Delicious sandwiches and even tastier pastries. Also orange tompouce, very tasty.

I was in the shop and bought a cake. I noticed something black on top of the knafeh tray, and when I looked closer, I realized it was a fly. I told the guy working there, and he said he'd remove it. In my opinion, he should have thrown the tray away because the fly was practically cooked and almost melted. And on top of that, he didn't even apologize or say a word, as if he were a foreigner.

A baker you have to call first, otherwise he won't bake your favorite bread? For the past few months, I’ve only been getting bread here by order... That’s just unbelievable! Even worse: This place has suddenly been completely closed for days, without any form of communication with regular customers! They are no longer reachable by phone either. What is going on? I have been coming here for over 20 years. The business has changed owners constantly, but the bread was always fine (and especially... in stock!). The current owner is really making a mess of things! That is not how you treat regular customers. The staff was always friendly, though. They can't help it either. One star, that is unfortunately all this so-called 'baker'—but in fact a glorified sandwich shop—is worth.

The fries seem to be double-fried. Not fresh. The smash burger isn't a smash burger, but just minced meat. The chicken burger, which is supposed to be minced chicken, is just a frozen chicken burger. Very gross. It takes a super long time to get your food. The drinks aren't cold enough either.

This is the best Moroccan restaurant in Utrecht. We've been coming here since it opened and the food is always delicious. You won't find the lamb tagine as good anywhere else, and the fish tagine is also superb. The lamb chops are also top-notch. We give the staff a 10 out of 10. They're always so friendly and polite. (Just a quick note: the staff's friendliness and excellent service often reflect the chef's excellent management of the restaurant.) That's why we give Restaurant M'HAYA a 10 out of 10.
