BackWerk in Rotterdam Centrum

This is the fourth time I've eaten here, and I'm still incredibly satisfied with the quality. I always order a healthy sandwich without ham, and it's always super fresh, often even with bread that's fresh from the oven. You can really taste it – wonderfully fresh and flavorful. A little tip: I think the sandwich could use a bit more egg, and the coffee (both cappuccino and latte) could be a bit stronger. There's quite a bit of milk in the coffee ratio. I'm also very satisfied with the service and the consistent quality. Definitely recommended!

A place with very good food and many options, the soups are EXCELLENT, especially for this weather of the year.

The product selection is sparser than at BackWerk in Germany, and the prices are incredibly expensive. But the sales staff are clean and friendly. If you want to feel a bit more at home, I'd be happy to visit, but for the prices, we'd recommend having breakfast or coffee at a different location.

Apple pie, strawberry custard croissant and butterfly cake are all delicious!

Prima koffie en lekkere dingen voor een nette prijs, heerlijke appelflappen en saucijzenbroodjes. Ook goed belegde broodjes.

Bakery where you can have a decent breakfast.

We ordered a healthy stick sandwich without ham and without tomato. They had spread 1 egg over our baguettes. I had 2 pieces and my friend had the other 3. Cheese was 1 slice and very thin and also looked a bit discolored and only 2 cucumbers. I think this is really poor for a baguette for which you pay €6.75. Tasted just fine.

Onvriendelijk personeel. Had koffiedeal (warme drank naar keuze en kaneelbroodje) en een losse koffie. Bij de deal een cappuccino maar ze rekende andersom. Toen ik vroeg of dat anders kon was men zeer onvriendelijk. Cappuccino ook niet met verse melk

The food was cold and behaviour of chief was not welcoming.

Great bakery. Just in time to eat a small meal, we were just having breakfast, we ate fresh and delicious baguettes, something sweet and coffee.

Really the best place in the area. Simple, fast (you can get it yourself) and just neat.

The healthy choice if you want to eat something in between. The sandwiches are of good quality and the ingredients are fresh. The tuna salad on the sandwich was not too dry and had just the right taste. The carrot cake was also very tasty. The tables were clean and the staff friendly.

The guy was a bit unfriendly but perhaps it was just early. Decent food and decent prices though.

A large spacious branch in Rotterdam centre with large assortment of bread, sandwiches, smoothies, fresh fruit, coffee etc. Expect best and fresh quality from this brand at very reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff as always

Fun, good and affordable. Simply tasty and fresh sandwiches, nice coffee and friendly (attentive) staff. That was extra noticeable because we had been to a "luxury" coffee shop earlier that day, which was very disappointing. This BackWerk was tastier, friendlier and at reasonable prices. Let's go get some coffee and a nice sandwich, people!

Great place for tasty sandwiches

FLATBREAD FALAFEL Topped with homemade coriander spread, falafel, muhammara and arugula is delicious!!! Flatbread with tuna salad is nice. Flatbread with serrano ham is a bit salty

Leuk zaakje. Lekkere broodjes en nog normale prijzen. Ik zou zeggen ga er eens aan voor een lekker broodje en een warm drankje.

Backwerk is gewoon altijd goed. Je kan hier heerlijk lunchen voor een goede prijs. Personeel is vriendelijk, ik kom hier graag.

Personal unfreundlich. Trotzdem wir Gast waren wurde uns die Toilette verweigert, um 17:30 . Feierabend war erst um 18:00.

Went to the Rotterdam Rooftop walk on Sunday 4th of June. Got hungry and our group settled on Backwerk for Sandwiches. I got the Tandoori Chicken Sandwich (Topped with freshly marinated chicken, homemade coriander spread, romaine lettuce, mango chutney and cucumber). Very convenient and the sandwich really curbed my hunger, great lunch.

Goed eten en drinken met betaalbare prijzen. Verschillende broodjes ,koud maar ook die warm gegeten kunnen worden.(bij de kassa worden broodjes warm gemaakt). Zelfbediening.ook verse sappen en smooties.

In British terms Greggs but so much better even healthy stuff.

Surprisingly good food and Coffee, juice

Onderweg naar de huldiging van Feyenoord (14.05.2023) hier 's ochtends een broodje gegeten. Goed aanbod van producten en lekkere fruit sapjes. Personeel is vriendelijk.

Vers en lekker. Ook verrassende broodjes en drankjes.

Echt een aanrader kwaliteit verse broodjes de cappuccino was Top. Het idee met dienblad en papier Top geen borden het eten ligt op het papier. Mooie en efficiënt ingericht. Vriendelijk personeel wij komen zeker terug

Our cruise ship visited Rotterdam on one of the hottest days of the year and after wandering round this part of the city we were in need of a drink and something to eat. My wife spotted this cafe with outside tables under parasols and it was also a good spot to sit and people watch on the busy pedestrian street whilst enjoying our cold drinks and snack. Staff were really cheerful and there was a good range of drinks and food for sale.
