Insanely good Indo food, all the ingredients of the rijsttafels are absolutely fantastic, from the rendang to the chicken satay to the bami, everything is top-notch. So glad I live 100 meters from here.

My girlfriend came home with dinner today. I'm Indo myself and always wonder if a Asian restaurant has good food. I have to say, the food was really good!!! The vegetables were still nice and crunchy. The babi ketjap and rendang were simply excellent. Very tender. Lemper was also very good.

Mediocre food, doesn't come close to real Indonesian cuisine. With a little help from a cookbook you can make it better yourself.

Reasonable Indonesian food, misses the famous Indonesian taste, richness and freshness. The nice staff and atmosphere compensate a lot.

I ordered gado gado salad 🥗 and ate inside. If you choose warm food, they heat it up with a microwave and serve it . The salad is very tasty and people are very friendly. I ordered café latte together, the quality of coffee is not good as food.

Best bakso i ever eat in Europe. The owner and staffs are very friendly. Prices are reasonable for Amsterdam. Definitely will come back.

A small Indonesian restaurant that serves as a remedy for homesickness. I’m Indonesian and this is one of the best Indonesian food I’ve ever tasted in Europe! The taste of every meal is delicious, the price is fair, and the owner, Bayu, and also the employees, take their time to talk to the customers and provide a warm feeling that complements the authentic taste of the food.

Indonesian comfort food. Great food, packed with flavorful spices. Good value combos (rice/noodles with 2 veggies, 2 proteins, acar) and snacks (generous fillings and super tasty). Friendly service and homey ambience.

Thank you for your response, but we actually ordered normal (and not children's) lunch dishes... ——————————— Small portions for too high a price. 10 euros for a small scoop of chicken, small scoop of vegetables and a little noodles. It was tasty, but not very special and it could just be a bit more generous. It was meager for lunch. The Soto ayam was tasty but also cost 10 euros!! There are much better and cheaper places in town. Very nice lady at the counter! And cozy atmosphere.

Insufficient portions, 16 euros per person (two vegetables, one beef and one chicken) Of course the service is no problem. But it is absolutely incomprehensible that an extra 2 euros will be charged for swiping the card! Not recommended at all!

Nous avons été très surpris par ce restaurant trouvé complètement par hasard en cherchant où dîner avant un spectacle. Il paraît tout petit caché entre 2 boutiques et pourtant il en vaut vraiment le coup. La nourriture était absolument délicieuse! J'étais accompagnée d'un ami qui a vécu en Indonésie et il était lui-même étonné de la qualité des plats. Nous y sommes passés tôt, du coup le restaurant était vide mais le patron très charmant et sympathique nous a fait nous sentir comme à la maison. En tous cas on s'est régalés et sans se ruiner. Une très belle découverte, merci beaucoup !

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit ein paar Tische innen und außen. Das Gado-Gado war einfach herrlich und hat uns an unsere Flitterwochen in Indonesien erinnert. Die Besitzerin ist auch wahnsinnig nett und liebenswürdig. Man merkt, dass es sich um ein Restaurant mit Herz handelt. Bei einem nächsten Amsterdambesuch kommen wir wieder! Und wäre toll, wenn sie die hausgemachte Gadosauce versenden würden.

I feel like I‘ve died and gone to heaven: the food is extraordinary, so delicious!!! you can sit really cute in the restaurant or on the street and the people working there are really incredibly nice and originally from Indonesia as well! A whole menu for 9€! would really recommend - couldn’t be happier. Amazing vegetarian options!!!

The food is hit and miss. Pre-made and then microwaved. I think for the price it’s a bit low quality so not great value for money. The service is very friendly except for (I assume) the owner who walks around drunkenly with a glass of rose complaining about customers

Cibo indonesiano gustosissimo. Locale semplice ma accogliente, possibilità di ricaricare a ogni tavolino. Tavolini anche all'aperto.

Just finished eating our take-away from Bayu and felt compelled to write about how delicious it was! Tasty, spicy, authentic food that was served with a smile from a very friendly lady. Highlights were the beef rendang and the spicy bamboo. Wish we weren't just visiting so we could come here all the time.

Inviting, friendly and a big selection of homemade dishes to enjoy in a cozy atmosphere. Will come again!

Wat een leuke plek. Bakje koffie( met de lekkerste spekkoek ever )gedaan en ondertussen werd ons eten bereid wat we later thuis hebben opgewarmd. En dat was de lekkerste GadoGado en rijsttafel die ik ooit gegeten heb🥰 Lieve mensen ook. Als ik nog eens in A' dam ben kom ik zeker weer langs. De moeite waard.

Heerlijk eten en ontzettend Lieve mensen. Het is echt de moeite waard om hier even langs te komen!!! Indonesisch eten is heerlijk...

The clearly exists because of love for the food they serve; but also for the love of making the ones who eat it feel happy and well treated! Prachtig bedrijf met heerlijke gerechten uit de Indonesische keuken! De eigenaar is er een met passie voor zijn keuken en waardering voor zijn klanten. Uniek! Dat maak je niet vaak meer mee. Bayu, chapeau en ga vooral zo door! Echt top!!!

My favorite meal in Amsterdam! Everything (from the different chicken preparations, to the side veggies) was outstandingly delicious! The lady at the counter was very polite and hospitable… would definitely return on future visits to Amsterdam!

De lekkerste loempies ooit hier gegeten! Niet die ‘nep’ knapperige korst, maar echte homemade, mhhh

The Reistafel was very good and tasted like home food. We also had snacks like lemper and spekkoek which are also good. Soto ayam tasted a bit bland and rendang was a bit dry. However, Mas Bayu and everyone were very nice. We will come next time when we visit Amsterdam again and hopefully soto ayam will taste better ;)

Heerlijk eten. Heel autentiek indonesisch. Zeer vriendelijke mensen, zowel eigenaar, kok als 'bediende'. Al na de eerste keer dat ik daar kwam werd ik op straat herkend. Persoonlijk contact.

Me preguntaba dónde cenar en la noche de Ajax - Spurs semis. Me topé con este conjunto no muy lejos de mi conjunto Airbnb. Tenía rendang de carne, nasi goreng y una preparación de espinacas. El servicio fue bueno. Alrededor de 11 € por el plato. Propietario hablador, si te gusta una conversación.
