Great place, driven by the latest reviews we went to this cafe and tasted the acai bowl on the server's recommendation, it was delicious, a pleasant moment to start the day, a treat

Never again....He has absolutely no clue...this business is only allowed to sell bags of coffee, and not to operate any catering business at all. He doesn't even have a permit for that. I'm going to report this to the municipal licensing authority and the KHN (Royal Dutch Hospitality Association).

Great little cafe to watch the world go by. We just ordered a couple of lattes and sat out the front. Staff were friendly and polite. Brought the coffees to us while we sat out the front and watched everyone riding their bikes.

As a local I come here every weekend. The three guys working here have made this coffeebar/lunch place a living room for the neighborhood. It’s a friendly, calm and colorful spot (very queer friendly) with great coffee and a small chat. Super recommend.

A large soy coffee which cost €5.40 was burnt and undrinkable. I’d love to support new places opening up in West, but that is an insane amount to charge for a coffee, even in this city.

Honestly the best açaí bowl in Amsterdam! And I have tried many. My family and I love this cafe and are regular visitors here. As well as an incredible açaí bowl, the coffee is great and they have a really good range of gelato with generous serves. This is the only place we go for ice-cream on a warm day!

The best smoothies in town! You have to try the Hawaiian — it’s the perfect balance of sweet and sour. And don’t miss the fresh Brazilian cheese bread (pão de queijo) — absolutely amazing!

This place is quite cute for a lil' corner cafe and they're warm and welcoming, you should definitely give it a try,not far from the city hustle but quiet still! Decent!

Nice corner cafe with quite a lot of healthy food options. The waiters are also super friendly. My friend have the bowl and it looks good and delicious. Some of us ordered the Natas and it was definitely worth the wait. It was freshly came out from oven and so creamy and delicious.

Super sweet owner and delicious coffee. The sandwiches and juices are also highly recommended.

Unfortunately! Bouncer without bread was very complicated...don't forget to melt the cheese...don't forget the yolks, ham, not cooked, served on a cold plate. Colleague also served a bouncer on brown bread instead of white bread, the cheese had melted on the bread, the yolks were not fried instead of running and everything was lukewarm! Cheese was melted separately and left to stand. Salad was tasty tea and coffee were good! So unfortunately I can't leave any rave reviews... they didn't ask for it without bread, it was also without cheese even though I ordered a ham cheese spread. Shame! We won't be coming back here again!

Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. I ordered via Uber Eats. The only item I'd consider ordering again is the pastel de nata. It was nice, though I’d prefer an option without cinnamon. The pão de queijo was just okay. Despite being their specialty, I’ve had much better elsewhere in town. The coxinha wasn’t worth the calories—it seemed baked rather than fried, and the chicken seasoning was quite different from the Brazilian standard. The sandwiches were also just okay. Given that they're a Dutch tradition, I’d say they’re below average for this price range compared to other places in town. I'd rather go to Albert Heijn and build one myself than ordering again.

There’s no better place than Benditos cafe in the whole area. I live almost straight across and regularly come here to get a coffee or something more. Everything is well prepared and the owner is a wonderful man full with positive energy. Staff is very friendly and amicable and the atmosphere is - being made up with different styles of furniture - remarkably relaxing and well set up. Absolute advice. Food is very good and no small portions for big prices! Advisable for carnivores, as well as vegetarians and vegans. All varieties are well made and well balanced. Always freshly prepared. This place is best place in the far surroundings.

Was here with a friend. Straight after the last drop of coffee was consumed the staff asked me to buy another or to leave in order to make way for customers waiting for a table. If you desire to sit somewhere for longer than 10 minutes i would not recommend. Coffee is just ok. As there are plenty of coffee places in the area i would not recommend this place at all.

Nice place with simple but very tasty food. Love the açaí bowl and the Asian Tuna sandwich. The cheese bread needs improvement, but I don't order it often.

Read that it was the best açai bowl outside Brazil in a review. Well, it’s just fine- yet not special. Fruit is fresh, granola is good. Proportions and looks could be better. I probably will get it somewhere else. If you wonder what special toppings are: Nutella and peanut butter are really not my thing or the healthy aspect I expect from acai bowls.

The owner was super lovely and made us really good coffee! We ordered 'Clockwork Orange' smoothie and it was really filling and healthy tasting (in the best way). When ordering a sandwitch I chose the 'Brielicious' because it looked the smallest and very minimal, but it turned out to be actually really big and perfect tasting! The bread tasted so so fresh and went perfectly with the brie and honey-mustard dressing. The walnuts and rucola made it even better! The best sandwitch I've ever had, love to the café! And they also served ice cream which was the best we've ever tasted, so pure taste! Will forever remember the place and people with love! If we were locals, we'd visit it all the time. The prices were worth the quality!

EDIT: Just see the establishment's response. This gentleman must think that the world revolves around him. No colleague, I am one of several Brazilians who immigrated for work and know the value of money. Very pretentious of you to name your establishment in Portuguese and sell Brazilian products. Improve! I went to this place with high expectations, especially because it was a place with some Brazilian food in West. For ~10 euros, I expected more for the açaí bowl: a lot of guarana syrup and banana taste. The açaí only came in color :( The bow from Tapi n'Bows (De Pijp) costs the same price, although it comes in less, it is of better quality. Several Albert Heijns sell pure açaí (250ml) for 5 euros and can be easily prepared at home. It's still the best option. The cheese bread is relatively ok for the price to accompany it with coffee, but nothing very special. The best cheese bread in Amsterdam is still Little Brazil in the center. What disappointed me most was the service. The man who served us was quite rude and rude, the most serious thing is that this man apparently is the manager of the place (a person who should be an example in the establishment). Brazilian hospitality and food will only be remembered in this place. To this gentleman: you should visit any other Brazilian food place, maybe then you will realize how out of standard their service and products are. I don't recommend it.

Best acai bowl ive had outside brazil, not extremely sweet, no sugars added tastes like the real thing, croissant was good too crunchy as it should. Juices were excellent as well we took acerola and beeroot ( this is real fruit and vegetables blended bc they need to cut through the straw to get the fiber to pass through) so refreshing on a hot day to sit outside

The shop owner is incredibly kind, charismatic, and generous. And the gelato is amazing!

This is my regular coffee place. My best friend and I go about once to twice a week and love it. Coffee is great, açaí bowls are delicious, prices are fair for Amsterdam standards! But most importantly, everyone working day is always super friendly 🍀 I even get to store my bike battery there when needed ;)

In a cafe full of Brazilian food, I expected a place with good food and service. But what I faced was extremely rude service. According to them, everybody on the table needs to order something, otherwise, you will be kicked out.(p.s: the place was empty, so a lot of places for people to sit if needed). It was really rude. I will never go back to that place again and I will make sure none of my friends go through what I went through.

Nice shop, nice people and good prices. So here you have a good açaí bowl with lots of toppings for 10 euros. What can be done better? Maybe they can make the granola themselves or add a peanut butter option. Otherwise totally fun. 5 stars.

Very laid back atmosphere. The owner is a great guy. Very helpfull and fully engaged with his customers. The prices are ok, not too expensive. The coffee is great with lots of variety. And they also have pokebowls and artifical ice cream. Skip the Starbucks and get coffee at your locals establishments!

Super chai latte! And thank you so much for your kindness. I brought my own cup for the chai. But it seemed that my cup was smaller than the size of the take away cup. The person noticed it, told me and kindly gave me the extra that was not fitting in my own cup :)

Nice ambient in a living room style with a good assortment of high quality veggie Joghurt bowls and smoothies. You feel like falling into your sofa with Hispanic music in the background and nice service.

Had a nice cup of coffee. Relaxed in 2 relaxing chairs. You'd fall asleep in no time. Much better than those big chains. The staff is super friendly and you are served quickly and correctly.

Arrived in Amsterdam after super long trip and it was rainy. After we had lunch, Bendito was all we were looking for. It was the best place to get some coffee and snacks at super reasonable prices. The place is ideal to take a quick rest, tables/chairs/sofas are really comfortable. The staff is really friendly while giving you the space needed. I loved the chill atmosphere in the shop, would totally recommend it for studying or working as well

I came with my girlfriend who is Austrian, I finally managed to present an original Brazilian açaí, a delicious cheese bread and they even had guaraná! So far the best coffee in Amsterdam, our experience was excellent and the service was impeccable! Totally recommended and fair prices! It reminded me of the comfort of my home. Very kind and thank you very much! We will definitely be back!

Beste Açaì die ik in Amsterdam heb gegeten en ik heb er heel wat uitgeprobeerd. Persoonlijke en gastvrije service (is helaas bijzonder tegenwoordig in Amsterdamse koffietentjes). Koffie was ook top. Pastel de nata was ook heerlijk vers, krokant, warm. Gewoon een heerlijk down-to-earth tentje met heerlijke dingen. Oh ja- WiFi is ook top (bonus). Ik ga nergens anders meer Acai halen! Tot snel!

Fijne huiskamersfeer met personeel die echt aandacht voor je heeft. Zal onderuit met een krantje/tijdschrift en een heerlijke koffie en wat lekkers. Wij zitten hier iedere week te genieten!

De lekkerste shakes en cappuccino met havermelk. Zeer vriendelijke mensen en als je iets wilt aanpassen dan staan ze er open voor. Zo wil ik graag mijn açaí shake minder zoet van de appelsap. Nee er zit geen suiker in hun Shake, alleen vind ik persoonlijk appelsap wat zoet. Aanpassen was geen enkel probleem! Aanwinst voor de buurt.
