Enjoyed a delicious breakfast here by the water. Scrambled eggs with bacon and toast with really fresh orange juice. Very nicely prepared.

Had a lovely breakfast this morning. We ordered a good start to the day, it was more than enough and very tasty. Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and highly recommended!

We took ginger fresh tea, lemon cheesecake and strawberry pie, all was good! Tea was almost 4 euro, and cheesecake 4,75 euro, strawberry pie or aardbeipunt was 4,60 euro. Total we paid 17,25 euro.

Estive no local em Abril na minha última visita a Leiden. Estávamos dando uma volta na cidade após chegarmos de viagem e o local era um dos poucos abertos às 15h para almoço. Pedi um sanduíche de Dark Bread with salmon que estava maravilhoso e ainda compramos alguns doces na saída. Vale a visita para uma refeição rápida.

Pretty heavy cheesecakes. Nice place to have a coffee and some cakes - especially the coffees. Very cute interior with easy going sing- song writer music. Although the interior is a bit kitch and incoherent.

We child had to wait for a simple tosti for 30 minutes. I asked twice and got told that I shouldn’t worry. After 30 minutes it turned out that the bon had fallen on the ground and was thus forgotten. I understand that mistakes can happen, but after having asked for it twice someone could have taken the initiative to double check it with the kitchen.

Zwaar teleurgesteld.We hebben besteld: een broodje gezond, een eierkoek, een latte en een glaasje jus.We kregen: een eierkoek, een snee brood met kaas en minuscule stukjes komkommer, een klein glaasje sap aangelengd met water, een latte (maar bitter en niet de typische latte - smaak).We betaalden hier 14,50 euro voor. Het is niet meer zoals het eerst was, vreselijk duur en weinig voor zo'n bedrag.

En verdad el capuchino estaba rico… pero el 🥐 croissant estaba todo duro parecía que estaba guardado de más de un día por eso si textura y sabor no era nada delicioso. El servicio amable y cordial. Talvez tenga que darle una segunda oportunidad a este lugar 😉

Een leuke lunchroom aan de botermarkt. We hadden een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt, wat mooi gepresenteerd werd (bijna een high tea). Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Ook hebben ze een uitgebreide gebaksvitrine, zeker voldoende keus.

Lekkere cappuccino togo gehaald hier. Cappuccino is nog normale prijs hier, 3 euro. Mooie zaak met terras op de markt. Vriendelijke bediening.

I think Snijers is one of the best breakfast spot in Leiden. Service may be bit slow but that’s not a big problem for me because you can enjoy the view while waiting… We came here also with our guests and everybody liked the place and the food.

Colazionde molto buona la torta, l'ambkente e la cordialita dei camerieri. Accogliente la saletta interna ottima quando piove. La posizione davanti al mercato ed al canale la rende un ottimo posto dove fermarsi mentre si passeggia per il centro di Leiden.

ci siamo attardati guardndo il mercato di Leiden eabbiamo provato questo posto per colazione, i tavolini fuori erano pieni un peccato ma anche unaindicazione che il posto merita. abbiamo preso due cappuccini e due fette di torte di mela deliziosa e per finire una speemuta d'arancia. la cordialita' e l'ambiente meritano una visita. Anche il negozio di torte e dolci vale la pena ma devo stare attento agli zuccheri percio chiudo gli occhi.

I stopped here for lunch and sat outside. The panini was good and it's a lovely spot by the canal. If I'd found this place earlier during my stay in Leiden I would have returned and tried a pancake.

Wir haben hier ein ganz ausgezeichnetes und ausgesprochen liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück gegessen. Das Ambiente, der Service, der Blick auf die Grachten: hier stimmt einfach alles. Vor allem ist anzumerken, dass hier Qualität noch groß geschrieben wird. Ich kann jedem, der nach Leiden kommt, das Café uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

The food was overall good. However, we had to wait an hour for some sandwiches and a salad: not worth waiting this long. The waiter did not put our order in correctly, so the kitchen didn't receive it

Wir saßen direkt an der Gracht und haben sehr, sehr gut gegessen Fingerfood vom Feindten Sehr zu empfehlen Wer etwas erfrischendes trinken möchte, sollte auf jeden Fall Apple Bandit Cider probieren Sehr guter Service und nette Bedienungen 😅

WOW! Ik HOU van banketbakkerij & lunchroom Snijers!! Vorige week vrijdag hoogzwanger hier lunch genuttigd; het ontvangst was hartelijk, mijn mega club overheerlijk, de chai latte en gemberthee perfect, en het chocoladepecangebakje om je vingers bij af te likken! We vonden het ook erg bijzonder en uniek hoe de geschiedenis van Snijers naar voren kwam in vele mooie details in de zaak. En het is ook simpelweg een hele bijzondere en unieke plek om te zijn. Later op de site het hele verhaal hierachter gelezen, superleuk! Wij komen hier zeker weten weer terug!! Nogmaals dank aan de superlieve heer & dame voor het welkomstgevoel en definitely 'til next time :)

Geweldig om hier koffie te drinken met een superlekker gebakje of te genieten van een heerlijke lunch.

Heel gezellige tea/lunchroom met ouderwets gezellige sfeer. Ook koeken ipv gebak te bestellen bij de koffie. Heerlijke eierkoek en gevulde koek.

Heerlijk eten, zeker een aanrader. Kom er zeker terug

Goed adresje met goede keuze van de kaart. Duurde wat lang voor onze bestelling werd opgenomen en voor deze kwam, maar kwaliteit is prima!

Prachtige, sfeervolle winkel waar je, behalve al het lekkers wat je in de bakkerij kunt kopen, óók gezellig iets kunt drinken ( koffie-varianten, linchbroodjes, bierkaart en diverse borrelhapjes mogelijk). Wij heben hier met ons zessen heerlijk zitten borrelen na onze stadswandeling door Leiden!

Zeker de moeite waard!! We wilden ons opwarmen...het werden een heerlijke koffie en gebak!

Heerlijk lunch gehad, daarna een fantastische truffel genomen. De tafel naast ons had een high tea, daar gaan we de volgende keer voor! Bediening was ook vriendelijk.

Heel fijne, authentieke bakkerij voor koffie en gebak. Ze hebben daarnaast ook een uitgebreide ontbijt- en lunchkaart. Ik kom hier altijd erg graag, vanwege de ongedwongen sfeer. Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent. Het is een banketbakkerij die al sinds de 19e eeuw meegaat en dat kun je zien aan de mooie houten facade. Echt een aanrader!

Okay pancakes, not the best. It is a bit unfortunate to get pancakes with cheese that contains squares of cheese that are also not flipped on the cheese so the cheese does not have the nice crust.
