The charcuterie board is highly recommended. Truly delicious. Several tasty spreads for pieces of bread. My favorite: Soft goat cheese with garlic sauce and cherry tomatoes. Salmon sandwiches are super tasty and prepared with care. And much more. Available from 14:30. Next time we'll go again around that time!

Nice café with indoor and outdoor seating. The apple pie with cream was delicious, the cappuccino was okay, but the chai latte wasn't so good.

Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience. I ordered coffee, pastry, and a glass of water. I received cold, very strong coffee without a cookie, without water or the pastry. Afterwards, I had to ask about the water; it was eventually provided, but still without the cake. Not recommended!

Yes, for me, this is the barista in Haarlem. Good location, friendly service. It's a nice place to sit. Highly recommended; if you want to sit comfortably, just check the back to see if the armchairs are free. You will be served. If you want to pay, just walk to the counter and they will help you. You can also sit outside; definitely do so when the weather is nice.

The atmosphere has changed, and not for the better. What I noticed within an hour: * Less welcoming approach. * Tables not clean while the staff were standing around talking to each other about private matters (so not too busy, which is why this can sometimes happen). * A female employee who wiped a serving dish with her sweater/elbow? A paper towel was placed over it afterwards before food was put on it. * An old man who wanted to pay with cash and then said there wasn't much change. Fortunately, the young man serving the coffee stepped in and said there was plenty. * A female employee who couldn't calculate in her head how much 20 euros minus 1 cola was. + Getting used to the new terrace. + Positive: the young man serving coffee who actually kept working and didn't join in the chatting. + The coffee is still just as tasty. In summary: points for improvement that can be resolved quickly. So, goodbye.

Spacious yet quiet and modern place with good food and a great atmosphere. Besides all the typical barista stuff, a cold beer on the sunny terrace is definitely an option too!

When I am in Haarlem, I sometimes stop by here for a cup of coffee or lunch. The atmosphere is always relaxed and the staff is friendly and quick. It is a beautiful, large place with plenty of seating inside as well as outside or on the terrace! The prices are a bit on the high side... But there is no getting around that anymore.

We thoroughly enjoyed a high tea for three. The food was varied and truly delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was calm and bright. We had plenty of space and were comfortable at the back of the café. This is a place to remember!

This cafe is a true hidden gem in Harleem town, it’s has a truly great vibe and very welcoming atmosphere. The Berry Yogurt bowl is totally delicious and filling, I had it several times during my visit. Home made cakes are beyond temping and great selection of coffees. We had to wait a long time before being helped, even though the place wasn't full. Then I got the wrong drink. It happens, but you expect it to be resolved quickly. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I had to wait over 20 minutes for the right drink (coffee, nothing special). The coffee didn't taste good... the milk seemed burnt. And then I had to wait in line again to pay. All in all, not a good experience.

The interior feels bright, clean, and well-maintained again. The wooden floor is finally coming into its own, and the space looks fresh and inviting. The new pink wall with its elegant moldings has become a real eye-catcher and gives the café a warm, contemporary feel. What's particularly striking is the attention to detail. Everything has been thoroughly renovated, and you immediately feel it as a guest: it's clean, atmospheric, and meticulously maintained. The love and dedication that went into this relaunch is evident in the entire experience. I had a cappuccino with beautiful latte art, exactly how you'd hope, and enjoyed a delicious cinnamon scone that was perfectly moist and full of flavor. Simply high-quality coffee and fresh pastries, just the way they should be. The café has also gained much more visibility online. The fun and spontaneous videos on social media offer a behind-the-scenes look and create a personal, contemporary feel. In short: Barista Café Haarlem feels like a new life. From now on, it's a regular, weekly stop for me. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good coffee, a warm atmosphere, and a place where they clearly work with passion.

New owner, and that's no improvement. I overheard her conversation with a customer. I was surprised by her tone and lack of empathy. A friend with a milk allergy was given regular milk, which was handled very casually. Furthermore, the atmosphere has deteriorated considerably after the minor renovations.

Since the new owner arrived, the restaurant has undergone a major renovation. Everything not only looks very inviting but also noticeably cleaner and better maintained. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the management is clearly strong, ensuring high-quality food and coffee. The staff is helpful and attentive. The flat white was excellent, and the scrambled egg sandwich is highly recommended. I'll definitely be back!

The place was quite big but the drinks were disappointing. The golden smoothie had barely any flavor (barely felt the fruits) and for the pistache matcha, you cannot call it matcha. Service was not the best. Will not come back

The coffee is good, but the food was absolutely awful. Five staff members pay absolutely no attention to anyone who walks in or out. I almost made my own sandwich. Ridiculous and utterly amateurish.

The atmosphere was great and the coffee was delicious. But I didn't eat the food. The corner was covered in mouse droppings, and even on the table! I can understand how difficult it is to control mice in a city, but this was simply disgusting and unsanitary. Especially if you have mice, it needs to be kept clean, and in the hospitality industry, you shouldn't have traps in plain sight. Bad intentions, and I didn't eat the food either. I don't want to know about the hygiene in the kitchen when the restaurant's is already so filthy. Should I vacuum it?

Well... the pastries were mediocre (we had a tasting). Coffee was fine. Service could definitely be better. The coffee maker was attentive, but the waitresses weren't (the order was written down incorrectly and we had to ask twice if we could order something).

In Haarlem, I ate two club sandwiches on Sunday for €14.50, so you'd expect something decent for that. But NO, it was completely tasteless. It seemed like the staff were working reluctantly. People go out for lunch for the flavor and the good company. Where is the taste sensation?

A lovely cafe with a cozy outdoor area and a beautifully designed interior. The staff is very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. The pulled chicken wrap and the barista bowl were delicious and the portions were really generous for the price. Definitely a recommendation for tourists! We'll be back at the Barista Cafe on our next vacation.

We've been coming here for coffee for a while now. No negative comments at all, but the opening hours could be better. Especially now... the café closes at 3 PM... very strange... because it's the holiday season. A lot of people don't have holidays!

Love this bar! The servers are polite and helpful. Kids friendly: there’s a kids corner with toys and the ambiance is just comfortable for families. The food is authentic and suitable for who is vegetarian. There’s no huge menu but I can tell is really good.

Barista café is a pleasure for the taste. Distinctive dishes and also very tasty. They change the menu regularly and everything is made with love. Also the portions are more than enough. Highly recommended in any branch actually. One downside, the serrano ham was a bit sparse, a little more would have been better.

After 5 minutes I had a delicious cup of coffee, but then had to wait literally an hour and fifteen minutes for half a club sandwich with 8 nacho slices. Really a shame.

Nice tent. Coffee is okay, but don't expect a good coffee machine or good beans. I ordered a sandwich but received 2 slices of bread with cheese in between from the microwave. I asked if this was correct and they said yes. In my opinion, a sandwich is made in a toaster and is crispy. Wasn't edible.

I was walking and exploring the city when my phone died. Luckily, I found this lovely café. The staff there were super nice and let me charge my phone. Plus, I got to enjoy a yummy cappuccino and a slice of tasty toffee nut cake. Big thanks to them!

Crappy tent. Half of the tables were empty, but they were not allowed to put tables together for 4 adults. Were asked to sit among the children. We left immediately and will never come back. Very customer unfriendly. Staff still have a lot to learn. An address to pass by quickly.

Ordered two Caesar salads, 1 vegetarian. Looked nothing like a Caesar salad. Plate of mixed salad with 3 pieces of cucumber and imitation grated Parmesan cheese. Scandalous. Cost 13.50 each. No romaine lettuce, no egg. The non-vegetarian did get a lot of chicken. The vegetarian didn't get a discount, so I didn't tip.

Latte ordered, neatly served at the table, the glass shatters into a thousand pieces due to the heat. Coffee all over my wife's clothes and a cut on her wrist from the glass. The staff kept looking sheepish and if we hadn't said anything they wouldn't have done anything, scandalous! There was not even an apology. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for this service!

Was er al een poos niet meer geweest. Beetje vergane glorie. Stoffering banken en stoelen vies & versleten, plastic planten, vies toilet, echt jammer hoor !

Terwijl ik dit typ zitten we helemaal achterin de zaak. We hebben een prachtig overzicht en kan niets anders zeggen dat het een hele gezellige sfeer heeft.. Zeer vriendelijk personeel (ben geholpen door Mandy) die ons echt leuk geholpen heeft.. Ik kan niets anders zeggen dat we hier zeker nog terug gaan komen en zelfs onze hond mocht mee..

Cappuccino chocolademelk waren heerlijk. Het taartenproeverijtje was schandalig. Een mini kokosmacroontje van 3 cm (geen gebak) en gevuld speculaasbrokje (geen gebak) delen met 2 personen op een klein schaaltje met 2 vorkjes met 2 inniemini gebakspuntjes voor 10 euro is echt schandalig. En zag er ook niet uit. Bovendien samen prikken in 1 gebakje is ook niet fris. Aangegeven bij het personeel maar werd gezegd is het beleid kan er helaas niets aan doen.

Lekkere warme(!) cappuccino. Zeker dat warme is eerder een uitzondering dan regel. Sfeer prima maar tafeltjes staan te dicht op elkaar. Zelf hoef ik het gesprek van mijn buren niet te horen.

Met mijn dochtertje een high tea gedaan. Het eten was goed verzorgd en leuk gepresenteerd op een etagere. Goede en vriendelijke service. Leuk en gezellig ingericht met een speelhoek achterin. Volwassen high tea broodjes waren gevarieerd. De kinder high tea was minder gevarieerd, maar mijn dochter heeft genoten en was onder de indruk van de gevulde etagere: pannenkoek met Nutella en/of poedersuiker, een broodje met weer Nutella en een kaastosti (geen ham helaas). Zoetigheden: cheesecake, carrotcake, kaneel scones en kokosmakronen, spekjes, chocola, caramelblokjes: alles heeft heerlijk gemaakt. Het was best veel, dus hebben wat mee naar huis genomen. Al bij al een goede ervaring tijdens ons eerste bezoek aan Barista Cafe Haarlem.

Found this place by accident, and was definitely pleased. The staff here was very friendly and engaging, and the coffee was amazing!

Ein sehr schöner Ort um einzukehren. Personal ist äußerst freundlich und sprich gut englisch. Man kann draußen Platz nehmen oder innen. Der Innenraum ist modern, hell und freundlich gestaltet. Die Karte lockt mit verschiedenen Kaffeespezialitäten, Tee, Kuchen und Lunchgerichte. Alles ah sehr ansprechend aus. Der Eiskaffee schmeckt hervorragend genauso wie der Latte Macchiato und frische Tee. Als kleine Aufmerksamkeit bekommt man einen Keks dazu.

Fijne plek voor een lekker ontbijtje!
