If you're looking for a nice and cozy place near that area, that's the spot for you! The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff members are super friendly and ready to assist you. The music is great and not super loud, so you can comfortably have a talk. Highly recommended.

Visited as the Amsterdam marathon was going on outside. Lots of people both out and inside. Not sure if it’s always busy or if it was the marathon crowds. Cool old bar that feels used. The beer selection was very good. Both on tap and bottle. Lots of craft beer, predominantly Dutch breweries. Bartender was efficient and helpful. Recommended place.

What a strange guy was behind the bar today. He'd rather be rid of me. I don't know why, but we'll ask him soon with his threats! I wasn't allowed to text my daughter at the bar.

This bar is definitely my favorite! The atmosphere is very cozy, the drinks are great and every time I come here I feel completely at home. I especially want to thank Sophie; she is always friendly and does her job with great care. Her smile and energy always make the evening better. Definitely recommended!

Local craft beer bar. It wouldn't wow you much with the selection if you're into craft beer, but there's little much around to that level, so it's a good place if you're in the area.

Great local bar with a wide selection of beers. It’s rather small but it definitely adds to the atmosphere. The staff were attentive and welcoming, so were the patrons. It was a fun pitstop as most of people were local and there were only a few tourists. Of the tourists that were there, everyone was really friendly and chatty to them adding to the vibe.

Super authentic local bar with great beer, board games and charming staff who pull your pint in between bites of cottage cheese. If I lived here, this would be my second living room! Icing on the cake is the pile of hard boiled eggs on the counter which you can help yourself to for free along with the salt and tabasco they have set out. Sardines with crackers on the menu only makes me love them more :)

Such a great small bar. One of the few I've been to which has a local vibe but is still very welcoming. The beer is great (get the Saison Dupont and a couple of glasses), and sometimes they come round with surprise snacks for you.

Great pub, with a great and extended list of local Amsterdam craft beers. Some outdoor seating, but I love it inside: excellent music choices. It doesn't have a kitchen, but you can order some cold bites.

The person working there was very educated and friendly, like the place and the atmosphere. Afternoon time is the best, the area is full of bar's and restaurants with good people close to the center but away from that caos that the Amsterdam center can be.

Friendly atmosphere, local pub, very welcoming with a wide selection of beers. Cannot recommend more. Will go back soon!

Buurtcafé wat zich profileert als proeflokaal voor (kleine) Amsterdamse brouwerijen. Uitgebreid assortiment lokale bieren. Prettige ongedwongen sfeer in Oost.

Lifesaving cheese after midnight. Great beers on tap from some great local (micro) brews. Easy pub on the corner as well as a taproom. Very enjoyable, great people. Exceptional bartender. Thanks for having us.

Cushions abound in this new'ish bar which has an excellent range of craft ales at reasonable prices. Its a little out of the centre but well worth a visit and tram stops are pretty close too.

Small and casual, this bar promotes local craft ales in a stylish environment. Dutch newspapers are scattered on a large table and chatty staff establish an amiable atmosphere.

Heel open sfeer, iedereen praat met iedereen en drinkt de lekkerste bieren van de tap. Op vrijdag heerlijke vega hotdogs. Gratis! Aanrader!

Gezellige buurtkroeg! „Alleen Amsterdams bier“ klopt niet helemaal, bovenaan de kaart staat Gulpen… Het tweede biertje wat we wilden was er niet en 5 euries voor een stukkie ossenworst is wat overdreven!

Heel gezellig & veel keuzes van dranken. Ik woon nu in ALMERE. (Helaas). Almere is heel anders dan Amsterdam. Ik kom als nog een keer onverwachts langs.
