you're practically forced to eat the sandwiches with flies.

I think the cream cheese and lettuce were gone because this bagel for €4.80 is really too sad for words.

We had to pay twice for our food, and after complaining, we didn't get our money back. The cashier told us the payment had failed. However, the payment machine indicated the payment had been successful. The lady kept insisting, so we had to pay twice. A few days later, the money was debited from our account twice. Stopping by isn't an option: we're from Belgium. I sent an email to info@back-werk.nl two weeks ago, but no response.

Bought a boule egg salad with pancetta. It was messy and topped with very little care, and only had a single speck of pancetta! On their Facebook page, it looks beautifully topped, just the way it should be! Too bad, Backwerk, that's not how it should be.

Got a hot dog chili at backWERK. According to the description of the product, it should contain fried onions, but I couldn't find them. There was at least one stray red onion ring. It would also have jalapeño slices on it. I think the person who made my sandwich mixed up the jar of pickles with the jar of jalapeños. Because there was no jalapeño on it, but there were three slices of pickle. Furthermore, the sandwich was actually inedible. Not even for a quick bite and that should cost €3.60. I would have thought it was a good price for a good sandwich, but although I normally get excited about this, this time a sandwich like this did not make me happy. I missed taste.

Fine in itself. The coffee is very good. The sandwiches etc are very expensive, but that is the case with all catering establishments.

I got a Too Good to Go Bag today and the bread was super delicious, the quantity was more than enough and the quality is just great

Exactly in the middle of the beautiful center of Arnhem. Not in the mood for McDonalds or something? Then you're in luck because you now have a Backwerk branch here. You can buy deliciously fresh and healthy sandwiches here. Vegan or something with meat, no problem. Please note, the sandwiches often have a starting price of approximately 4 euros each. Inside seating for more than 6-10 people.

Had never seen this before. But what a good concept. Everything is well and clearly displayed and what needs to be fresh is packaged so that it stays fresh. What you want to eat hot can be quickly warmed up for you. Very tastefully decorated and friendly and helpful staff. Indeed, not much seating, but I also got the impression that a lot of people are taking away here as well. Highly recommended for breakfast (the rest too, by the way). The price is good for what you get. Nice to stop by and have breakfast

Goed gelegen filiaal, lekker aanbod. Minder zitruimte dan het andere filiaal bij velperplein, maar gezien de locatie is to go ook logischer
