I like the food and drinks here but getting a cup of coffee takes ages every time, definitely not the place to get something in a rush

Are you thinking of getting coffee, croissants and taking a pee on King's Day? Stach decides to close their toilets for everyone (including customers) on King's Day. A day where it is so difficult for women to just pee. Customer-unfriendly and female-unfriendly.

That girl who worked today (I think with curly hair and short hair) is really antisocial, just completely ignores the customers. Matcha is also not necessarily very tasty for that price

Be warned about the hazelnut and date oat cake. It tastes like it's been out of date for a year, bone dry. When I complained about it to the staff she said 'that's how it's supposed to be, I don't like it myself'... tsssss... you'll never see me here again.

What a cozy sandwich shop in Haarlem on the butter market, delicious cappuccino, delicious sandwiches... tastefully served, and kudos to the staff, and Jack who was allowed to do an internship there, a 10... for his work and service, great, super friendly and a great guy! Bij deze Stach binnengegaan voor 1 thee en 1 koffie. Aanwezig: twee medewerkers achter de toonbank die alleen met elkaar druk waren. Zij kwamen niet verder dan bestelling opnemen (aan de toonbank ) en bestelling op tafel zetten. Kaal glas heet water en los theezakje, geen schoteltje voor theezakje. Er was niet afgeruimd van al lege tafels, tafels niet schoongemaakt, vloer vies, vuilnisbak naast toonbank open en met zwermen fruitvliegjes, toilet ook vol fruitvliegjes en prullenbak vol en half open met papieren handdoeken. Zijn zo snel mogelijk vertrokken na drankjes half opgedronken te hebben. Medewerkers bleven onverstoord samen doorkletsen. Zeker geen aanbeveling waard.

No service. Not a little sweet with the coffee. The order was just not delivered to the table. Too many fruit flies during a cold October... not recommended. Chain that isn't doing its best

Wat een heerlijke chocomelk! Het broodje van Ron Blauw is ook een aanrader, kip is lekker gekruid, op een knapperig broodje. De bediening is vriendelijk, kortom een prima plek midden in de stad om even te onthaasten.

Stach in Haarlem is a cozy and unpretentious spot with great coffee and excellent service. It’s probably the closest thing you’ll find to a specialty café after 5 pm when most places around here close and leave you with only breweries selling coffee. The place isn’t super “aesthetic” but has a colorful and warm vibe. No latte art, but the coffee is delicious, and the pan au chocolat was on point. The market inside adds to its charm, offering more than just a café experience, though it does take away from a purely aesthetic vibe. Still, the relaxed music and wide hours make this a spot you’ll want to return to often!

What bastards!!! Ordered a cheese sandwich with extra pickles and a truffle meatball sandwich. The cheese sandwich had Barely any cheese in it and the pickles were forgotten. In addition, the truffle meatball sandwich had no truffle sauce. And you have to wait 40 minutes for that... seriously, what incompetent people you employ. Never order here again.

Very long wait! For an expensive takeaway coffee, the staff will happily make you wait more than 20 minutes, which is simply not acceptable. Yes, it can be busy, but please indicate this immediately when ordering "it will take a long time" so that a customer can make the choice to get something elsewhere. Now we had to wait an excruciatingly long time and staff who clearly could not cope with the crowds and were working facing a storm. Maybe close the collection desk?

Sandwhiches are avaliable from 8:30 to 16. This chain is the definition of gentrification in a bad way. It was pricey around 2018 already and the products are always artisan which seems to try and justify the prices. They had good truffle chips(crisps) for but those would also cost you an arm and a leg. I had 2 sandwhiches and a chocolate protein drink which costs you 22,40. Fyi the sandwhiches are small.

In Haarlem stießen wir zufällig auf das SB -Cafe Stach, das einige Backwaren und ordentliche Cappucini anbot, mit denen man den Tag beginnen konnte. Eine gute Wahl

Experience depends on the day. Don't come here on a weekend. They need to improve on hygiene. Toilet floor was wet and dirty. Some supplies were lying a few metres away from the toilet. The biscuits they hand over to customers for free were touched multiple times by the same hands that touched the cashier counter. Train the employees to know how to multi task and maintain cleanliness.

Finding goodies for your cup of coffee will be a challenge! Everything granola, oats and that's not even including a nice cup of tea! Only Yogi tea and I asked for black tea. Special feature: everything is served on and in disposable material. The waste mountain is grateful to you. Friendly employees.

Staff is very friendly and coffee and sandwiches are of good quality. Sometimes during peak times it can all take a little longer, but you can't blame the staff if they sometimes only have 2 or 3 people working. The business itself feels like a cozy living room, which is a great location to study or to have lunch or a cup of coffee with friends. Highly recommended!

Sit down at a table. Nobody looked at me. After ten minutes I ordered at the counter. Another ten minutes and many new customers, who were helped, later asked if I could have my order. With a faint nod, my cup of coffee was finally made. Luckily it tasted great. Just like the oatmeal cookie.

Desserts are so good. Service is good. But chairs are not comfortable

Things are going slowly there. Wait 20 minutes for a cafe latte and an Ice Cafe. Couple of schoolchildren who work there. I know better coffee shops. Too bad that all businesses at the Butter Market were closed on Boxing Day and then there was the price. Small Latte. And small ice café €10

To me it feels like a cozy living room, a coffee moment with a book or meeting friends for lunch. You can work flexibly, there is always a relaxed atmosphere and nice staff. In any case, outside is a nice spot to sit, especially when there is a market (Wednesday/Saturday). Been coming there for years!

Cappuccino viel erg tegen. Waar is het schuim?! Wortelcake was voor mij te spicy, maar dat is een kwestie van smaak. De Meiden waren vriendelijk en doen hun best. Er werd ook vaak geroepen door de tent. Ondanks de vriendelijke meiden, ga ik voortaan toch ergens anders heen.

Vooral de openingstijden kloppen niet. Soms later open en vaak veel eerder dicht.

I love this place as it has such good food. The cafe in Haarlem is a bit small so if you have big strollers it needs to be folded up or even left outside.

Vriendelijke bediening, leuk koffiezaakje met broodjes en zoetigheden. Wel behoorlijk aan de prijs, maar dan wel midden in het centrum.

Mijn favoriete plekje in Haarlem voor een heerlijke chai tea latte met een stukje bananenbrood. Personeel ook altijd vriendelijk! En de broodjes zijn trouwens ook lekker!

For here or to go - you'll like what you get although a bit overpriced. Coffee is good and so are the snacks. Don't fall for the health claim, that's quite arbitrary. Just enjoy 👍🏼

Vijfentwintig minuten gewacht op een broodje kaas to go, op een maandagmiddag. Eén personeelslid op zo’n 15 klanten is niet genoeg… Het broodje zelf smaakte gelukkig goed.

Just a regular cafe in the center of Haarlem. They have tasty cookies, though they didn’t seem fresh. All in all, a great cafe woth a nice atmosphere.

I am a fan of their vegan milk coffee here. If you like strong coffee do asked for double shot espresso. Service is quick which is a plus point for me as I have no patience for long queue or ordering time.

The sandwiches are really tasty there, which is why I keep coming back, but apart from that I always have a negative feeling. The staff are dismissive, borderline rude and act like they really don't want to be there, so I always feel like I'm inconveniencing them when I order. The service is notoriously really slow (all Stach places I've been to, not just in Haarlem), if you have at least 1-2 people before you in line you know it will take ages. I think that's because often the person taking orders is also the person making the coffee, so they have to keep going back and forth. Not really well organised and very poor customer relations. Edit 25/09/2022: gave them another chance, sit in this time, they completely forgot our order and were serving everyone else who came way after us until I went up to ask

Ganz nach meinem Geschmack. Süßes u salziges Gebäck, sowie leckere Kaffeespezialitäten, aufmerksame Bedienung u einfach nur 3 Bänke vor dem Geschäft zum rumlungern. Im Innenbereich gibt es ca. 3 Tische, sowie eine Gästetoilette.

Lekkere broodjes, leuk tentje, wel aan de prijs. Jammer dat er altijd zwervers en hangjongeren op de hun bankjes zitten en klanten niet kunnen zitten om hun broodje op te eten.

Stach has the best chocolate bars. Their sandwiches are especially good, try the smashed avocado (vegan). They sell a variety of drinks, teas, cbd drinks, kombucha, wines, beer, etc.

Leuk tentje, maar de prijzen beginnen uit de hand te lopen. Bijna 8 euro voor een kokoscappucino en plakje bananencake. Gekkenwerk. De cappucino was ook niet geweldig, ik ga de volgende keer een deurtje verder.

Wat een leuke verrassing dit zaakje! Wij hadden een heerlijke lunch voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. Ook het vegan aanbod is groot. Vriendelijk personeel. Absoluut een aanrader.

Op de kop van de Botermarkt gelegen, kan hier heerlijke broodjes kopen ook met lekker brood. Uitstekende service. Zal bij volgend bezeoek aan Haarlem hier zeker terug komen.

Situado en la esquina, justo en la plaza del mercado, fue una joya de hallazgo. Una gran variedad de comida fresca y saludable. Una amplia gama de opciones vegetarianas (que fue un hallazgo bienvenido para mi esposa). Puedes comer o llevar. Ordene y pague en el mostrador y la comida se sirve en su mesa. Muy agradable, acogedor personal. Solo había unas pocas mesas adentro, pero también había mesas afuera. En el momento de nuestra visita, el mercado estaba encendido y la zona tenía un gran ajetreo, a pesar de que Stach era un santuario tranquilo. La decoración es de pisos de madera natural y las paredes son de colores pastel pálidos. En general, este fue un gran lugar para una parada de comida y café durante un ajetreado día de compras. Sin duda volveríamos de nuevo si en la zona (o si se trata de una de una cadena, lo buscaríamos). Buena comida, buen servicio.
