They have amazing wraps and you should definitely try their new pistachio muffin and croissant

Double espresso was a bit disappointing and sour

Everything is great but some genius decided to always keep the door open and it is freezing inside.

I loved the view bes in this cafe. Enjoyed my time here while reading a book and listening to people chatting.

A wonderful and relaxing place. The person is very attentive, friendly and hospitable. My twins are very satisfied with the drinks. Finally, after 5 months in the Netherlands, I have a wonderful matcha drink. The taste was very small and wild. With coconut milk. Everything is nice and clean. It is good to stay in the cafe, enjoy the coffee. You are welcome 👌🏾😍 Very nice and cozy place. The staff are very nice and welcoming. My twins enjoyed the drinks. Finally, after 5 months in the Netherlands, I found a delicious matcha drink. It tasted exactly how I wanted it, with coconut milk. Everything is clean and tidy. It's nice to sit outside near the cafe, so I highly recommend it 👌🏾😍

Could not recommend Darras more! I found it about 1/2 a year ago and since then keep coming back. Their spicy chicken wraps are out of this world and they make a great matcha! It's always such a friendly & cozy vibe in their cafe, would 100% recommend if you're looking for a nice lunch or study spot.

Currently my favourite places to grab a quick lunch, I particularly like the Spicy Beef/Chicken rolls, they are filling and delicious. I would definitely recommend their coffee, although I am not a fan of the flavored drinks. The staff are always friendly. The falafel roll is also a great vegetarian option!

This coffee is located in the city center which is nice to stop by when you do some shopping. We order 2 drinks that were good but unfortunately one was a wrong order. We also order 2 wraps as this place is quite famous for it. Sadly we were so disappointed, we couldn’t finish both of them, the beef meat was smelling and testing weird, the chicken wrap had weird piece of meat. Maybe it was just a bad day or maybe not, but certainly I cannot recommend the food.

The atmosphere is good, the place is neat and nicely located! I think sitting there is more fun than taking away and I think you get more for your money. We had 2 iced speculoos latte macchiatos for 10 euros. The coffee tasted delicious, but the speculoos is almost nowhere to be found and the cup was also 80% full of ice. The straw was also way too big for the cup, but that's a minor detail. I hope this review helps the place a little!

Darras Coffee Roasters has got a chill, youthful vibe with a lot of repurposed furniture and a laid-back atmosphere that draws in a younger crowd. The coffee? Outstanding—clearly roasted with care and precision. Food offerings are equally impressive: the muffins are a must-try and the homemade granola hits the spot every time. Great spot to hang out or just enjoy a good cup of coffee.

One of the best cappuccinos I've had so far—I highly recommend it. You can even pick up fresh beans to go.

We stopped to rest and have a coffee and pastry. This is a great coffee bar with belpful staff. We were visiting the town for the day and they gave us places to go to and see. Go enjoy a coffee and home-made pastry.

A cozy cafe with a good atmosphere and delicious coffee

Speedy service, good vibes, and very reasonably priced. The spicy chicken roll was juicy, tender, and well flavoured. It tasted more like a fajita with green and red peppers but that isn’t a bad thing. It was a pleasant surprise. The falafel was good too, fresh mint, pickle, simple and well done. The bread was great, crispy, chewy, and not too thick. I wanted to try the haloumi, but I guess that will be for next time.

We had several drinks (including the Dirty Chai Latte) and they were all excellent!! The atmosphere, the decor, the drinks, the music, ... everything is done so that you can have a good time 👍

Darras is a fantastic café in Leiden! Their iced coffee is solid, but the real star is the Arabian spicy beef roll—bursting with flavor and just the right amount of heat. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for studying, reading, or catching up with friends over coffee. Highly recommend!

Very cozy place to take a break and chill. Very nice and polite staff. We ordered two hot chocolates and a chocolate muffin. Muffin a bit too sugary, but the hot chocolate felt good in the cold weather. A bit pricey but worth the visit

Had to wait more than half an hour for 2 coffees... Food arrived after 30 minutes. The drinks didn't come. very bad service and the staff kept walking around with the same coffee because they couldn't find the customers

A superb place! Best cappuccino in town! Seriously, coffee lovers, don't miss this place. The food is amazing too - the wraps were spectacular. They're fresh, very tasty and the wrap itself is thin and crispy, which makes the whole thing so much more enjoyable. It's a very decent size too, and filling. <edit: we went to Darras a few more times and the rolls were different every time, and not as good as the first time. The amount and type of even the sauces was not the same - I had a falafel roll twice and once it had some spicy sauce, but not the other one and it was quite dry. Coffee also varies slightly in quality. I would recommend standardizing at least the rolls...> The vibe is great, from decorations, to the music selection and the fact that there is a place for those who want to work on laptops, it's a place you want to go often and stay for some time. The attention to detail for coffee, food and environment is superb.

I was in doubt because it was almost closing time, luckily I was able to order something, spice chicken roll was delicious and well filled! Iced matcha latte was a little less but still tasty! Also plenty of nice places to sit, I will sit here again next time I am in Leiden.

The food and drinks from this place are good in any season. The ambience never disappoints and the service together with the food are a straight 1000/10. Definitely visit this place if you’re in for a relaxed and fun time!

Very nice place. Unfortunately I made the mistake of ordering Matcha Latte. I personally had no idea what it was. But whoever drinks this is not feeling well in their upstairs room. This has nothing to do with the store. Very nice, definitely go there. Greetings to Santa

Best Arabic date cookies in the Netherlands

Knowing Darras for the nice coffees, I wanted to try their rolls as well. Together with a friend we got a double caramel latte and a variation of the rolls. I really enjoyed the spicy beef roll due to the nice flavors and my friend liked the chicken more. The location is nice and the seats are comfortable as well, to enjoy a brunch or study. Quality/ price it was good! 5/5 stars.

Delicious chicken rolls, very fresh and the bread tastes really good. Portion size is good too Their signature drink dirty chai latte has a unique taste! The regular chai latte is super sweet so if if you like the classic spicy one, this isn't for you.

Coffee and food are fine. The spicy chicken rolls are well filled and prepared. (Note: they are really spicy.) They are served in a paper bag, so they are easy to take with you. This is a bit difficult to eat if you want to eat them on the spot. It is a small, simply furnished, but pleasant space with only a few tables.

Had a very nice experience, incredibly friendly service that likes to think along. Almond cookies were delicious and the chai was also a pleasure in the mouth. Thank you for this experience - where large coffee chains have missed the mark, you certainly deserve the 5 stars!

During my visit to Leiden, I discovered an exceptional café-restaurant. Located in a magnificent setting, this place stands out for its coffee with a unique and exceptional taste. The food is not of good quality, the meat is almost inedible and the matcha latte is automatically served with cow's milk, while matcha is not compatible with animal milk because it loses its virtues. (Proteins called “caseins” block the action of tea)

Another rubbish caffe place in town: iced cappucino no foam whatsoever, no ice crushed. Just cold milk and coffe with few scoops of ice

Let’s just say that Eda was right! You will know what I mean when you visit the caffe. The place is right in market place, beautiful view to canal and we really enjoyed spicy chicken and falafel roll, too good.
