Great place for breakfast, brunch/ lunch or even quick breaks after a long day around Amsterdam. A bit pricey but their food condones that. - Eggs were very soft and creamy unlike most breakfast spots. - Chicken Sandwich was crunchy and tasty. - Coffees were decent. Their pastries and dessert are a must try.

Very expensive for food that wasn't excellent and the service was terrible. The waiters were confused, complaining loudly to each other. I ordered a large macchiato. He brought me a small latte. I complained, and he said, "But a macchiato is a latte." "Okay. But I ordered the large one, not the small one." I ordered an Italian toast. The bread portion is large, but there's very little ham, tomato, and buffalo mozzarella. I wouldn't go back.

Terrible food. Pics or didn’t happen, right? The first photo is what I had, the second one what it was supposed to be. Bread was not baked properly. The filling was subpar. Bad “pinsa” overall. I had flat white with almond milk but the problem was the almond milk they use is sweetened. Why?? It was also very watery. Maybe desserts are good, I don’t know. I am dissappointent.

Staff was delightful and welcoming. The food was fresh and delicious. Don’t skip the fresh juice, loved the carrot ginger turmeric!

We stopped here after we saw the huge line at the croissant restaurant across the street. We had an omelet and it was okay. The service wasn't great. I would not go back.

Super friendly and attentive service staff. Unfortunately, I find the food a bit overpriced for my taste! We paid €40 between us for two hot drinks and two egg dishes, which we had to add a lot of salt and pepper because they were barely seasoned. At least all the ingredients on the menu are organic and fair trade.

Disappointing breakfast. Quality of the bread and croissant was bad (not fresh). Have had this breakfast before in other countries and it was perfect. I got another croissant and still it was the same dry taste. You pay a lot for something not worth it really. The jams were almost empty, jars don’t look clean. Overall bad experience and staff didn’t seem to really care.

Central location and beautiful interior, the service was nice, but the portions were super small and the taste was a bit boring. The iced teas were good though and not too sweet.

I was here today at 4pm, I ordered a lemonade and a verry crumble, when I got the berry crumble and ate a bit I noticed ants in the cake, I did get a refund but needless to say I didnt eat anything for the rest of the day.

Not worth it for the price tag, especially for the quantity of food. The yogurt parfait was fine, but granola to yogurt ratio was poor with only a few pieces of melon. The granola itself was quite tasty though. The mini pancakes were nothing special.

This is my third time in Amsterdam, and every time I have breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien. It's always good! This time I had the avocado bread and a vegan cappuccino—both delicious. Friendly, attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere. The menu offers great breakfast and brunch options, including plenty for vegans. I'd happily go back!

I guess if you think a couple scrambled eggs, an underripe avocado and two slices of stale-y bread are worthwhile at a mere - what was it, 15 or 16 Euros - then by all means, go for it! Otherwise it's a big not-again for me. Also, tables are so close that you can scratch your neighbours ear. I like to play tourist every now and then, but this time, I just felt dirty afterwords. On the plus side, the coffee was ok.

Had lunch here today and it was all well taken care of. Our Tuna and Italian Tartines arrived quickly and were tasty. One of the employees Alexander was very polite and attentive and it was a pleasure to eat there.

Very disappointed. We waited a while for our order to be taken - fair enough (even though the waiters were standing around chatting...). However they forgot our order completely. We ended up having to leave for our appointment as we ran out of time waiting. Overall if you expect a minimum level of service - avoid. There are many great brunch places in Amsterdam.

Alexander's service was excellent; He was attentive at all times to ensure that we were well and gave us good advice. Everything we ordered was delicious, the chocolate was magnificent and the mini pancakes excellent.

Had a delicious lunch! Relax in the sun on the terrace. Flatbread with muhammara, feta and grilled vegetables highly recommended! A glass of cava made it complete😄 the sandwich was also absolutely fine, the only downside; no more mayo and that on a Saturday afternoon around lunchtime. Definitely recommended for lunch!

Good breakfast/brunch spot. Good variety in menu options. Food was good. Would recommend the French toast. One of our meals was forgotten so had to remind service. They brought it out later but everyone else finished their meals. Staff sincerely apologized but noticed another table left because they never received their coffee. Might be understaffed or just a bad day? Otherwise everything was decent. I’d return and try other items on menu or just grab a cappuccino.

A café for a quick or last-minute bite. Nothing really stands out. The scrambled eggs were cold and bland. There were also two boiled eggs — I ended up dipping my croissant into them, since the cold, plain bread just didn’t make sense.

It's cozy and has a nice atmosphere. It's a bakery and brunch cafe, and the servers are calm and friendly. If you order coffee, they give you a small chocolate. The bread and boiled egg set was very good for breakfast. The other brunch menus are pricey, but the composition is rich and fresh.

I just wanted to let the staff know that I didn't like the food. I was willing to pay for it anyway because it was my fault that I thought I could get a decent meal here. Besides that the attitude I got from the staff was insane, they literally acted like children completely offended and completely shocked that I didn't like it? Then you stand there... I was not treated like a customer but like an enemy in my opinion. While I politely indicated it and still wanted to pay. Learn to accept feedback or don't open a cafe. In the 24 years that I have lived in Amsterdam I have never experienced such terrible service! I will NEVER come back here arrogant people.

We have been several times and we have always been satisfied, for the food and for the welcome and for the atmosphere. Recommended!

Nice place to stop for a snack and warm up. The tea was really tasty and just what we needed. At first, they brought us the wrong dessert, not the one we ordered. But they replaced it for free without any fuss, which was great. The correct dessert turned out a bit dry, though. Overall, the service made up for the mistake. The staff was polite and handled the situation well.

Very beautiful decoration, a warm atmosphere and a friendly welcome. Our dishes were well stocked and very tasty, the eggs tasted wonderful and the combinations were exceptional. We thank you for this taste experience. We highly recommend, they will not disappoint you with their delicious breakfasts.

Really a terrible tent! A fruit salad from Albert Heijn for €7.45 and a dry cherry pie for €7.25!!! RIDICULOUS! So not worth it!!!

What an incredibly cute bakery this is! Highly recommended if you like the French bakery style. Because there is wood almost everywhere you look, the atmosphere is very cozy and authentic. Moreover, super sweet staff and very tasty sandwiches 💕 Would definitely go there again!

Service and ambience was fine. I ordered a crossaint with cheese, a chocolate crossaint and a hot chocolate. Unfortunately the hot chocolate only tasted like milk. I had a little more expectations of the café.

When we arrived we had looked online and it seemed to have good choices and a nice atmosphere but this was not the case.we were sat while the waiter had four different conversations .He was very rude when we tried to order he cut off to shout across the room at other staff .We ordered a large fruit bowl and “sourdough bread with chicken on it “.It came out brown like wheat based bread not sourdough which is usually white also it was Parma ham not chicken on top .My boyfriends large fruit bowl was 10€ which is extortionate for the size of the portion that came out . We ended up tipping 10% but only because the waiter was staring into our soul while waiting for the payment on the card reader Very disappointing way to end our Amsterdam trip

I've been twice to Le Pain Q. during my stay at Amsterdam. The food was really good (specially quiche and spinach roll ) and the staff was very kind. We will sure come back on a next trip.
