I've had food delivered a few times now, and it's always great and incredibly tasty.

My favourite food in the whole world. Our families nr 1 choice since 2023. We always get the Tandoori Chicken menu and we cry from happiness every time.

We always order takeaway from here because the food is amazing and the mango lassi is heavenly. But, one time we decided to sit there and even though the environment inside is nothing too fancy, the presentation of the food was very impressive! I highly recommend coming to try it!

We hardly ever order anything online (often disappointed with the quality), but Mirchi has become our go-to over the past three years. In fact, we think Mirchi has even gotten better over the past three years! Yesterday confirmed that again. SO delicious! (I was still thinking that myself when I woke up this morning, imagine!). And they always have a smile on their faces when they deliver. Friendly people. We're fans! Keep it up, Mirchi! :)

We ordered the biryani as takeaway and it was delicious. Way better than some of the biryani at high class restaurants. Would definitely recommend. Atmosphere wasn't as good though when i was waiting.

It took too long to prepare the order. Delivery orders were prioritised. Food is not on par with other Indian restaurants in the city. No option for dine-in.

The food here offers authentic flavours, and it is also not very overpriced. There is not a lot of seating space available, but the food makes up for it. We tried the daal makhni, the Madrasi chicken and the garlic naan. The food was delicious. I recommend this place for takeaway.

This was my first time ordering from Mirchi and I was very positively surprised! The food arrived very quickly. And because the discount code didn't work we received a free mango lassi. The food was very delicious. I especially enjoyed the lamb madras!

Ordered from Mirchi. Lamb madras and saag paneer were both really super tasty. The lamb madras is one of the most flavorful dishes I have eaten in a long time. Delivery was super fast and friendly. Really recommended!

Quite Indian place with great prices and location with a bunch of other restaurants if your friends prefer not Indian food and you can just have takeout and sit in a nearby park

Ordered my first curry last week and and it was absolutely banging. BIR at its best. The guys are gentlemen and I refuse to go anywhere else now. Amazing service, big thanks from Somerset Rd guys 👍

I do not recommend this place, they try to rip you off with the prices, the menu says one price and then they tell you another, more expensive price.

Leap on the prices it changes every day! I get €16.95 three days ago and then €19.50 again I have no problem paying, but I don't want to be ripped off, it doesn't seem that losing customers is more important to them

Please don't go here!!! It says on the door that they open at 2:00 PM. I was there at 2:00 PM and lights were open but no one was in sight. I arrived a few minutes later (2:15 PM) and I saw a staff member rolling dough while also touching his nose with his finger!!! He then pointed with his hand to wait another 5 minutes. We wait in the cold and he disappears after 10 minutes. Called the phone number on the window but it doesn't work. I will never come here again!!!

Highly underrated place. All food was amazing. The butter chicken is a must! Staff was kind and humble, looked like they were all having fun working there. The sitting area is small so people mostly take away the food for home.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Amsterdam. Every time I am amazed by the delicious dishes full of flavor! Service is top notch and orders are always ready on time!

Picked up food, the butter chicken, tandoori chicken and lamb Jalfrezi were to die for. Tasty naan, nice fresh yoghurt and dahl. Delicious food!

We got food ourselves from Mirchi. Two curries. I suspect that they make the curry sauce in advance and then add ingredients such as chicken and vegetables later because the vegetables were tasteless and the chicken very dry. I missed the Indian spices. Even the papadams and naans were chewy (think they were reheated in the microwave). Service was slow and not exactly friendly. also not a place where you would sit down to eat because it is very bare and without atmosphere. More of a take away.

Loved everything we ordered. Although the place is a bit small, but we loved our dinner over there. We ordered the mixed appetisers (the kababs were delicious). For the main dish, we ordered chicken biriyani and butter chicken. The spices blended well and overall we had an amazing dinner over there. Would highly recommend!

After waiting an hour our food still wasn't there. We called them and were told that it was not yet on its way or made, and that it would take an extra hour. Moreover, during this phone call they only informed us that they refused to come to Amsterdam-Zuidoost, while on their website it states that they deliver throughout Amsterdam. So we waited an hour for nothing and only found out about this because we decided to take action ourselves. Due to this extremely rude and poor 'service' I will never order from here again. We didn't even get an apology or anything. All in all an unprecedentedly bad experience.

Ben wel blij met een Indiaas restaurant in de buurt. Ik bestel vooral de Chicken Biryani. Goed gekruid, gewoon zoals het hoort. De kip echter, mag wat malser, is soms te droog en hard. De Biryani is rijkelijk gevuld met kip, geen probleem maar er zou wat meer balans in kunnen zitten. Heb ook de lam vindaloo geprobeerd maar de curry was waterig. Verder vriendelijk en service gericht personeel. Goede, royale porties en de open keuken, wat ook fijn is. Een absolute aanrader, zo in de buurt. Zie dit echt als een afhaalrestaurant waar veel al voorbereid is in bakjes en opnieuw met kruiden of curry gebakken wordt.

Not real authentic food. Butter chicken is too sweet and have too much coconut. Tandoori is not authentic and is too soaked in vegetables and lost masala.

Lekker indiaas eten gehaald. Lamb madras en was een succes, een week later weer gehaald Lamb tikka tandoori was ook lekker. Baigan bharta was ook goed, maar wel een iets te sterke rook (verbrand) smaak. Hot chickenwings niet bijzonder. Wat pittig moet zijn is pittig wat mild moet zijn mild.

The food is great. I'm not indian but I made it try to 2 of my indian friends and they confirm that is pretty good. I never ever experienced belly problem after ( and I'm delicate). The food is fresh and the people there kind. I really like it.

It is take away Indian food, so order accordingly. Personally my favorites is everything Tandoori. I love the taste of the oven baked food. Some of the curries are ok, but not my favorite to order. Fast preparation, good temperature and packaging.

Ordered Chicken Korma, there's a container full of sauce but barely no chicken in there. The rice is not basmati, is a mix. Flavour is ok, but below average. Not what I have in mind for good Indian cuisine. Pretty disappointing experience.

Great taste and amazing service! The Uber Eats driver mixed up our order and we were left with an order for one person while we were two hungry souls. Called Mirchi and they were so nice to re-deliver our right order personally. THANK YOU!!! Best place!

Better Indian food in this neighborhood. Food is authentic and located in beautiful street window view which is always great. Not a lot of place to seat except bar tool. Mostly for take out.

Naar mijn idee de beste indiase keuken uit Amsterdam Oost. Misschien een leuk idee om een beetje papadum te serveren voor iedereen die komt afhalen?

We always love the food, but alas it arrived cold this time and the bag of papadums was just about empty. We had the samosas (both lamb and veg) and the tandoori chicken. Good recipes, but better when they're actually warm!

The food is intense, authentic and delicious. Because of this, it became my go-to Indian restaurant. Once when they mistakenly gave me the wrong side dish, they then gave me a naan for free.

Great food and Great service. Very easily my most ordered on evenings i am working late. Beyond good sevice, i accidentally ordered to collect instead of delivery and only realised 45mins later, they delivered it within 5mins of my call and it was still hot. Wonderful people and food.

A bit expensive, but SUPER yummy! Really enjoyed my chicken madras and cheesy naan! Will definitely order again!

The best butter chicken ever!!! We used to get food from this place at least every week when lived nearby. Now we moved and miss this place so much, we were not able to find an Indian restaurant as good as this one.

Ik haal regelmatig eten bij Mirchi ❤️. Heerlijke starters en hoofdgerechten. Verse kruiden. Vriendelijke medewerkers. Elke keer weer genieten!

Loved the food. Very good experience. Tried, fried prawn, lamb curry (comes with rice) and naan. Reasonable price. Staffs are welcoming and friendly.

Very generous amounts of food, extremely delicious (the chicken korma was my favourite and the chicken biryani), will come again 😊
