I celebrated my birthday at Bar Botanique and we had an incredibly fun and carefree evening. (+/- 20 people) The staff was super friendly, really thought along with us, and made sure everything was arranged down to the last detail. Thanks to their hospitality, we had a wonderful evening. Definitely recommended!

Bar Botanique was a bit of a walk from our hotel, but it was so worth it (and we needed the walk back after eating)! Staff were super welcoming and friendly, and photos don't do justice to the relaxed, plant-filled interior. It has a relaxed but buzzy tropical vibe and felt like a lovely place to spend a hot evening. The menu is very varied, with a range of classics served tapas-style (though beware that the portions are pretty generous - we massively over-ordered!) :) Particular favourites were the nduja pizza and the smash burger, and the range of drinks was great too.

from the outside, you wouldn't know such a nice oasis awaits inside. friendly service & loved the latin music with the beautiful tropical decor! the drinks were a bit too sweet but we still enjoyed them random but worth noting: we sat at the bar as the kitchen was closing and noticed that the kitchen staff were doing a nice, deep clean. always a good sign for food joints-- i'll be sure to try the food next time

The pita kebab is not a pita but a pizza-like thing with charred grill marks. Not tasty.

Kitchen is nice, some delicious options exist. I can say generally Nice spot for evening, they could even manage two different group events meanwhile , almost 50-70 person.

Went here for a stop during an oyster walk. The oysters were served fresh, with nice, surprising combinations. It was very busy, but ordering was still easy via a QR code, so we had lunch right away. Very, very tasty, on the pricey side, but it was worth it. Saw it briefly to use the restroom; it looks very nice too. Will definitely be back!

The sándwiches are a slice of cheap bread, with such little toppings. The avocado bread litterally had a lettuce and a smear of avocado and was around 15 euros. Why not make decent food when everything else in the place is set up to be a great spot !?

The main selling point of this place is the beautiful interior with so much greenery. The terrace is nice as well. The drinks are good and the prices are fair, the service could be a tiny bit quicker though, especially since we were there during the off-peak hours, but that's not a huge issue. Recommended!

Had lunch last week and dinner yesterday evening. Very friendly service, beautiful terrace, cozy indoor seating, and an extensive menu with surprising combinations. There is plenty of choice even for someone who doesn't eat meat. Highly recommended!

The food was fantastic! There were six of us at the restaurant, and the portions were a bit small for that group; they would probably have been sufficient for fewer people. However, the concept is tapas, dishes meant for sharing. The restaurant is beautifully designed. The service could have been a bit more attentive.

Food was good. Service not so much. I understand it can be busy, but I got the wrong order after having to wait a bit before we could order… Because we were in a hurry, I ended up eating the dish anyways. They did offer to remake it tho!

Very cozy restaurant/bar; we didn't eat anything, just had drinks. The selection is good and it's a very cute place.

At the last minute, we decided to swap McDonald's for something with a bit more atmosphere, and we are so glad we made that choice! It looks super cozy both inside and out, and we were served immediately with a friendly tone. We took a table upstairs and had such a delicious meal! Unfortunately, the volume eventually got so loud that we had to shout across the table to hear each other, but that just goes to show how cozy it is inside. We decided to call it a day after all, but we will definitely be back!

Had such a fun evening at Bar Botanique! We joined one of their bag charm workshops and crafting while enjoying cocktails in such a beautiful setting made the whole experience even better. A special shoutout to Anabe, who was incredibly sweet and guided us through the workshop in the best way. Really recommend!

Cozy bar but poor service. It took half an hour for anyone to come to our table, and we had to play a game of eye contact to get a second drink. We would have eaten there if we thought we could get dinner that day, but we didn't.

What a lovely place! I came for lunch, but it has a cocktail vibe. There are designated areas for laptops, allowing for a good mix of people. And you'll find that here. The service is very attentive and friendly. I was greeted warmly, and there was also someone there for us when we left. The food is fine. The coffee is too, but nothing special compared to other places.

Had a delicious lunch with a ham and cheese sandwich. It was wonderfully crispy on a thick slice of bread. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. And the price was reasonable too. In short, highly recommended!

If you order "mixed nuts" here, you'll unfortunately only get peanuts (which aren't actually nuts either). Too bad. Otherwise, it's a nice place.

Poor acoustics, loud music blasting from the ceiling somewhere, and lots of chattering people, but that's because of the acoustics. That's not relaxing. Waiting an hour for food that has no flavor. The wine, red, is fine, as is the patas bravas. For those who don't demand flavor, it's fine, flat, and neutral. I hope the kitchen can handle it when all the tables are occupied ("yes, sorry, there are a few large groups..."). Take advantage of it, guys and girls, improve the acoustics; music isn't essential, or you need to sense the atmosphere. Then this beautifully decorated restaurant can make a difference! Thanks to the interior designers.

One of my favorite spots in the city. The atmosphere is relaxed, almost all the plants and trees are real, and it gives it a unique botanical feel. The staff is also friendly.

Three person evening dinner visit Tuesday 6 January. We all three went for the ribeye steak with fries and big green salad. The steak was ordered medium rare for all. It was one of the better steaks we had eaten.

Just got back from the creative evening. Annebé was really helpful; she helped us tremendously with the bag charms. Great atmosphere, had a lovely evening!

We came for dinner and the food was indeed really good. We went for the 3-course menu and the quality and quantity were amazing, especially considering the low price. Unfortunately we did have to chase the personnel around for a food menu, or to order more water… Otherwise it seemed like we would’ve waited quite a bit.

Super fun atmosphere. The food was truly excellent. Only at the end of the evening, my back was really sore from the bench.

I like this place, just a big shame that you can bring babies, but you can’t bring laptops 🤷‍♂️

The staff is friendly. However, I waited 40 minutes for a €19 Caesar salad. It was very expensive for what I got; one egg, three pieces of chicken, and no anchovies. Also, there were far too many croutons for a salad, and the salad contained fried bacon (some of which had also turned black). Not tasty. I wouldn't go there for the food. The atmosphere is good, and the staff is friendly.

Thanks for the orange juice 🍊🍊🍊- and for looking after the young pigeon. (It's called squab in English, did you know that?) Hopefully, there's not going to be a next time but feel free to call me about any birds. I started volunteering in wild bird rehabilitation in Florida when I was doing PhD research there. I've adopted birds from there (quaker parrots) and later in England rehabbed a few pigeons with success. It's often like detective work, finding out what is wrong with a bird. 🕵️‍♀️ But there was also a young wood pigeon who flew into a store window and passed away in my hands. It's part of life. 🕊️

Had lunch at Bar Botanique; the atmosphere, interior, and service are definitely good! The sandwiches we ordered were good, but nothing special. The two croquettes, in particular, were lacking some "green"—salad or something—and were a bit sparse. The burrata with muhambara was more complete, though. The iced coffee was delicious!

A lovely cafe with greenery. Ordered a cider and it came quickly. It's delicious. I don't feel rushed at all either, its as if I could stay for 10 minutes to over an hour.

To make a reservation by phone, you're assisted by an AI bot. That wasn't feasible for a group booking of 30p. I was referred from the office, to the bar, and from the bar back to the office. It worked out in the end, but it left me feeling uncertain. Would the evening itself be just as bumpy? Fortunately, it wasn't. We received fantastic service. My glass was never empty, the food arrived simultaneously, was hot, and more than enough. We could hear each other. Soft music played in the background. It was sweltering outside, and we had excellent air conditioning upstairs, which was also very welcome. Thanks for a lovely evening, and we hope to see you again!

It's a great place to be. Both the welcome and the service are excellent. The food meets expectations, and except on weekends, there's always a spot available. The large terrace is a lovely place to meet. In case of bad weather, there's plenty of seating inside.
