Awesome Flat White. Friendly stuff. Great place to be

Food is not great but its not terrible. Overpriced for the mediocore food you get. I'd give the food a 4/10 and my gf gave it a 6/10. We ordered two wraps, spicy chicken and lam. Lam was not nice. Chicken was ok. It wasn't a busy day and it took 40 minutes to get the wraps we didn't finish. Honestly, just come here for work if you got money or get some hot drinks, no food. Drinks are good.

The best Dirty Chai Latte by far! Ever since I drank this coffee here, everything else has always been disappointing. Plus, they have really tasty food and always friendly staff :D

Excellent coffee bar in Leiden with a great vibe. You'll find students, people reading, or playing chess. The coffee isn't bad compared to the Dutch average, mind you, and the food is also good.

Truly the best iced coffee in all of Leiden! I just think they should have a few more small tables instead of one huge table and benches, but anyway, I will definitely go here more often!

Every year when we're on holiday, we make a detour there. Delicious drinks, amazing food, and great service. One of our favorite spots to relax in the Netherlands.

Bold/brownish man was rude: He put he's hands on his face saying he doesn't understand my brother, which is kinda interesting taking into account that when I go with my husband and try to order the workers don't speak Dutch, and my husband out of kindness and understanding switches to English( which by the way they also barely understand and speak wrong), so maybe next time the bold man should learn some social skills and some maners, if people can come here and be patient with you not speaking Dutch/English properly you should also be considerate with tourists.

Very cute café with big tables as well as smaller places to sit and chat. The falafel wrap was good (€8.50) and so was the ice coffee!

Great spot! Almost don’t want to give the review because I don’t want it to become even fuller and harder to find a seat. But honor compels me to give the cafe what they deserve. Super kind staff, great drinks (coffee is too bitter for me, but the matcha is nice and not too sweet), and the food is surprisingly good for a small coffee place. The halloumi roll was really excellent!

Very tasty coffee and tasty carrot cake. Just a bit of a shame about the strange atmosphere and odd choices. Chairs and tables were weirdly placed, a bit generic music, plastic forks…

Just like the other location the employees are super friendly and welcoming. Went there with my mom and we had a dirty iced chai latte and a iced frappe cappucino- I’m a dirty chai lover but man their iced frappe is great as well! I honestly wish both stores were bigger so I could sit there more often!

Everything is great but some genius decided to always keep the door open and it is freezing inside.

I loved the view bes in this cafe. Enjoyed my time here while reading a book and listening to people chatting.

A wonderful and relaxing place. The person is very attentive, friendly and hospitable. My twins are very satisfied with the drinks. Finally, after 5 months in the Netherlands, I have a wonderful matcha drink. The taste was very small and wild. With coconut milk. Everything is nice and clean. It is good to stay in the cafe, enjoy the coffee. You are welcome 👌🏾😍 Very nice and cozy place. The staff are very nice and welcoming. My twins enjoyed the drinks. Finally, after 5 months in the Netherlands, I found a delicious matcha drink. It tasted exactly how I wanted it, with coconut milk. Everything is clean and tidy. Could not recommend Darras more! I found it about 1/2 a year ago and since then keep coming back. Their spicy chicken wraps are out of this world and they make a great matcha! It's always such a friendly & cozy vibe in their cafe, would 100% recommend if you're looking for a nice lunch or study spot.

Currently my favourite places to grab a quick lunch, I particularly like the Spicy Beef/Chicken rolls, they are filling and delicious. I would definitely recommend their coffee, although I am not a fan of the flavored drinks. The staff are always friendly. The falafel roll is also a great vegetarian option!

This coffee is located in the city center which is nice to stop by when you do some shopping. We order 2 drinks that were good but unfortunately one was a wrong order. We also order 2 wraps as this place is quite famous for it. Sadly we were so disappointed, we couldn’t finish both of them, the beef meat was smelling and testing weird, the chicken wrap had weird piece of meat. Maybe it was just a bad day or maybe not, but certainly I cannot recommend the food.

The atmosphere is good, the place is neat and nicely located! I think sitting there is more fun than taking away and I think you get more for your money. We had 2 iced speculoos latte macchiatos for 10 euros. The coffee tasted delicious, but the speculoos is almost nowhere to be found and the cup was also 80% full of ice. The straw was also way too big for the cup, but that's a minor detail. I hope this review helps the place a little!

Darras Coffee Roasters has got a chill, youthful vibe with a lot of repurposed furniture and a laid-back atmosphere that draws in a younger crowd. The coffee? Outstanding—clearly roasted with care and precision. Food offerings are equally impressive: the muffins are a must-try and the homemade granola hits the spot every time. Great spot to hang out or just enjoy a good cup of coffee.

One of the best cappuccinos I've had so far—I highly recommend it. You can even pick up fresh beans to go.

We stopped to rest and have a coffee and pastry. This is a great coffee bar with belpful staff. We were visiting the town for the day and they gave us places to go to and see. Go enjoy a coffee and home-made pastry.

A cozy cafe with a good atmosphere and delicious coffee

Speedy service, good vibes, and very reasonably priced. The spicy chicken roll was juicy, tender, and well flavoured. It tasted more like a fajita with green and red peppers but that isn’t a bad thing. It was a pleasant surprise. The falafel was good too, fresh mint, pickle, simple and well done. The bread was great, crispy, chewy, and not too thick. I wanted to try the haloumi, but I guess that will be for next time.

We had several drinks (including the Dirty Chai Latte) and they were all excellent!! The atmosphere, the decor, the drinks, the music, ... everything is done so that you can have a good time 👍

Darras is a fantastic café in Leiden! Their iced coffee is solid, but the real star is the Arabian spicy beef roll—bursting with flavor and just the right amount of heat. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for studying, reading, or catching up with friends over coffee. Highly recommend!

Very cozy place to take a break and chill. Very nice and polite staff. We ordered two hot chocolates and a chocolate muffin. Muffin a bit too sugary, but the hot chocolate felt good in the cold weather. A bit pricey but worth the visit

A superb place! Best cappuccino in town! Seriously, coffee lovers, don't miss this place. The food is amazing too - the wraps were spectacular. They're fresh, very tasty and the wrap itself is thin and crispy, which makes the whole thing so much more enjoyable. It's a very decent size too, and filling. <edit: we went to Darras a few more times and the rolls were different every time, and not as good as the first time. The amount and type of even the sauces was not the same - I had a falafel roll twice and once it had some spicy sauce, but not the other one and it was quite dry. Coffee also varies slightly in quality. I would recommend standardizing at least the rolls...> The vibe is great, from decorations, to the music selection and the fact that there is a place for those who want to work on laptops, it's a place you want to go often and stay for some time. The attention to detail for coffee, food and environment is superb.

The food and drinks from this place are good in any season. The ambience never disappoints and the service together with the food are a straight 1000/10. Definitely visit this place if you’re in for a relaxed and fun time!

I was in doubt because it was almost closing time, luckily I was able to order something, spice chicken roll was delicious and well filled! Iced matcha latte was a little less but still tasty! Also plenty of nice places to sit, I will sit here again next time I am in Leiden.

Very nice place. Unfortunately I made the mistake of ordering Matcha Latte. I personally had no idea what it was. But whoever drinks this is not feeling well in their upstairs room. This has nothing to do with the store. Very nice, definitely go there. Greetings to Santa

Best Arabic date cookies in the Netherlands

Knowing Darras for the nice coffees, I wanted to try their rolls as well. Together with a friend we got a double caramel latte and a variation of the rolls. I really enjoyed the spicy beef roll due to the nice flavors and my friend liked the chicken more. The location is nice and the seats are comfortable as well, to enjoy a brunch or study. Quality/ price it was good! 5/5 stars.

It is a no brainer, that this place has the best spicy chicken roll along with tasty coffee! Staff is kind with a quick service considering the number of people it had. Highly recommend their hot coffee and their rolls!

Delicious chicken rolls, very fresh and the bread tastes really good. Portion size is good too Their signature drink dirty chai latte has a unique taste! The regular chai latte is super sweet so if if you like the classic spicy one, this isn't for you.
