Amazing coffee and very friendly staff

I stopped by this café to have a matcha. I liked the atmosphere of the place, and the staff was very friendly. My matcha latte was prepared quite quickly, and the matcha itself was quite good. Overall, I’m satisfied

The weekend shift did not have their shit together. While I was ordering, one of the employers hopped on a stool behind me and started videocalling super loud in Spanish (or something similar). Very disturbing and unprofessional, even handing the phone to the guy making the coffee. As customer, I do not want to hear your private conversation's when you are at your work. Even when you are on a break, videocalling in a tiny space like this cafe, with this volume is very much a nuisance. Normally I don't come on weekends and I think the guy who is there on weekdays is super sweet and customer friendly. I also really love the coffee so I will be coming back, but please teach your personnel to take their private time in the back, or to at least wear headphones when being on the phone. (Video)calling in public on speaker is rude and disturbing, especially when you're at your work.

We ordered two tapioca wraps and two smoothies at the counter and then sat down. The only employee present seemed very dry. Meanwhile, she chatted with another employee who had delivered supplies and then talked on the phone while they were clearing everything away. After about 10 minutes, we asked if she hadn't forgotten our order, and she reacted very irritatedly, saying it was being prepared. It took almost half an hour before we finally received the wraps, and unfortunately, they didn't taste good either. They weren't the good tapioca wraps we're used to; the texture of the wraps was soft, they broke easily, and they were very bland. We wouldn't be returning.

I go here frequently to get a coffee, beans or a tapioca, which are all great. It's not a place I prefer to relax wjth a coffee or meet someone, but its not like Buno has a choice when it comes to size and location once there.

We loved this cafe; we went every morning while we were in Amsterdam on vacation. They have a varied menu, and the things we tried didn't disappoint. I especially loved the Chai latte; I'll miss it 🥲

I had their flat white coffee today and as a nitpicker about my coffee, I must say that this place has now become my absolute number one spot. I would like to add the staff were also super friendly and make me feel at home.

the place is located really well and it has a nice charm to it. the drinks were alright and most foods seemed to be tasty (i do recommend the toasties). however i noticed that the chicken wrap BARELY had any chicken. taste wise it was okay in the end but for the price there could be more than more than two thin slices of chicken ham anyway. overall it's a cute place, but i find the price-performance ratio a bit off

I visited this place today for the first time. When I walked in, I greeted and sat down. There were three staff members working at that moment. I waited for quite a while, expecting one of them to come over to take my order, as they all saw me, but they completely ignored me. One of them even served another customer, walked right past me, and didn’t say a word. It wasn’t until a fourth staff member arrived from outside that someone finally approached me. She saw me waiting, came over, and asked if I wanted to order. I said yes, and she explained that normally orders are placed at the bar—something I didn’t know since it was my first visit. Usually, in a café, the staff comes to take your order at the table. Later on, I decided I wanted to take my Matcha to go, so I went up to the bar to pay and politely asked one of the girls, who wasn’t attending anyone at the time, if she could please put my Matcha in a plastic cup. Instead, her coworker next to her jumped in and handed me the cup and lid in a very aggressive manner, as if expecting me to pour it myself. I didn’t say anything and went ahead and did it. If I ask to have my Matcha in a to-go cup, it should be the staff who prepares it. After all, I could easily spill it, and they are the ones with the practice and experience to handle it properly.

I absolutely love this cafe Their matcha is perfect smooth, rich, and not too sweet. You can really taste the quality. On top of that, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s such a cozy spot, and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend to anyone who loves good drinks and great service☺️

A small iced coffee to go is €5, which is quite a lot. The menu has two options, and unfortunately, they're mediocre. Usually, when there are few options, efficiency (price) and quality are at a premium. That wasn't the case here. Starbucks has mastered the art of cold coffee. Good opening hours and fast service, though.

The coffee was kind of bad, definitely not specialty. On the other hand, I liked the atmosphere and the Brazilian cheese balls

The coffee was solid, but there are better barista coffees available. We had the Early Bird offer for breakfast. The quantity was good, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was also good. The yogurt bowl was very basic and okay, but not a revelation.

For a good cup of coffee with quality beans, you can definitely go to Buno Coffee. This Brazilian place not only serves delicious coffee, but also tasty dishes. I like to come here especially during my break - absolutely recommended!

Nice cafe with a great cozy ambience. The hot chocolate I ordered was tasty and came quickly. It looks really great and the people here are very friendly. I can only recommend it if you are nearby and want to grab a small coffee or something to eat.

Buno Coffee Amstel basically has a lot of potential - the coffee was excellent, the breakfast was tasteful and attractively presented. The modern ambience also seems inviting at first glance. Nevertheless, the overall experience remained a bit pale. The staff seemed rather reserved and not very committed, which unfortunately noticeably took away the warmth from the atmosphere. Especially in a café that wants to score points with style and quality, friendly, authentic service is an important part of the experience. The concept itself is solid, but not very unique - many things are reminiscent of comparable cafés without really standing out. Given the prices, one would have liked a little more character and attention to detail. Bottom line: good coffee, good breakfast, but still room for improvement when it comes to charm and hospitality.

You can eat quite well here. Slightly expensive toasties, so I would skip those. But the smoothie and yogurt are tasty. In short, management is chaotic. So you can drink and eat something here, but with trendy yogurt with quinoa and such. Gotta love it :).

Great spot to grab coffee while on the go but small cafe so may not always have seating available. Has some unique drinks on the menu (ie. orange juice with coffee) not my go to but may be for others haha. Kind baristas and a cute outdoor seating area to people watch if the weather permits.

One of the places in the city with the tastiest Pao de Queijo! But don't go here if you have a train to catch. Sometimes it is very busy here with tourists (from the adjacent hotel?) and even when there are 3 employees, things don't move very quickly.

Cozy, friendly cafe with unexpectedly amazing food! This became my go-to breakfast spot for all three days in Amsterdam, and they didn’t disappoint once. Highly recommend the delicious bowls, and the Tapioca wraps are a must-try! The baristas are super polite and helpful, making the space feel even more welcoming.

One of the waitresses was very friendly, she took great care of us and our dog. The days we were there we always went there for breakfast, for her because she was really charming.

6,65€ for an Iced Latte with oat milk is an absolute joke. The coffee quality is less than average and the size smaller than other places. I recommend you to go somewhere else.

I would have preferred to have breakfast at the hotel, the cheese balls were delicious, but the coffee was bitter and I asked the employee twice to give me a little more milk and sugar. She gave me sugar but unfortunately she forgot the milk...

Honestly, I’ve tried many coffee places in Amsterdam and I have to say that this place has one of the best coffee quality in Amsterdam. I also get a carrot cake slice whenever getting a coffee and have to say that their carrot cake is one of the best ones I’ve ever had, it’s not dry, not overwhelmingly sweet, just perfect!!!

This is my first time here, it's not really cheap, but I was in the mood for a cappuccino (small €3.30/medium €4.30). I ordered a medium and had to pay €4.45. “For the cup” she said. What a scam, using the (plastic) packaging tax for a cardboard product. I walked out and will NEVER order anything from here. Edit: You said it is a government rule to charge for take away cups? That counts for PLASTIC cups, not for cardboard/paper cups. I hate it when people take advantage of that rule. And you said you HAVE to charge 25 cents and reduced it to 15 cents? You can charge WHATEVER you want for the plastic packaging, even 0 cents!
