For a drink with friends I went to this welcoming place, super cozy with equally welcoming and friendly staff. You immediately feel at home. There are also lots of board games available to customers. Recommended! :)

We were just there today for The Offline Club event. The woman at the bar was extremely rude. I asked if they have fries since I saw them have similar snacks like bitterballen in the menu and she laughed as an answer and said “No this is a cafe we don’t fry things, they would smell horribly. We have other snacks, though”. A simple no would be sufficient, no need for sarcasm. Also when I asked for sugar for my tea, they just face me the sugar without handing me the tea. When I asked for my tea, she said “Over there” but the guy actually hadn’t prepared it yet, there was not anything on the counter. How is this place still open with such poor service? They also continued speaking in the silent part of the event while everyone was reading.

Best bar in town! Cozy and beautiful interior and amazing cocktails. Only downside is that during weekends there are groups of workers (maybe company) having drinks and they tend to be quite loud and obnoxious.

Great place, I come here a lot even though I don't live in Amsterdam anymore. But when I get back this will be a regular stop. Very nice cozy bar with bar stools at the front and relaxing chairs at the back. There are also board games for enthusiasts! Thank you for all the wonderful evenings!

A lovely hidden gem in the middle of Amsterdam. We had several types of cheese with nice wine and beer. Super chilled, lovely place a million miles from the bustle outside. Food score lower only because it doesn't feel like a focus and didn't detract at all!

Was with my colleague but to small place with oldest sits, and only I can take beers and some snacks because you don't have some other options

Stopped by to meet a friend for an hour. The beer and snack we had was perfect and the service was fantastic. The outside seating was cramped and a bit small but it had a corner pub feel.

Whilst wandering around the city on the way to a reservation, I stumbled on this bar and well I cancelled my reservation elsewhere!  What a gem of a bar.  I didn't realise until I got home that they had most deservedly won best bar 2024! This is a long overdue review. I visited here when I visited Amsterdam for the first time, and even though I was only out late at night due to being at the Zandvoort race in day, and hundreds of miles from home, I felt like I’d found a place that was really genuine. I will genuinely never forget my visits here and I hope I get to visit again, maybe speaking a little more Dutch. You guys are the best.

Kind but... they are not capable of making a proper American cocktail unfortunately. Cocktails not at all alcoholic and watered down, dirty tables and below average toilets.

Luogo fantastico, personale super accogliente. Siamo stati in vacanza ad Amsterdam e casualmente ci siamo imbattuti in questo locale per bere una bottiglia di vino, prezzi buoni e vino altrettanto. El mejor sitio para comer queso rico y un buen vino, el bar es acogedor y el guapo que nos atendió aparte de generoso es súper eficaz woow, tenía el bar lleno y estaba solo y en ningún momento lo vi estresado. So 12/10 💯 por 💯 recomendable.

Wir waren Abends im Barbetrieb dar und hatten einen grandiosen Abend an der Theke mit den Barkeepern (🫶 for you guys). Im hinteren Bereich gab es noch einige Brettspiele. Falls wir mal wieder in Amsterdam sind auf jeden Fall wieder!

Kom hier al jaren. Heel goed betaalbaar (zeker gezien de locatie), aardig personeel en gewoon een hele fijne, relaxte sfeer.

Ik kom al jaren in de Jones! Super gezellige sfeer en perfect om met iemand af te spreken. Er staat leuke muziek op maar je kunt elkaar nog goed verstaan omdat het niet te hard staat, er zijn bergen met bordspelletjes en lekker bier op de tap. Wat wil je nog meer :)

Een van m’n favoriete kroegjes in Amsterdam; knus, welkom, snelle en aardige bediening! Loop er graag binnen voor een praatje en een drankje :)

erg leuke bar. het personeel was erg vriendelijk en we hebben genoten van de tijd die we hier doorbrachten. zal zeker nog een keer terugkomen.

Encontramos este bar un viernes por la noche cuando nos dirigíamos a Bier Fabrik y qué gran descubrimiento fue este. Este es un gran bar con una gran decoración y mobiliario que incluye arte fresco en la pared, es un gran bar, pero en nuestra visita estaba completamente lleno, quiero decir solo de pie, estos son los tipos de bares que amo. Conseguimos una cerveza Gulpener en el bar y nos empapamos del ambiente genial en este concurrido y popular bar, esta cerveza se sirvió fría y chispeante, ya que es una cerveza ligera y con forma de lúpulo, es muy fácil de beber, terminamos quedándonos aquí para dos cervezas cada uno antes de seguir y, por primera vez, nos quedamos muy impresionados con este bar, no solo las cervezas, sino también la gran vibra de aquí. Bar Jones es realmente fácil de localizar, desde Dam Square simplemente camina por la calle llamada Nes donde encontrarás este bar. Horarios de apertura son; Lunes, 4 pm hasta la medianoche. De martes a jueves, de 4 pm a 1 a.m. Viernes y sábados, de 4 pm a 3 a.m. Domingo, Cerrado. Un gran bar y vale la pena echarle un vistazo

Ahora vamos cada y luego con un grupo enorme, y tienen una buena cantidad de asientos en el interior, aunque a menudo desbordamiento hacia el exterior donde los coches y bicicletas de presión. Las bebidas y los precios no son nada especial, pero como el diseño del interior. También está en una zona poblada, pero por una tranquila calle. Es un buen lugar para tomar una bebida. :)
