Great cocktail bar, really friendly staff and very attentive and welcoming. Make cocktails to your liking, I had a whisky sour, was one of the best I've ever had. The ambience and decor was very sophisticated. The prices are a little more but they are worth the prices.

Have not eaten there, but the cocktail was awesome. I liked the great flair and view at the river.

We went as 2 families, although it was our first time choosing this concept, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The Kwndi cocktails they made were pretty good. Thank you for your effort.

In fact, some rude people came in, took a look at the menu and, upon seeing the prices, left without hesitation. A real pleasure to see how exclusivity acts as a natural filter. The service is impeccable, attentive without being invasive, always ready to recommend a good spirit or suggest a custom cocktail. Everything is in its place to spend a relaxed evening, with the peace that only certain places know how to offer. A perfect corner for those looking for quality and a good atmosphere without concessions.

Cool little bar, with good bitterballen and friendly staff. Detractors were only that my pint tasted old and the seats were a little dusty.

Freddy’s is nice but gives the impression that it is trying very hard to uphold its image as a chic hotel bar. Seems a bit soulless. Though I did like the old Heineken brick bottles on the wall. 6 euro for a vaasje is definitely overpriced, though.

It was very busy on a Saturday evening, but we were still able to accommodate four people. The atmosphere is relaxed and the interior looks chic. Drinks took a while due to the crowds, but were otherwise fine. The prices are sky high, also considering the location. So wouldn't necessarily come back there. Staff was very friendly, so still four stars.

Ten en cuenta que en realidad no estaba dentro, sino en la pequeña habitación delante de la entrada. The service was extremely slow, had to wait 20 minuten for our drinks. When asking for the bill it never came.

This bar was one of our favorite.We ordered wine ,that was extremely tasty.Our waiter was very attentive and nice ,the guy also gave us recommendations based on our preferences.The prices pleasantly surprised us,they were very affordable.Bar looks very classy,and the atmosphere there is very cool.We’d definitely come back.Thank you!🤍

We absolutely loved Freddy’s. The staff were super friendly, seemed passionate about what they did, knowledgeable about their offerings and enthusiastic to share the history of the bar. The cocktails were fantastic, highly recommend Freddy’s Martini, bitterballen were great and the Heineken was nice & fresh. Will definitely be back!

Besides beer, very good staff who make the best cocktails you could wish for. You really have to go here Amsterdam at its best!!!

Stopped in here to rest our feet after walking around Amsterdam all day. The bartender was a sweet older gentleman that was really patient with me and helped me decide what to get. The environment is very nice and the drinks are not badly priced. Would definitely stop in again if in town.

Great place, friendly and easy going welcome, wasn’t dressed for the occasion, but they didn’t mention it, great champagne and cocktails, good people around, service all good, especially the Dutch lady who wears glasses(sorry can’t remember the name) thank you for a great evening.

Good bar with a greater atmosphere. However, (probably because of the location) I feel like they drinks are overpriced. I don’t mind paying more for a high quality cocktail with sustaining flavor that really stands out, however what you get here is good, but not more than that. Portions aren’t big either. Also, I would expect slightly better service. I feel like I didn’t get as much attention here as in other high-end bars.

Always with a smile, he is cheerful, attentive and makes each visit special. Guido has a gift for making you feel welcome and cared for. It's rare to find someone who truly enjoys their work and passes it on to clients. Thanks to its excellent service, Freddy's Bar has become our favorite place. Without a doubt, Guido is the star of the place!

Absolutely wonderful spot for a nicely crafted cocktail near the city center. The bartenders were incredibly nice and engaging, and my whole experience was just perfect. I will absolutely be visiting this bar in the future when I travel to Amsterdam.

Best cocktails I had in Amsterdam! The outdoor seating is nice and calm yet on the canal. The indoor seating is very chic! Service is impeccable, and literally had the best spicy margarita ever made by Cedric!

Heard of Freddys from a family connection who lives in the Netherlands and both me and daughter decided to go and see. WOW what an oasis from what Amsterdam is...soft quality Jazz, absolutely impeccable service and drinks with a very fine selection of snacks...all in all, a visit to be treasured and we will return on our next visit.

This hotel bar, situated in a central location, features a high-end yet somewhat touristy vibe, attracting a mostly middle-aged crowd. The drink selection is average, though the prices are on the higher side. I wouldn’t consider going back.

Very bad...renovated for the umpteenth time for way too much money and still a soulless hotel bar...ordered a glass of wine, preferably chardonnay...an open wine. Without consultation, a wet glass of white wine for 25 euros...I'm really used to something. I know what it could cost, but this was really..No idea actually.Never come there again..Tourist trap

Classic cocktail bar that is part of the gastronomic offer of the Hotel del Europe. We stayed one of the nights we stayed at the beautiful hotel, to try the drink, similar to gin, typical of Amsterdam. The service was very attentive and the place has a very good atmosphere. Highly recommendable

De L’Europe is clearly a serious hotel however I found that Freddy’s Bar fell short of its surroundings. Service was courteous but quite slow and I was treated to the smallest vermouth of my life (take note those of you used to the normal Mediterranean serving size), perhaps it’s the Dutch way? For a drink there are better options (including just across the street). Great toilets though.

Nice place to sit outside when the weather is good. You can sip a cocktail contemplating the sunset, the canal in front of you, the bikes and people walking around. I had diplomático reserva especial rum and shrimp croquettes. Lovely

Eclectic and delicious drinks in a high-end lounge environment with a very nice bar. Highly recommend when visiting Amsterdam. It gets crowded, but if you are able to grab a seat, enjoy!

M'n amice staat hier passievol achter de bar. Kordaat stapt hij op je af, vast ter been met het dienblad in zijn linker dan wel rechter hand. Foutloos. Helaas weet hij dat zelf ook dondersgoed. Dus kijk uit vaders, laat je dochter hier niet te lang alleen zitten. Freddy's beerkitchen is ook niet vies van een vintage plaatje. De plaat van de maand ligt binnen no-time onder de naald, en dat trekt mooi volk en veel vrouwen. Dus dames zorg ervoor dat het scheermes verticaal langs de benen is gegleden, want je bent niet de enige die aast op die aantrekkelijke barman. Charmante tent, lekker bier en goed eten. Bokbierdag is ook een aanrader. Een toevoeging aan het Koningsplein en Nijmegen alom. Hulde. Wie is trouwens Freddy?
