Always a great experience. Dimsums are the best!

We discovered this little gem by chance. The waiter initially didn't have a table available for us (4 people), but he took down our phone number and called shortly after when one became available. The extremely friendly waiter did a really good job. He recommended four dishes for us, along with a truly delicious Nepalese beer with light and unobtrusive citrus notes, which went very well with the meal. The food was incredibly delicious. The spices and flavors of the dishes are unique. I've never had dishes like peanut salad or puffed rice as a side dish in this form before. You could taste every component without the spices overpowering the other ingredients. Besides the waiter, the rest of the team was also extremely friendly. The price for the meal with drinks was around €30 per person, which is really reasonable for this part of town. This restaurant should not be missed on any visit to Amsterdam. We wish the team all the best and hope to be able to come back soon.

We were really craving some authentic Nepalese momo, and Bhatti Pasal Voetboog absolutely hit the spot! It's a small but cozy place with a welcoming atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and helpful with her recommendations. We ordered the vegetarian momo with sesame curry sauce (jhol) and vegetable fried rice – both were outstanding. The momo, paired with the tomato coriander chutney, were packed with flavor and truly lip-smacking. The fried rice was equally impressive – loaded with vegetables and tofu, it was fresh, well-balanced, and delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience. If you're looking for authentic Nepalese flavors in Amsterdam, this place is a must-try!

I was looking for a good place to have a delicious dinner. I found this Thai restaurant on Google. It is located in the center of Amsterdam. The craft beer recommended by the restaurant is delicious and goes very well with the Thai roast chicken rice I ordered. This is the most delicious dinner I had in Amsterdam this time!

Exquisite, authentic food - truly a "don't miss" in Amsterdam. They have some more general dishes that you may find elsewhere (like fried rice), but the Nepalese food can't be beat. The waiter made some excellent recommendations and we went with all of them. Best momo's I have ever had (we chose pork with sesame sauce). We shared the Chicken Bhatti Pasal Thali (I will be dreaming of this dish for the next few years) and the Barra Pancake (a flavor infusion I have never experienced before, divine). Cute inside, but we chose to sit by ourselves outside at a small table for two. Excellent meal, service, and ambiance.

It was my first time trying Nepalese cuisine, and it was truly a wonderful experience! Every dish we ordered had a unique flavor each one told its own story. We had noodles, dumplings with sauce, rice, and salad everything was delicious. Special thanks to Tikka who took great care of us and gave amazing recommendations and many thanks to san he was so nice If you’re ever in Amsterdam, I highly recommend trying this place. It was a beautiful and different experience!

The dumplings here never disappoint - in every version. The waiter (Arjan, young man) is always so friendly and gives great recommendations. 10/10 recommend!

I don't write reviews often, but this place deserves it. I ate the pork dumplings in chili sauce and it was perhaps my favorite food experience in Amsterdam. The flavor was intense, deep, rich, fresh, spicy, crunchy, moist, savory... I could go on and on, but I'll leave with this: How often do you have the chance to eat nepalese food? Unless you live in a huge metropol it's probably quite rare, and it is not something an experience that you should miss out on. Go to this quaint, cozy restaurant and taste the wonders cooked up by the charismatic chef.

Grabbed the veggie momo as a late dinner snack and they were surprisingly fresh and really tasty. You can tell it’s a family-run spot — Nepali-owned and clearly made with love and authenticity. Definitely recommend if you’re craving something a bit different but super genuine. And yep, no photo — the momo were gone before we even thought about it! The tomato-coriander chutney was great too, though I wouldn’t have minded a little more heat.

The food is great here We ordered the momo dumplings and the BBQ meat served with furandana (crispy beaten rice) which comes with mint & tomato sauce. I didn't think the Crispy beaten rice was that special...it tastes like popcorn. I made the wrong choice (would have preferred normal rice). That other dish "the Momo" is what you come for...the dumplings are tasty and the sauce that comes with it is really good :-) definitely worth the wait!

In terms of taste, it was decent and straightforward. However, we did find a hair in the momo, which was disappointing. The staff handled it well, they apologized and offered to remake the dish right away. While we appreciated the quick response, it’s the kind of issue that ideally shouldn’t happen.

We ate chicken noodle soup and chicken noodles. It was spicy and bitter, but it tasted very good and was satisfying. Their traditional strawberry drink was hot. It is more suitable for drinking after meals. I recommend it to those who want to try different flavors.

Expensive place for its kind of restaurant. Dumplings tasted authentic, noodles also tasted good but can be better. Portion sizes are okay. Overall we liked food, but too pricy and due to open kitchen sometimes you may or may not like the noise and smells.

A small hidden gem in Amsterdam city centre! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great! We ordered a couple of dishes to share with my family. The pork skewers were absolutely delicious.🤤 You definitely need to try them. We tried also the dumplings in sesame sauce, noodle soup with chicken, fried rice with vegetables and chicken among others. The staff also recommended their traditional rice as a side dish and we didn’t regret it! Puffy rice with mixed with nuts, it was unexpectedly delicious! It’s a small place, so reserve your spot in advance if you don’t want to miss this experience. A visit in this restaurant is 1000% recommended!

Absolutely blown away by the kindness and service at Bhatti Pasal! We were traveling with our dog and couldn’t dine inside, but instead of just handing us a takeaway bag, the staff brought over full plates and silverware directly to Café Havelaar across the street so we could enjoy our meal comfortably with our pup. That level of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. On top of that, the food was incredible—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Huge thanks to both Bhatti Pasal and Café Havelaar for making our afternoon so special. Can’t wait to come back!

It was my first time to try Nepalese food. I was very surprised that there is such a cost-effective small restaurant hidden in the city center. I ordered chicken fried noodles and pork fried rice. The portions were quite large, the meat was generous, and the taste was in line with Chinese tastes. Recommended!

Loved the momos. Very authentic.

We have eaten for approximately 30 euros. We have ordered the steamed and fried sacks. They were delicious, they came with a slightly spicy sauce and the other with dried tomato. We ordered the barbecue meat with basmati rice and also with the crispy one, both were delicious but we recommend the crispy one as it gives it a crunchy touch. The noodles were also very good, the shame is that we were so hungry that we didn't take a photo. Of negative things we can say that the service is a little slow since there are only 3 people but it is worth it. The atmosphere is quiet, a small place, we were lucky to get a seat but we must keep in mind that it may not be possible on other days. They play repetitive mantra music and the bathroom is for one person only, you have to keep that in mind. It is a place that we recommend for the flavor and if you are small groups or couples.

It's one of the best pork fried rice I ever ate. The food is delicious, including fried rice, dumplings and chicken sekuwa. I truly recommend it. (The restaurant is a bit small and easily fully booked)

Small, inconspicuous restaurant from the outside with exceptionally good food. We were pleasantly surprised by the spices and the composition of the dishes. The service was also extremely courteous. Anyone who likes to look beyond the culinary horizon is in good hands here.

Hidden gem in the alleys of Amsterdam discovered by my brother & his partner. We went to have our dinner in the last night in Amsterdam. Piping hot monos tasted amazing with tea, beer. Then we’d Thalis (veg & non veg accordingly). The sweet gesture by the sweet looking staff (forgot to ask his name) was cherry on top.

I had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding Nepalese restaurant. The noodles were absolutely out of this world: flavorful, perfectly cooked, and packed with fresh ingredients. Very small environment, you have to be lucky to get a seat. We arrived early and during the week, they made us sit on the same table with a couple of guys but it can be a good opportunity to socialize. The food is truly fantastic, the portions are generous. We ordered chicken rice and chicken noodles. I appreciated that they also bring you small plates to divide the meal. Prices in line with the city. Fast and courteous service. I definitely recommend it

Nepalese restaurant, the space is limited so there are not many seats but still comfortable, the menu offers typical Nepalese cuisine, we trusted the waiter who served us a mix of various dishes to share so we tasted a little of everything and it was great. The waiting times are quite fair, the staff is kind and friendly, the value for money is excellent and they also run separate accounts for payment.

First time trying Nepalese food! Loved steamed momo dumplings, it had juicy chicken filling and unique sesame sauce. As for the noodle soup, it was not much to my liking but I have nothing to compare it with. The restaurant was full on Friday evening and we had not reservation, but we were sat down in 30 minutes.
