Concerto Koffie in Grachtengordel-Zuid

Great little place! It's actually pretty much the same concept I've always had in mind, what I'd like to have as a shop. Several buildings connected together with lots of records, CDs, DVDs, posters, and more, plus a small café area. Nice to sit down or get takeout. It was also well-attended. What I found a shame is that between all the tables, which there aren't that many, there's a table with DVDs, for example, so while you're having coffee/food and chatting, there are constantly people next to you searching for things from the bins. In addition, people are regularly waiting and searching for a table because there apparently aren't enough for the demand. Another thing I found a shame is that the restroom is very vague. There's a door handle with a code that you have to ask the staff elsewhere, after which they seem a bit hysterical about you closing the door, as if no one is allowed to use the restroom. Even though they've put up a sign saying the restroom is upstairs. A bit unusual. The coffee was very good, though, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the interior and the staff behind the bar. I don't think I'd sit down again anytime soon, and I wouldn't be tempted to buy takeout for the price of coffee, unless, for example, the upstairs section were to become a separate café with a separate restroom, combined with the records, CDs, DVDs, etc. on the ground floor and the other rooms. For me, it's a bit unsettling, vague, and expensive.

The store part of Concerto is great and it also bring a cool vibe into the cafe part of it, with the discs, VHS tapes, and colours surrounding the tables. However, the fact that the cafe part of Concerto does still function as a store makes it a bit uncomfortable in that cramped up space. You can be sitting with your coffee and food upstairs and people will be hovering very close to you, looking at CDs. If the delimitation would be clearer between shop and cafe I'd give it 5 stars! The staff is amazing and the hot chocolate and kimchi tosti were also very tasty!

It's such a shame they refuse to release the Amsterdam 750th Anniversary album on CD. Not everyone has the space to own vinyl records.

Very nice coffee spot, very cozy, and the latte was perfect. Friendly waitress too. The ideal place for CD/Vinyl/Cassette/DVD enthusiasts. I recommend it.

Coffee place in a retro style. Would be great for people who is into coffee, old movies/books/music. I however didn’t enjoy the atmosphere because of those second hand vibes. Not my peace of cake. Talking about desserts, their sweets are good, nothing special though. Same can be said about coffee. Overall I can recommend the place, especially when you’re looking for some retro.

Don't order the special tea because it is hot water with mint. The waitress was very unpleasant and unfriendly.

Racist waitress. I ordered the “special tea” and received a glass of hot water with mint inside. When I asked for a tea bag, she refused and said “maybe you are in the wrong country”. Disgraceful.

Beautiful store for music lovers. There is a huge space dedicated to new and used vinyl at truly affordable prices. I would spend a whole day there.

OOO!!! “I saw it, and my mind was clouded.” I’ve probably never seen such a quantity of vinyl and such a selection. I walked in and naturally my legs gave way and I started drooling. If you're a vinyl record lover and have the ability to carry them...keep your pocket wider. I recommend spending an hour and a half on this store. Prices are below average, almost everything is available, even what you thought was rare. Analogue Production and Tone Poet on sale for €19.95, what do you think? There are also UHQR and boxsets... mountains. Mom dear. In Google Maps THIS is listed as a coffee shop. What a “coffee shop”, 500 square meters of vinyl... was there coffee there too?:)

Excellent space to enjoy a good coffee and rediscover music and memories from your past. Every corner of this store has its own atmosphere. Recommended!

Be surprised with an in-store from the Nits while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. Just for a normal price, no tourists shelling out money for Concerto. Of course my passion for music is also fueled, I can spend hours going through the record bins there and buying some nice LPs. Only had a cappuccino, so I can't rate the food.

Perfect place to grab a coffee after browsing the selection of vinyl, cds, books, or dvds. The seating area is nestled with the books and dvds and it's fun to read the shelves while you have a coffee.

You can get a nice cup of coffee with a cookie or pastry after shopping in Concerto. It's nice and cozy and occasionally artists come to perform and you can get an autograph there.

Huge colletion of both new and used cd's and vinyl. Biggest selection in Amsterdam I've seen. Prices are reasonable, leaning towards the higher side, but for me it's acceptable for a store with this variety. Recommend.

Parada obligada para los melómanos en Amsterdam. Una tienda de esas a la antigua usanza, con un montón de empleados y mucho movimiento , de las que apenas quedan en las grandes ciudades. Impresionante oferta de vinilos nuevos (a precios en la línea europea) y también amplia oferta de discos de segunda mano. Además tienen una amplia variedad de discos en oferta a precios muy buenos. También había amplia oferta de CD's nuevos, aunque el precio de estos me ha parecido más elevado de lo habitual. Yo me he centrado básicamente en su oferta de rock y heavy metal y había material para aburrir. No dejaré de ir la próxima vez que pise Amsterdam.

Zoek je een plaatje? Op naar Concerto. Ik kwam daar al meer dan 40 jaar geleden. Nog steeds een top zaak. Afgelopen weekend cadeautje gekocht verzamelaar van ABBA iemand gelukkig mee gemaakt!!

本、CD、レコードを売っているショップ内にあるカフェ。 午後をゆっくり本選びやレコード選びに費やしたい人にはもってこい＆店内も落ち着いた雰囲気です。 ランチメニューもお昼時にはありますが可もなく不可もなくというところのため星３つにしました。

Best Record Store in Amsterdam!

Pleasant place. Cool store with so much vinyl and DVD's. My cappuccino lacked foam and coffee taste was diluted by too much milk. My wife's cappuccino was much better. Difference between the first cup and the second cup from the same foam jug.

Five stars for the large selection of LPs and CDs in this must see temple for music lovers of every kind. Here you can find tons of musical books and musical newspapers too. You can ask for listening some track, and chat for some question. They are always very gentle. And there's a lounge zone for food and drink and live music meet and greets. What else you need music addicted? It was 1995 when i came to A'dam for the first time, and this was the best recordshop in town. Now, in 2020, this remains the best, and the others good places closed the door year by year. Now there's a few little realities, and some specific shop for specific genre. But this is the place to pass hours and hours browsing vinyl and CD's. The old friends at the desk are always ready to help, and the young girl too is very very prepared and helpful. Great work!
