Where has Baut gone, the place where cooking was done with passion and attention, and where you were served calmly and courteously? So, gone, a glorified snack bar, not expensive, get rid of it as soon as possible so your table can be resold. If you grab a quick bite and then stay for drinks, it's a fine spot, but not for a quiet dinner.

Good terraza, the price is incredible but the sizes are suuuper small and they don’t do the steaks even medium. Is either rare or medium rare, because of this I won't be back. The cheese plate was average. Good fries. At the end, we had to eat another plate of food at home because the quantities were not too small…

Super nice restaurant. Beautiful dishes and a typical French atmosphere. More intimate than the larger version in the center of Amsterdam. You'll be on your way again soon, so keep this in mind 😉

Book ahead is recommended. Outside seating is for drinks so for food you need a reservation for inside. Food is overall good, personally I feel this location is a bit more relaxed than the main one in central.

Very tasty and an asset to Amsterdam Good concept. Now let's hope the prices stay this okay. The staff in the center are definitely better and friendlier than in the south, but the center has terrible acoustics.

Went out for dinner with two girlfriends. We were served in a friendly manner immediately. First had a drink and a snack on the terrace and then had a delicious dinner inside. The food was very tasty. The price-quality ratio is insane!!! Had a wonderful evening. Thanks!

Great restaurant even better staff

We have been here a few times before for dinner. We often eat a bit later, and you are still welcome here. The food is excellent and the menu offers something for everyone. There is a lot of young staff, which creates a nice buzz. It is also nice that you still stand a chance of getting a table without a reservation. That concept is a good addition to culinary Amsterdam.

What a horrible place; the lady with the curly hair treated us terribly. We asked for a beer and she immediately asked if we were Jewish. Then she said this wasn't a hangout spot, while our bellies were rumbling. After that, we left immediately and went to FEBO, which was inedible too.

Great concept, lunch, steak frites 17.50, fast service, worth the detour.

Last Saturday, as passers-by, we walked in with four people to visit this branch as well, along with an old business associate. All walk-in tables were occupied. We asked how long it would take; we were told at least 30 minutes, which was fine. After that, the atmosphere completely changed. Our guests and I were treated ridiculously by what was likely the manager (who had a tablet in his hand). When we asked in the meantime how much longer it might take, we received the blunt answer: "I already told you we were full." My guests were completely bewildered and said, "Let's just go," to which the manager replied, "I wish you good luck." This almost sparked an argument about hospitality, as we were not used to this at the main branch where we dine regularly, to our full satisfaction. In the end, we had a fantastic dinner across the street at Mr Sam, with equally excellent service, just as it should be. The fact that I am taking the trouble to give a negative review for the first time in my life speaks volumes. I hope something is done about this; having a busy business is one thing, but hospitality must remain top-notch. The downside could be that the Amsterdammers (who form the foundation) will stay away as well once the hype has passed, due to these kinds of experiences. It would be a shame, but it would be attributable to this type of manager.

Excellent service, good food. We hadn't made a reservation for lunch today, but we were warmly welcomed and they found a table for us. Even with difficult guests (sitting next to us), they remained friendly.

What can I say? Good quality food. Pre-war prices.

The restaurant is actually exactly what you expect: cheap and with mediocre service. The service is completely inadequate; you constantly have to ask for things yourself. We had to ask for our bread and butter starter up to three times, and the tables next to us also had to shout the whole time if they wanted to order something from the staff. We were not told beforehand that our table had been reserved again afterwards. While we were still finishing our wine, we were told that we were no longer allowed to stay seated and could finish our wine at another table because the new people were already standing at the door. By the time we had paid, those people still weren't there? It is fine if the table is double-booked, but indicate that in advance. The escargot starters were fine, the beef bourguignon was far too salty, and the cheese afterwards was still ice-cold and hadn't been left outside the fridge for a bit first, as it should be. In short: a very mediocre experience. If you have a small budget and don't have high expectations regarding hospitality, it is a fine option for a cheap outing, but you won't see me back there again.

A really lovely place. Had a delicious meal for a more than reasonable price. Better than the big Parisian Bouillons. Especially the terrine with the Amsterdam pickle. Perfectly cooked tender steak. Typical Dutch service: sweet, well-meaning, but chronically doesn't look around while walking back and forth between the kitchen and the restaurant. But then again, it is incredibly busy there.

We really enjoyed it immensely! We tasted all kinds of small dishes and it was a real treat! The leek was a huge surprise and very tasty. Of everything we tasted, that was our favorite. It was very busy there, both on the terrace and inside; we had reserved in advance and that is highly recommended. Friendly staff, fast service. We will definitely be back.

Had a super delicious meal, very nice and good service, atmospheric restaurant, and for little money

After a fantastic experience at the large Bouillon on the Nieuwezijds, we went here for lunch with high expectations. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The beef tartare, which we ordered as a main course, turned out to be a tiny plate of flattened meat without an egg yolk. We found it more annoying that the service was rather uninterested and inattentive. There are many of them, but it takes forever to get their attention. It is also a shame that we were not allowed to eat our dessert on the small terrace in the sun (the large one doesn't open until 4 pm), even though there were several people sitting there. In short: the concept – traditional French food at a good price – holds up, but the execution leaves much to be desired.

The only real point for improvement is the acoustics; you cannot understand each other. (Partly caused by too many tables in a relatively cramped space: very cozy, but such a policy generates extra noise for the guests and serving inconvenience for the—otherwise excellent—staff)

Nice restaurant within walking distance of the Olympic Stadium. Nice terrace (only for drinks). Inside, the Amsterdam School style has been maintained in a playful way; it has a good atmosphere. The restaurant is quite full of tables and chairs... just on the edge of not being annoying. There is no quiet corner for a peaceful conversation, so keep that in mind. The staff is extremely friendly, they are top-notch!!! Even though the restaurant was completely full on a Tuesday evening, our food was served quickly. Nice menu with traditional dishes with a contemporary twist. Portions are small and you have to order fries/salad separately (also small portions).

After a previously positive visit to Bouillon center, this visit was very disappointing. Hardly any atmosphere; whereas the staff in the Center do their best for customer satisfaction, that is nowhere to be found here. Uninterested and distant, a real shame. The food is tasty but does not come into its own due to the ambiance.

Seeing the poor quality of Pigalle Bouillon in 2026, a place I've been frequenting since 2019, made me realize just how wonderful Amsterdam is. This lovely Amsterdam spot, which even serves mousse at the table, will hopefully serve as an example for its Paris branch.

The food was tasty, but the portions were so small. It really wasn't enough. The fries were very thin and lukewarm. You also had to look for dessert with a magnifying glass. I understand the low prices now. The staff was nice but very inexperienced. They brought the wrong drinks and had fries all over the table. It was nice to have eaten here once, but it is not worth repeating. Not recommended.

If you want a quick bite to eat for little money, it is recommended. The quality is reasonable and quite impressive for the price. We visited this restaurant for the second time. We really wanted to catch up on a Saturday evening with a good bottle of wine. For that, this is not a good place. We made a reservation and were seated with three people at such a cramped table against a wall; it was an eyesore. Naturally, we asked for another table, but "this is just the concept," was the answer we received. After a glass of wine, we paid quickly. Apparently, we don't fit into *their* concept. Fortunately, there was a very good Italian restaurant across the street. We had a truly delicious meal there with a very nice bottle of wine. In short, mediocre food at a table that was too cramped.

A little uncomplicated cafe with good service and good quality food. Simple, easy and tasty. The only thing is that it’s french based cuisine, so nearly impossible to get anything vegan or lactose free as all dishes contain some form of butter, cream or cheese. The friendly staff is very helpful in navigating the allergens, but the menu is just not built for it. If you want vegan choices, go some place else. Other than that I highly recommend this place for a nice bite out!

A Paris party for Amsterdam South

Honestly disappointed after going to the one in the center. Got sat at a table that was in a blind spot. Asked for a different table as I could see the disaster incoming - got a no without even checking if getting another table was an option. Had to get up 5 times to ask for: the menu, the water (after we already got food), salt, a drink and the bill. What a shame. Please train your personnel.

Lively place: full, busy, cozy. The food is very affordable, small portions so three courses are definitely necessary. It is served quickly, because there are already new people waiting ;). Makes sense, the price-quality ratio is excellent!

Tasty food at a competitive price, but not suitable for leisurely dining for hours because the pace is fast. Nevertheless, the service is genuinely attentive and it is not a "food factory".

If you read my other reviews, you will find me quite lenient, but this place made it impossible for me to be so. Food: Average or below. Steak was not seared properly and had grey areas. Duck confit skin was soggy, not crisp, and a piece of the meat was mysteriously missing (see photo). Service, the pièce de résistance of this place: HORRIBLE!!! You will literally find better service at a fast food joint in an American ghetto. The staff here were generally quite unprofessional and lacked proper training for a restaurant this place is trying to be. One of them was actually very rude. When I asked for an extra set of cutlery because there was only one set at our table for two, she told me rather brusquely to ask someone else as she was too busy and turned her back on me and walked away. If you enjoy that kind of service you will love this place.

Before we placed our order for the main courses, we were told that we had the table until 17:45 (it was 17:10 at that moment). When we left the restaurant around 17:50, there were still several tables for two available, so why the rush to get us out? The majority of the staff came across as perfunctory and uninterested. Many restaurants in Amsterdam operate with time slots, but this was a very unpleasant way it was implemented. You can grab a quick bite here, but don't count on having a pleasant evening or lingering after your meal.

The concept is well replicated in this new location out of Amsterdam centre which makes it less stressful to go. Food quantity is "average" but quality is above average so don't be too starving. We tasted a few dishes as oeufs mayonnaise (good), snails (good but 2€/1 snail), Holland chicken and steak (both good) but they deserve a small green salad as side dish but it's 5€ more. Water and soft drink are at reasonable prices.

Perfect in its simplicity. The flavors are spot on, the prices are good, and the atmosphere and service were fabulous. Only the potatoes for the French fries could be better. They were just a tad too simple in terms of taste. A small (yet important) point for improvement. Until next time! P.S. A bottle of lukewarm tap water for €2.50 with 5% fizz is really unacceptable too. That needs to be improved as well. Alonsi!

It's a shame that after just one hour you have to order all your cheese, dessert, and coffee at once and have them served simultaneously due to the time constraints! Really not a pleasant experience, in a room that was also soulless and noisy. So, unfortunately, no repeat visit for us.

Very pleasant and good staff; after closing, we were harassed a bit by a clearly aggressive person, BUT, the staff immediately rushed to help, so incredibly helpful and caring! Food of very good quality!

To my surprise, it was very tasty, with friendly service and lovely ordering in Dutch. We really enjoyed a wonderful evening out at a reasonable price. The steak was tender and the apple pie simply delicious. It's just a shame that the tables inside are quite close together, meaning the noise from other guests can be quite loud; that takes the fun down a little bit, but otherwise it was great!

A month ago, we dined at Petit Bouillon Zuid. This branch is considerably smaller than the location in the city center, but the atmosphere is cozy, the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. The only minor downside was the very small paper napkin, but that is, of course, just a detail. Last week, we subsequently dined at Bouillon Centre. Unfortunately, that visit was less pleasant. With dessert, a member of the wait staff sprinkled salt over the chocolate mousse with their bare fingers. We did not find that particularly hygienic. In our opinion, a salt mill or other suitable tool would have been much more appropriate here. When paying the bill, we wanted to use our gift card. However, that proved to be quite cumbersome, and eventually, an employee who presented themselves as a manager was needed to handle the payment. When we raised our comment about the use of fingers for the salt, the response was unfortunately not very understanding. Since we generally enjoy visiting Bouillon, we decided to eat at Petit Bouillon Zuid again afterwards. We wanted to use our gift card there as well. To our surprise, it turned out not to be valid there and could only be used at the branch in the city center. This is all the more remarkable because Google explicitly states that the gift cards are valid at both branches. We checked this ourselves as well. There appears to be conflicting information, which is particularly annoying for a customer. After all, Bouillon is Bouillon, and both branches operate under the same name. If a gift card can indeed only be used at one branch, this should not only be clearly stated, but the information on Google should, of course, also be updated. We are positive about the food, the atmosphere, and the value for money. Unfortunately, those good points are overshadowed by the way a simple customer comment and the gift cards are handled. In our opinion, this could be done significantly better.

As a French person living in the Netherlands, I was so happy to discover Le Petit Bouillon. It's rare to find a restaurant abroad that truly captures the spirit of a real French bouillon. Everything was excellent: the fish, the meat, the salads, the fries, and especially the desserts. The food is authentic, of quality and delicious, and prepared with real respect for French cuisine. The staff is lovely, the atmosphere is warm and lively, and the prices are very reasonable like it should bé in a Bouillon. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. If you're looking for an authentic taste of France in the Netherlands, I highly recommend Le Petit Bouillon. Bravo to the whole team!

Food is amazing! Simple but yet sophisticated dishes rich in taste. Love the ambience, service and specially PRICE

The starters were all fine, but the main courses—steak and fries—were dry, cold, and a small portion! The mussels were tasteless! The wine is placed on the table and you just pour it yourself. Unfortunately, no second time for us.

The mains were quite underwhelming, i had the chicken dish which was super salty and not cooked very well. Haricots verts, escargots and the creme dessert were quite good. Service could ve been more attentive

The food is delicious, but oh my, you sit uncomfortably close together. I get the concept, but this was really not normal. It's also a shame that you can have zero interaction with the staff because it goes so fast, but that’s probably "the concept" too. It really is a McDonald's, but with good food (although McDonald's does have better acoustics and space). This was the first and last time for us.

Just cycled past, Stadionweg. Barrier tape at the entrance 😅 They must have all been there during the first month: students with their parents, people from the provinces, etc. I didn't see any born and bred Amsterdammers. Six months later, it's often a lot quieter. It is, unfortunately, a recurring pattern in Amsterdam.

We had a very tasty meal for a good price. The service is very fast; you can tell you have to eat quickly and leave, but the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. We thought it was worth repeating and will also try the other location sometime.

Unfortunately, I had to stand in line for twenty minutes even though I had made a reservation. The white tablecloth was missing from our table. The serving staff was busy and stressed. There was no smile or "please" to be had. The food was delicious, but I will not be returning for the service.

Super cool place and great concept! We know this restaurant from Paris and we’re really excited that it opened in Amsterdam. The concept is simple: good food for affordable prices. Something rare on Amsterdam ;) we had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes in line but that wasn’t a big deal. It’s quite popular and rightfully so. The woman serving us was super friendly and attentive which is also rare here in the city and the food order was placed quick and we also received the food in very reasonable time despite the full restaurant. We shared the Prei in hazelnut sauce which was delicious and I had the Mussels as a main which was a huge portion and also really good. My partner had the duck which was super tender and filling. There are vegetarian and as far as I can tell even a vegan option on the menu. The Chardonnay was also very good and overall we loved it and will come back!

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Excellent value for money. Service prompt and attentive. Dishes well-portioned and well-seasoned. Great!

The deviled eggs were very salty. You get a small glass of soda with a huge amount of ice; when you take it out, it's exactly like a sip. Empty plates are constantly being cleared away, which is very annoying when you are eating. I am not going back here.

The service was friendly and the food was just fine. For the price, you shouldn't expect culinary masterpieces, so the value for money is good. The concept is interesting and accessible, but because of that, it quickly feels like a kind of food factory where turnover seems more important than the experience. The interior doesn't really convince me either... it's just not quite right. Moreover, the bright lighting gives more of a fluorescent-tube canteen feel than the warm, French bistro atmosphere you hope for. Nice to experience once, but for the atmosphere, I would rather go somewhere else next time.

Super fun new concept in Amsterdam South; you can eat very well here for a reasonable price. Great atmosphere, small tables close together making you feel like you've stepped into a small restaurant in Paris. Fast and friendly service despite the crowds. Just fine and a nice experience. We didn't have a reservation, so we sat outside enjoying the sunshine, filling up on bread, bitterballen, and a few glasses of wine. After an hour, we were allowed inside. Very busy and lively. Fast, efficient service. We ordered tasty bistro classics, green bean salad, and steak fries twice. For two hungry and thirsty guys, we spent 100 euros on the pre-dinner drinks. For 70, you are well taken care of for two people if you have made a reservation. If it weren't such a hype and were a bit quieter, I would definitely go more often.

Great concept, visited for the second time but unfortunately had an unfriendly experience with probably one of the chefs. When clearing the table immediately after the last bite of the main course, he asked which dessert we wanted. I then asked if we could have 10 minutes to think about it and was unpleasantly lectured about the concept. I understand that with 3 courses, a maximum of 1.5 hours (?) is allowed, but we were there for less than an hour with the starter and main course. Not all tables were occupied and there was still plenty of space on the outdoor terrace. It wasn't necessary, so no return visit for us.

A nice, affordable spot for good French food in Amsterdam. The dishes are classic French and prepared with care, without costing a fortune. The atmosphere is cozy and the service was truly top-notch: friendly, attentive, and professional. A small suggestion for the menu: I would have liked to see a classic like duck breast (magret de canard) return, for example, as this would fit perfectly with French cuisine and the concept. Ok experience. We love the concept of a French "bouillon", and set expectations accordingly. That said, the atmosphere inside was dated, cramped and noisy.

It is incredibly nice and tasty to eat here. Moreover, it is very affordable. You can get small bites on the terrace. You eat inside. Classic French dishes of good quality. The chocolate mousse is delicious.

After Bouillon Amsterdam city center, I visited "the little one" yesterday. I really enjoyed myself again. What an asset. It is precisely the Bouillon concept that appeals to me. I read reviews where that concept is apparently not clear to everyone (although I would wonder where the name Bouillon comes from if I were making a reservation). At a bouillon, you are part of the concept and the clock determines how long you sit and when there is a spot available, because at a Bouillon, everyone is equal. Here you eat together with the city and take a seat wherever and whenever there is a spot; the service is typically Amsterdam and for everyone. It is disappointing that people who do not want to or cannot understand the concept also have something to complain about regarding the tables, because they are placed close together. That is like going to the circus and complaining that there is straw because you are allergic, and then mentioning that in your review as well... bizarre. Once again, my compliments for the courage and skill in realizing a bouillon experience in our beautiful city. Speaking from the heart, exactly where it tastes best.

★☆☆☆☆ What a disappointing experience. The food was actually good, which makes it even more frustrating that the overall visit was negatively impacted by the front-of-house team. Our first disappointment came when we were told that food could only be served indoors. On such a beautiful sunny day, that was an unpleasant surprise. The staff pointed out that this was mentioned in the reservation confirmation. However, that’s not when customers make their decision to book. I later checked the booking process again, see screenshots, and this restriction is not communicated during the reservation itself, it only appears in the confirmation email afterwards. Judging by the groups arriving after us, we clearly weren’t the only ones caught off guard. Several other guests were surprised by exactly the same rule. Le Petit Bouillon would save both its guests and its staff a lot of frustration by communicating this clearly before people complete their reservation, rather than afterwards. Most people only glance at a confirmation email to verify that their booking was successful, not to look for important restrictions. From there, things only got worse. The staff, especially the host, came across as unfriendly, stressed, and surprisingly inflexible. We simply asked whether we could enjoy an aperitif on the terrace, place our food order there, and then move inside once the food was ready. We even made it clear that we were happy for this to count against our reservation time slot. The answer was a flat “no.” Throughout the interaction, the attitude felt very much like “can’t do, won’t do,” rather than trying to find a customer-friendly solution. We felt genuinely unwelcome. When I politely mentioned that the experience didn’t feel very hospitable, the staff only became more irritated and less pleasant. Afterwards, I read a number of recent reviews, and our experience unfortunately seems far from unique. The same themes come up repeatedly: unfriendly stressed service, guests being packed tightly together indoors, and an overall impression that maximizing table turnover and profit has taken priority over hospitality and the guest experience. That was exactly how it felt to us as well. It’s a real shame for the kitchen, because the food deserves better than the service surrounding it. Ironically, this approach is also bad business. Guests who feel welcome tend to order another glass or bottle of wine, try extra dishes, leave better tips, and come back. We certainly would have. Instead, we left feeling disappointed and with no desire to return or recommend it to others. Great food, but hospitality is about more than what’s on the plate. Unfortunately, le Petit Bouillon seems to have forgotten that.

Pretty decent bistro food. Tasty terrine where, as far as I'm concerned, the dill could have been omitted from the garnish. The escargots were bland in taste. You can't prepare them yourself for this price. Understandable, but I would look for better ones—butter and more garlic—from the industry. The sea bream with antiboise sauce was very tasty. The cauliflower with Mornay sauce was unique and exceptionally delicious. The crème caramel and the espresso were fine. But... the French fries... seriously substandard. Bad frozen fries. They really need to look for better alternatives here. This stuff was pre-fried in terrible oil, I think. Unappetizing as soon as it's no longer warm, yuck. And those napkins are snack bar quality, pathetic.

I have eaten at both the Nieuwezijds and the Zuid locations. Both locations serve super delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. I plan to come back here often.

There is actually no lunch menu. As a result, the dinner menu doesn't really offer the option to choose suitable dishes. However, for dinner, it is definitely recommended.

The food was really good. However, it is assembly-line work; everything was on the table within 5 minutes of us ordering. Unfortunately, we were really not impressed with the service. I haven't been treated so bizarrely badly in ages. Many Amsterdam hospitality venues are known for their fleeting nature and lack of personality from the staff, but this really topped everything. Upon arrival, we stood in line briefly to wait to be shown to our table. The young man behind the counter said that it wasn't possible for us to have our first drink outside (it was 30 degrees) and that he would give our table away if we did; mind you, I made this reservation two months in advance. Subsequently, after the starters, we got up to get some fresh air outside, only to be dragged back inside after 10 minutes by the wait staff saying, "You only have 1.5 hours for your table." I have never experienced anything like this before. Furthermore, we had the late shift at 8:00 PM, so it's nonsense that we had so little time. This, coupled with her uninterested and bored attitude and forgetting many things, meant that we didn't feel entirely welcome after all. It is a real shame, because we had been looking forward to this evening for a long time. Perhaps it was the evening and the staff were having an off day, but surely that shouldn't come at the expense of the customer.

We had a wonderful meal with our family. We had reserved a table for 4 pm (there were no later times available today). Escargots, oysters, salmon, and steak tartare as starters, and confit de canard, steak frites, and mussels as main courses. Everything was very tasty and the service was top-notch too! Good value for money, and we really felt like we were in Paris for a little while!

We had a delicious meal at Le Petit Bouillon d’Amsterdam. Open for about 4 weeks now, that gave us some time to get started. We are so happy with this lovely concept! The food is of good quality and deliciously French. The prices of the dishes are surprisingly reasonable, just like those of the wines… and these are also exceptionally good in taste. We had snails and oysters, followed by Steak Frites and Canard… for dessert, crème caramel and mousse, and an espresso for 1.90 to finish it off… The staff is well-trained, fast, attentive, and extremely friendly. Definitely friendlier than the average French waiter, but that can happen easily… In short, we had a top-notch evening with a bill that leaves room for a nice tip. One small tip: cotton or linen napkins on the table would complete the experience.

Went for a lunch with a small company The service was attentive especially for Amsterdam standards so no issues there.. Even though I understand it’s a budget restaurant, boeuf bourguignon had literally one normal sized piece of meet and the rest was just the sauce with 2 champions and some small onions Couldn’t finish potato puree either because of the distinctive smell, not great texture either Beefsteak is hard to chew and raw, fries seem generic. Decided not to go for desserts to avoid further disappointment. Overall wouldn’t recommend to visit this restaurant because we found it disappointing. The reviews are combined with the previous venue so it’s hard to distinguish the two.

Cozy French Bistro with good food and friendly service

Had a delicious meal, a lovely selection of dishes that were all prepared with care. Friendly and relaxed service. The wine was also well-priced and delicious! Absolutely recommended! The price-quality ratio is unprecedented in Amsterdam!

Surprisingly good food in a French bistro ambiance with super friendly service for a non-Amsterdam-like (good) price. The starter, main course, and dessert were all very flavorful and the portions were generous. Smoked salmon, escargots, chicken pâté, boeuf bourguignon, sea bream, confit de canard, crème caramel, chocolate mousse, etc... Not a huge menu, but more than enough choice for everyone. House wine on tap in a carafe is also of excellent quality. As far as we are concerned, highly recommended!

Excellent value for classic French bistro food in Amsterdam

I love the concept of Bouillon in Paris and was very excited when a branch opened in Amsterdam. I had to reserve almost three weeks in advance, which I thought meant it would be good, but nothing could be further from the truth. We arrived ten minutes early, which wasn't a problem, and were quickly shown to our table. The tables are tiny; we ordered three starters and they barely fit on them. On the other hand, the menu is comically large. The steak tartare tasted good and the onion soup was thick and very tasty too. I also ordered steak frites, but that was disappointing; the meat was well cooked, but the fries tasted like McDonald's. The food is cheap because the portions are so small. The desserts didn't appeal to me, so I didn't order any. The restaurant tries to create a French atmosphere, but fails. Again, the food was okay, but there is nothing special about this place. The service was friendly and lightning fast; we finished eating within 45 minutes.

You sit super close together, see photo; moving was definitely not an option without further explanation from the waiter. The waitress who served us was sweet and helped quickly! The food was fine, comparable to Ikea food, so I don't recommend it. Especially not considering the fact that you have to reserve 2 months in advance.

The menu is like the original one, but the French atmosphere is a bit less versus the original in the center. But still superb value for money and great service
