My favorite Nepalese restaurant. Their momos are amazing, both steamed and pan fried. And chicken sekuwa with furandana is absolutely delicious. Too bad they removed noodles and fried rice from the menu.

After a long time, I was able to eat Nepali style food from Nepali kitchen. My heart and stomach were filled with joy. 😊🇳🇵

My first time trying nepalese cuisine and was very pleasantly surprised. We got the chicken momos, chicken skewers, and veggie chow mein all were INCREDIBLE! When they say they honor the ingredient they mean it. Service was very good as well when we dudnt understand what the beaten rice was they bought us out a sample to snack on which was nice. Overall very lucky to have found this place and would definitely come back next time i’m in Amsterdam (Especially for the momos)

Bhatti Pasal is a true gem for authentic Nepalese food in Amsterdam. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. The host was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The momos were fantastic, and the house-made mayonnaise was surprisingly delicious and paired perfectly with them. We also ordered the Khaja Set, which was mouth-watering, full of authentic flavors, and beautifully prepared. If you're looking for genuine Nepalese cuisine with amazing service and a cozy atmosphere, Bhatti Pasal is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended! 🇳🇵🍽️

We have been the first time here. The food is just excellent, prices are normal and the service incredibly friendly - especially Arian and his sister Nili, lovely guys! We will definitely be back soon.

The food is amaaazing! I truly recommend this place if you want to try different flavors. Ask the waitress for suggestion, but you really can’t go wrong with anything. So delicious! The only thing I would suggest is taking a careful look at the bill, because they can easily add a beer or two more than you actually had

Disappointing that dogs are not allowed here. In the 21st century and in Europe, this policy feels outdated, particularly in Amsterdam where many restaurants are pet-friendly. This should be clearly communicated in advance to avoid inconvenience for customers.

We had to wait 15 minutes for a free table, but it was definitely worth it. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. After ordering, we received our drinks and delicious food very quickly. It was extremely flavorful and prepared with care. The portions were also generous.

Found by chance, on Voetboogstraat, a small side street. Reservations aren't possible, but it's worth the wait. Small restaurant, very friendly service and a family atmosphere. Very good food and fair prices. We felt very comfortable! Many thanks to the team on Voetboogstraat!

Best in town, no doubt. Freshly made with all the spices perfectly blended together. The momos are outstanding and the dhal bad made me feel i was in nepal again, really delicious.Hospitality is really good. In a lot of restaurants in amsterdam the people are a bit grumpy. But here the people are exceptionally friendly.

We recently dined at Bhatti Pasal during our holiday in Amsterdam and had truly wonderful experience from start to finish. We had Momo platter, choila, sukuti, steam buff momo and chowmein etc.Every dishes was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. Steam buff Momo and choila was the highlight. The spices were balanced perfectly, flavourful and making every bites satisfying and the steam buff momo was so delicious and very juicy even my mouth is watering while writing the review. Beyond the food, the ambiance and environment of the restaurant were excellent. The space was clean, comfortable and welcoming with a pleasant atmosphere that made it perfect for our family dining. The setting felt warm and relaxed allowing us to truly enjoy our meal. I highly recommend Bhatti Pasal, Amsterdam to anyone looking for the delicious Nepali Cuisine in a welcoming environment. Last but not least please make sure you keep room for yourself as ‘’the best is saved for last.’’Their deserts are perfect ending to an amazing meal.

Very fun and pleasant experience, and my first time trying Nepalese cuisine. It was rich and diverse in flavour, and meat heavy. We went for the sausage dish which I really enjoyed, and the buffalo momos, as well as the sharing platter. Staff is very friendly and nice (seemed to be family run). Would recommend.

Nestled in a small side road off the red light district, we stumbled onto such a lovely surprise. Great aromatic flavours and good portion size in comparison with the normal pricey Amsterdam dining experience.

A very small place with just a few tables, here you can enjoy oriental flavors in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Very friendly staff and excellent value. Highly recommended.

I love this place!! The food was DELICIOUS. The portion was big and the taste was amazing. Also, I need to say that everyone was very polite and friendly, especially Samsa (I hope I remember the name correct). She made us feel welcomed, she helped us with the menu and managed to serve us a wonderful dinner.

A wonderful discovery on a quiet street in the heart of Amsterdam, with incredibly balanced dishes and extraordinary flavors. Highly recommended are the carrot pudding, as well as the steamed vegetarian momo dumplings and the Nepalese street wok noodles. An unforgettable experience.

Located like an authentic Nepali bhatti tucked away in a small corner. Quite busy, but still nice and cozy. The buff momo was our special highlight. The staff are really friendly, and the waiter seemed very welcoming.

Food was great ! Would recommend the momos, noodles and the chicken thali . But because the restaurant is popular, it gets a little crowded.

I've been to Bhatti Pasal a couple of times, it's great. I was introduced to Bhatti Pasal by a Nepalese friend who said it was the closest tasting to eating in Nepal he had eaten since leaving to live in Europe (he was visiting from the UK and had been there before on an Amsterdam trip). Very friendly staff.

We had the most delicious dinner last night here! First of all, the decor and ambiance was so modern and cosy. The food was very authentic Nepalese and delicious. We wanted to order everything off the menu! Service was friendly and fast! Perfect place for a dinner date. I couldn’t recommend this place any more , if you’re in Amsterdam make sure to give it a try!

Me and my wife travelled from Ireland. Being from Nepal, living abroad for almost 20 years, I was delighted to find a Nepali restaurant with great reviews and authentic food menu while we were looking for a place for dinner in Amsterdam. Well, it didn’t disappoint. Only a short walk from where we were staying in the city centre, we were greeted with a warm welcome. Small but the place felt so cozy and you could smell the food cooking in the open kitchen. I could hear the lads chatting about food and other things from back home (nostalgia) 😊 We had the best meal in Amsterdam and my wife who is Irish, cleaned her plate and tried meats that she normally wouldn’t try and was delighted that she did so. Everything was perfect! We just wished we could eat and stay for longer. Massive recommendation for this little gem!

Great dining experience at Bhatti Pasal. It’s rare to find a place that honors deep traditional Nepalese roots while still feeling so inventive and modern, but they nailed it. The staff makes you feel right at home, and the food speaks for itself. The momos and chowmein are absolute must-haves, but the real showstopper for me was the Gud Pak for dessert. Truly amazing. Can't wait to come back!

I booked Bhatti Pasal for a large group surprise birthday party. We already loved this restaurant but they made this evening so special, were so accommodating, attentive and kind! They hosted our group seamlessly and even played the birthday song in the restaurant with a candle dessert. Wonderful team and thank you for making it such a special celebration

The food wasn't anything special if you're familiar with dumplings, and it certainly wasn't a flavor explosion. The restaurant is also very small and cramped, and all your clothes smelled strongly of grease afterward. It wasn't really worth it.

I was so impressed with my experience here. The food was outstanding - so blown away by the flavor and quality. We got the tasting menu and I was so excited to eat every single thing. The waitstaff was also super helpful, checking on us and refilling some of our dishes, even. I can’t wait to come back here; may even plan a trip to NL just for this dinner again!

The Momo was great and the chatni with damn good

I was shocked by the poor hygiene and sloppy presentation. The bread tasted stale, salad wilted, and glassware had spots. The server was dismissive and slow to respond. For the price charged, this level of service is unacceptable and disappointing.

I left the restaurant feeling disappointed and cheated. My meal arrived late, was poorly seasoned, and a requested dish was unavailable despite being on the menu. Staff communication was terrible, and the ambiance felt loud and chaotic. Won’t be returning.

We went here for dinner. It’s such a small cozy place yet it feels and looks very clean and very hygienic and very under control. The staff is very polite. The menu is very limited but very clean and light. Real good quality food. We ordered the chicken pan fried momos in sesame sauce, the chicken chowmien, Nepalese chili and beer. While everything else was super nice, the momos stole the show. Portion sizes are big enough such that one dish cab easily fill up one person. We couldn’t finish our potato chili.

Small Nepalese restaurant that exceeded expectations! The noodles and dumplings were super good - definitely 5 out of 5. The Thali was also good but not quite in the same class - 4 out of 5. There were three of us who came there without a reservation, and there were no free tables. We had to give our name and were asked to come back in 10-15 minutes. In the end, we probably had to wait 20-25 minutes. Which was still above expectations considering that the restaurant is so small and seems to be quite popular. The staff was nice and very accommodating! I also liked the place, even though it was quite loud.

Myself being a nepalese this is the worst nepalese restaurant i 've ever been to. Ordered momo and mix thukpa. Waited there for 45 mins. MOMO was alright but, thukpa was just noodles with warm water. The chef were just only named chef. When your a nepali and you are craving for authentic food you won't find the taste you will be looking for. The only good thing here was the waiter. He was very professional and very very polite. (This place is only for those who don't know the real taste of nepalese food. They are just selling it to tourist who don't know the taste.)

The server bhai was very helpful, we had a stroller and he really helped us to take it inside the restaurant and place it safely. The food was tasty and you can see chef cooking which gives lively atmosphere. Recommend to try
