Delicious desserts and all kinds of baklava!

I went to Bereket Baklava with my daughter for lunch, the food and dessert were very tasty, Künefe and Sütlaç are highly recommended, the staff was very customer friendly, and the service was very good.

I had to pay €15.75 for 4 baklava and coffee. I couldn't believe my eyes, the employee laughed in my face!!! A real scammer, no flavor, just sugar and sour! Then I called to get an explanation and got someone on the phone who barely spoke Dutch. It was outrageous! Out of shame, I paid and left!!! I advise everyone against eating at these kinds of shops. 😡

Bought two pastries today. The staff didn't know what flavors were available. Then another staff member, who had just smoked, came and didn't even wash his hands. Then the price for two pastries was 14 euros. Absolutely terrible and really expensive. Never again.

I bought baklava from this store today. Absolutely inedible: no crispiness, not fresh, a floury sludge with sugar. It has absolutely nothing to do with baklava, even though I asked the employee if it was fresh, and she said yes. No wonder it's so quiet here. A lot of money for a really bad product. Don't buy it.

On a hot day like this it's really too warm inside, but otherwise a good place.

We chose the baklava because we liked it, it was delicious. We said we might be 10 minutes late when we went to pick it up. He said we would hang up at 23:00 and go, and hung up the phone. Anyway, I made it there again, and I expected them to be a little more understanding.

Hopeless organization. Went there on King's Day for something to eat. I wanted to use the toilet before eating but it was locked. When I asked, it turned out that they had agreed this in advance and had closed the toilet specifically for King's Day. This is very customer unfriendly. We always enjoyed coming here, but that was the last time.

I don't know how to pass by this place, the baklava is amazing, they need to fix the pastries.

Ebrar was exceptional with our service, fulfilled all our requests fast, and was very friendly (to our toddler too). The atmosphere was also good, an open space, with a good amount of daylight and lighting. Many dessert options to choose from, we especially liked the sütlaç. Only downside was that due to the open door, the cigarette smoke was heavily noticeable inside the room at times, which was a bother.

Best bakkava in my opinion. The price ratio is also super good compared to serivogly and Osdorp. I will only get my baklava here from now on. And I was also allowed to eat one for free :)

It was very tasty and friendly staff. We took Sekerpare, Oreo Baklava & Kadayif.

I bought baklava from here but it wasn't fresh. Unfortunately I had to throw it away. If you can't sell fresh produce, you shouldn't be in this business. I suggest you be more careful.

Really purely for sweets in the morning you can still get a doner or pizza, but after 3 o'clock I think only sweets. I was a fan of their pizza and doner from an early age. It does bother me, I don't go there that often anymore because I'm not a sweet lover, but after all these years I can't let you down like that. It would be great if you sold doner until closing time again

It's not fresh and the inside is dry!! A waste for your money. Unfortunately it's not worth it!

We came to Amsterdam with the suggestion of a friend, wondering how good baklava we could find, and we found delicious baklava varieties that were much more than our expectations. They were very fresh, had the right syrup and consistency. We would especially like to thank Mr. Berkay for his interest, kindness and friendliness. We will definitely stop by again.

I recently got baklava from Bereket Baklava and I have to say it is one of the best baklava I have ever tasted. The flavor was perfect and the texture was just right - crunchy and sweet, without being too heavy. What made this experience even better was the friendly staff. They were very hospitable and helpful, which made the whole experience enjoyable. In addition, the price-quality ratio is excellent. You really get value for your money, which is rare these days. I highly recommend Barakat Bakhlava to anyone who loves delicious baklava and appreciates great service. I'll definitely be back!

Their desserts are very bad and there are no pistachios in them, they all contain peas, I did not like them at all.

Drove all the way 15km to get “soguk baklava”. When asked explicitly if it was fresh, the answer was “yes of course”. Once we arrived home, we only received corners, and the baklava must have been sitting alone in the container for at least 2 days. Not a drop of milk could be found in it, and the cocoa powder was as squishy as swamp. Dear Bereket, unfortunately you have lost a customer and a larger customer base, and that only for €3.60. Success!

For 3 pieces of baklava (not very fresh) we had to pay EUR 7.50, which I think is quite a lot. staff shows little interest.

The place is managed by Muslims, like the majority in that area. We had coffees with baklavas, very good. It seemed that we were not well received, that's how I perceived it.

I went there for some baklava and was given an explanation of what was in it and I also thought the price-quality ratio was great. I don’t know what happened to this place but we went there after dinner last week. We were 6 people. 6 people ordered 6 different things only kunefe was okay. Nothing was fresh. Even tulumba they used to make the best tulumba. I am beyond disappointed.

For us, Bereket baklava has been number 1 for a long time after Serifoglu no longer made it so tasty. Unfortunately, Bereket's baklava is no longer that tasty. I hope they realize this so that they do something with it.

Once we arrive, a gentleman with a grumpy face comes to take our order as a waiter. Apparently the gentleman doesn't feel like it and is not happy with his profession. Throwing our order on the table, he is unable to speak properly. It would be best for him to take a waiter course and learn how to look at, address and serve a customer or go to the back of the kitchen to do the dishes, then his problem will be solved immediately.

The service is really ridiculous. Google said it was open until 11pm. We walked in at 10:10 PM and the waiter was standing in front of the stairs and said we had to sit downstairs because they were closing in an hour. Well, fine, at 10:40 PM he comes with what you are drinking in Turkish, we are closing. Unbelievable how we are treated. The glasses are also dirty as standard, which is a real disappointment.

Went for dessert with my family for the first time. Nice restaurant, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and fast service. I didn't like all desserts equally. I thought Katmer was tasteless and had almost no filling. Wouldn't take it next time. The other baklavas such as Atom were very tasty. The children had ice cream.

Unfortunately, I ordered Sutlac but was very disappointed!! It was too watery? Really not tasty and really not okay: strange taste.. took 2 spoons and left it alone. Girlfriend had a pistachio flavored milkshake and it was disappointing again! Not really a pistachio flavor and lukewarm/warm in temperature. Also added a chocolate swirl so it tasted more like chocolate than pistachio? And of course a milkshake should be really cold and it wasn't... I have come here before, but apparently you should stick to baklava and kunefe because that is tasty. Don't do the rest! Not worth it unfortunately. Change 8 months later: 21-12-2023 A few weeks ago I ate kunefe twice on different days. 1st time it was too dry? So too little sugar syrup was used. Was very dry… Unfortunately it was disappointing and not tasty. The second time, on a different day, the kunefe was still too soft... and of course the angel hair must be crispy for a kunefe. Only a kunefe that has already absorbed the serbet (sugar syrup) cannot be put back on the fire, that is not possible! We should know that, right? As a result, the burnt taste was unfortunately even worse than before I sent it back…. It seems like the chef who makes the kunefe has changed a lot lately. All in all, 3 different attempts that were disappointing. After these attempts, NO more Bereket Baklava for me. Unfortunately and success

Ik schrok er van om te zien hoe duur een kilo baklava is geworden. Zelf een kleiner bakje met 6 stukjes was erg aan de prijs. Mij zal je hier dus geen baklava zien kopen. Brood daarentegen is vers. 3x meegemaakt dat het brood halverwege en aan het eind van de middag op is. Houd hier rekening mee.

Ik heb letterlijk oude baklava gekregen!! 1 kilo kost 22,-euro. Had het dan wel dagvers verwacht. Heel jammer dat ik 25 kilometer hiervoor heb moeten rijden. Prachtige zaak. Mooi ingericht. Meneer was behulpzaam maar de baklava viel me zwaar tegen.

Dit is mijn eerste bezoek om thee en taart te eten. Aardbeien tart, profiterol, tralice, San Sebastián geprobeerd en het was heel erg lekker. Bediening is goed, personeel is vriendelijk. Maar sfeer niet gezellig. Hier kom ik nog een keer.
