I think this is a very good Indonesian restaurant in Amsterdam. The prices are cheap compared to other restaurants. The food is delicious. I recommend the soto ayam and ketoprak. The owner is also friendly and nice. Must try!

The food taste really good. If you like veggie, i will definietly recommend ketoprak. The soto soup taste also good. The taste of the food they sell there is authentic. The price also understanable. You can get a really good meal for under 10 euros.

This was the best Indonesian food we’ve had in all of Amsterdam. The pricing was just right and as opposed to other restaurants, you’re able to choose which vegetables and meats you want instead of having a set menu. Additionally, they stack the plate full so you definitely get your moneys worth. Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone

We weren't honest with the price from the start, we weren't allowed to buy a la carte and we were required to buy a package that we didn't want. The food is also just ordinary.

Delicious dutch Indonesian food! This takeout/restaurant offers all the classics, all made my the lovely ladies working behind the counter. The portions are also very big so getting a menu here will definitely fill you up. I highly recommend checking them out.

While the Rujak Cingu was good, the Bakso soup and the Nasi rawon were extremely salty. The beef in the Rawon was tender and flavorful, but the broth was very very salty. I was shocked to see everyone else eating normally. The very nice owner offered extra soup when I mentioned the Bakso was too salty, but the extra soup was salty too! And also tasted very strongly of msg. I have no problem with msg, only when that's the only thing you taste. Then chendol was good if not a bit too sweet. Maybe the other dishes were fine like the Rujak, but the soups were just puzzlingly inedibly salty.

Pay a lot and then you get a three-compartment container with little nasi and meat and vegetables. Go to the other store in the same street, they are much more generous and I pay exactly the same.

Very tasty food, friendly staff. There are some tables, but the focus is take out. Loved the bakso, martabak asin and sate kambing. Also the cendol was on point, loved it! We will definitely be coming back for more!

The restaurant on Google is open until 8pm, we arrived at 6.30pm and were asked impatiently by a young woman if we would dine in or take away, I said dine in and she said she didn't have enough time. I said I'd finish it quickly and the "non-smiling" lady went off to serve someone else without comment and didn't say another word to us for the ten minutes we waited. Then came an older lady who asked us what we wanted to eat, a little more amiable than the one before but still with a bitter expression, and after learning that we were going to eat inside the restaurant she said that it closed at seven today, and it dawned on us why we were short of time. We were made to wait fifteen minutes for something that could have been explained in one sentence. Also I really don't like this kind of bitter service attitude, it affects my mood of eating.

Feels like a family-run place, it’s small with a few seats. The food is authentic home cooked, very delicious and affordable! We had to wait awhile for the food but only because there were so many people coming in and out. It’s popular with locals.

Overpriced for the portions you get... lady coughs into her hands and then continues working without washing her hands, after putting on a face mask. I had difficulty reheating both plates of food because it was still cold. I asked with shame for some more noodles after the last little leftovers for my plate were scraped together from the display case. Full portions are served to their own friends/family 😅?

We really appreciate this place, but unfortunately we have had an "instant" stomach ache a few times, within half an hour of eating. While we always order the same thing (vegetarian rames and normal rames with 2 types of chicken). The last time everything was floating in oil. We weren't used to that. I also experienced twice (on the hottest days) that the noodles smelled rotten. That's why we no longer pick up on the hottest days anyway. I waited a long time to post this review because this has been my favorite for a long time and I think the ladies are super nice. We'll try again someday, but for now we don't dare anymore.

Boontjes slap.Bakje zuur€4,=,flauw,friszurige smaak ontbrak totaal.Dame achter de toonbank heeft geen affiniteit met de gerechten,wist de meeste niet te benoemen.Twee lempers er bij.Totaal €47,50. Prijs kwaliteit niet ok. Niet eens een beetje kroepoek er bij.

We were looking to try some authentic Indonesian food, so we decided to try Warung Barokah for the first time. Upon arrival at the restaurant we had to wait 10-15min before we could order. Weirdly the staff helps and serves their own Indonesian acquaintances first with a bigger portion even though many of them arrived after us and ordered the same bakso soup. We didn’t mind much, since we had time. When we got our soups, half way of eating it I found a dead big black fly in the bottom of my bowl! There was no way of finding the fly beforehand since the noodles and beef balls were floating on top. We got disgusted by it and told the waitress about it quietly, not in front of the customers. The lady reacted totally indifferently and disingenuously. She even had the audacity to ask us to pay for the other soup with no fly in it and regarded the one with a fly as “free”. Never in my life have I encountered such bad service! To the owners, no need to contact me for a compensation as I won’t ever visit your restaurant again after this incident. Please recheck your kitchen hygiene and train your staff properly regarding customer service.

Everything is good, but one tip. Make your satay just like a real Indonesian. Make the satay thinner just like in Jalan Sabang. The satay in the Dutch is horribly devastatingly dirty. It no longer makes the chicken tender. Make your Indonesia proud. NOT WITH THIS DIRTY THICK BIG UNTENDER DUTCH CHICKEN PLEASE.

When the food came out it smelled a bit sour and I thought maybe it’s the sauce of something. But I woke up today and my tummy is gassy and a bit painful. I think not so fresh food.

If you're in Amsterdam, don't miss out on this place! They serve delicious Indonesian food 🫶🏼🫶🏼. As someone who was really craving bakso, eating here was incredibly satisfying. The taste is unbeatable; you should try it! Ibu owner is incredibly kind and friendly; we chatted, took selfies together, and she even treated me to some gorengan while dining in, and gave us a pack of fried banana to take away (for free). It's a heartwarming experience!

You can not miss this place, while you are in Amsterdam. I personally recommend Rujak Cingur, a kind of fruit and vegetable salad with baked meat, but maybe any item in menu will be more as perfect. The owner is kind and professional, the food she makes is authentic and extra-tasty. You need some luck to get a place to sit, but you can also take the stuff home.

Nice little restaurant. Foods are authentic Indonesian. Owner is also friendly. The only reason for 3 stars is because the place is super small with only 2 tables. It feels like sauna when it's busy. Also it feels like you cant enjoy the food since you have to eat fast for the next customer.

Yesterday I stopped by for a package of mixed mixed rice and happened to order a meatless menu and there was absolutely no protest! Everything is delicious! The most important thing is how customers can experience extraordinarily friendly and communicative service, which I rarely encounter in Indonesian restaurants abroad (where the service is usually not friendly). Who misses having their mother wrap or cook food at home, please stop by here, guaranteed not to be disappointed.

Nice staff, hospitable and much homemade. No alcohol is served/sold, so an oriental beer is not included. Try the real coconut milk, delicious with a mouth burn 😎

Always a nice place to have an authentic Indonesian food. It is recommended to book in advance because the space is not so big and it's always packed with customers. You can have a take-out as well, but still the best menus are the dine-in ones. Freshly made soup like Bakso or Soto, Pempek, or Ketoprak. The owner and staffs are very friendly as well. Feels like you're eating at your home.

Ein sehr kleines Restaurant, das sich eher für Speisen zum Mitnehmen eignet. Insgesamt habe ich drei Gerichte probiert, einfach ein Geschmackserlebnis. Ich empfehle vor allem die Gerichte mit der "secret sauce". Teilweise sehr scharf, was mir sehr entgegenkommt. Dass Indonesier dort essen gehen, zeigt, dass es wirklich authentisch ist.
