Very enjoyable birthday drinks with friends. The high table by the entrance is ideal for this. Accessibility by public transport is very convenient for those coming from out of town. Nice snacks and drinks, good effort from the staff.

Really nice place, good food and quick service

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. My dish contained bacon, even though I don't eat pork. Instead of making me a new meal, they simply removed the bacon and served the same dish again – even after I asked several times. When I finally tried to order something else, I was told the kitchen was already closed. Furthermore, the service was unfriendly. This is neither customer-oriented nor professional.

We were, once again, welcomed with open arms. The reservation for drinks for 80 people was perfectly prepared, and we were allowed to order at the bar, but they also came out to take orders. On a sun-drenched terrace in April. It couldn't have been better. Thanks again!

🍔 Absolutely loved the vegan burger here 🤤 The taste was so good, it’s going to linger in my mind for a while. The bun had a perfect crisp to it, and the sauce brought just the right amount of tangy zest. Even better with a gin and tonic on the side 👍 Plus, it’s right beside Lelylaan Station, which makes it super convenient to visit. Great food, fantastic service, and definitely a place I’d come back to soon 🤩

Fine croissant, but jam from a sachet feels a bit meager. And I missed having some butter with it!

We had a lovely time on the terrace. We did have to move tables three times (in the sun/out of the sun, high table/low table = that kind of hassle), which can be very annoying for the wait staff... But the staff were very nice and helpful. We had tasty dishes and wines, with a second round of sweets (the carrot cake stood out). The menu cards could really use a wipe, though... Especially when you lay them out at a reserved table. It looks neater without stains. But we will be back. Bring on the summer ;-)

We had a delicious meal and drinks. The Turkish eggs are a favorite! I do think the tables on the raised area are very close together.

Ordered a gluten-free sandwich. When the waitress placed it on the table, I asked if it was gluten-free; she said yes. Then, 5 minutes later, she came back and said it wasn't gluten-free and they were going to make a new one. Very nice, but of course, I had already taken a few bites. End result: sick. So, not recommended for people with allergies.

During my stay in Amsterdam, I had many positive experiences in restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. I arrived exhausted from travel with 2 suitcases and a dead phone. I politely asked if I could briefly charge it so I could call an uber to reach my hotel. The staff checked, and they did have an usb c charger, they said no in front of my face and walked away. Not even a “sorry we can’t help”. What made the experience uncomfortable was the atmosphere, I felt unwelcome and judged at a vulnerable moment when I was simply asking for basic kindness. I understand businesses have policies, but the way situations are handled makes all the difference. A little empathy would have gone a long way.

Cozy place, a real surprise at this location. It looks nice inside and there's also a fairly large patio. We ordered the drinks platter, a mix of fried and other things, and it was delicious. I had the veggie burger, which was delicious (though difficult to eat with a portobello mushroom that's hard to bite into, haha). The others had a regular burger and the short ribs. Everyone enjoyed it! The beers were great. Unfortunately, the last order didn't arrive, but they promptly removed it from the bill.

Really nice option in the neighborhood with good drink options and community events. My eggs Benedict was okay, not that warm, but the coffee and juice were good. I would like to come back and try more items off the menu.

The surrounding area isn't particularly inspiring, but that makes it all the more enjoyable that there's a nice restaurant there. My son lives in this neighborhood, and we wanted to grab a drink without having to take public transport. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious wine, and bitterballen (Dutch meatballs). A real success.

A really nice place to enjoy a meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and creates a pleasant atmosphere. I chose the pulled chicken sandwich. It tasted good, although the ratio of chicken to bread could have been a bit more generous. Unfortunately, the food was served a bit lukewarm.

Lousy food...and a long wait. And it wasn't all brought out at once. The food-to-plate ratio was a bit off. Oh yeah! The coffee and tea were a welcome treat!

One guy working here tall came to close the heater at 12 and we went inside to ask to put them on and they say that is automatic but we definitely saw the guy pass and close it with the remote

There's a really chill atmosphere, and someone was even spinning records. The service was excellent and fast, the food was delicious, and we had a pleasant evening.

What a lovely spot this is! You can relax here with a bite to eat or a drink, and the staff is super friendly. It's centrally located across from Lelylaan Station, yet it's a wonderfully peaceful spot! I'll definitely be back here again to unwind!

We reserved with a big group (90 persons), and had multiple allergies and dietary preferences that had to be accounted for. We had an amazing dinner! The personnel was professional, helpful and very hospitable, the space was cozy and had great music, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Thank you for making this night special!

One of the best loaded truffle fries I've had in the Netherlands. It's a very underrated Bar Restaurant. The location is very convenient, given that it is right outside the Leylaan station. The staff members were very kind and polite as well. It's decently priced as well. Would highly recommend!

I recently celebrated my birthday with a group of 30 people on the terrace of Bar Restaurant Lely, and it was a huge success! The terrace catches the sun until late, there's plenty of space, and the staff is incredibly friendly and happy to help. Together we made it an unforgettable afternoon and evening. We stayed in Amsterdam for 5 days...we ate here for two nights. The place is very nice and clean (the city isn't particularly clean...so 1 point in their favor!), perhaps more for aperitifs than dinner...but with delicious burgers and irresistible appetizers. €10-20 isn't the price range for dinner, but compared to other places, I'd say it's one of the cheapest. The staff is young and helpful. Go there!

Sat on the terrace with a friend and enjoyed the lunch menu (via Tripper). We had asparagus soup, a Benedict sandwich, and a Norwegian egg sandwich. It's a wonderful, relaxed place with (always) friendly, attentive service. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lunch with a harissa sandwich (10 euros). A bit dry. Not very tasty and served plain. Ridiculously expensive.

Excellent mussels with a delicious coconut milk broth. Generous portion definitely worth the money. Not the biggest fan of the thick cut Dutch fries, but that’s fine enough

Really a nice place to spend some relaxing time after a day of walking in Amsterdam... our hotel wasn't far away, it's worth discovering if you're in the area 😊. The servers are friendly overall even if for some, the smile is a little lacking but we excuse all that... you might have a bad day! 😉

The place is very nice, bright and clean, I took the Norwegian eggs and they are delicious! The waitress' service was excellent, very kind and smiling.

Gorgeous bar restaurant, beautiful interior. We ordered Norwegian Eggs, a brownie and an Apple Pie. Prices on average with other places, and everything delicious. Furthermore, the waitress was very courteous. :)

A nice place, close to the station. The vegan croquettes were tasty, but could have been fried a bit crispier. The sourdough bread tasted good. Friendly staff, but could be a bit more attentive. I would definitely come back here again.
