The cuisine is exquisite and high-quality, and the price is quite reasonable. We ordered 3 main courses + 2 soft drinks, which cost us €57. Be careful, it's a small restaurant; I recommend booking.

I had to wait too long for a take away order. but they didn't give me an explanation or any reassurance. They didn't even give me a chair to wait on. And it not cheap

Expensive place for its kind of restaurant. Dumplings tasted authentic, noodles also tasted good but can be better. Portion sizes are okay. Overall we liked food, but too pricy and due to open kitchen sometimes you may or may not like the noise and smells.

Small restaurant but great cuisine, refined and tasty. The chicken chowmein was spicy but not too spicy, and the steamed and fried momos were excellent. The quantities are perfect too.

Absolutely loved the experience at Vattipasal! The food was delicious—authentic Nepali flavors that really hit the spot. Every dish we tried was rich in taste and totally worth the visit. The variety on the menu was great too, perfect for anyone wanting to explore Nepali cuisine. What made it even better was the staff—super friendly, kind, and attentive. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our meal. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with amazing food and warm hospitality, Vattipasal is definitely worth checking out. Great flavoursome authentic Nepalese food. Friendly efficient service and a full range of drinks from cocktails to locally brewed beers, my favourite was the Nepalese Pale Ale (NPA). Fantastic experience and looking forward to going again.

A small hidden gem in Amsterdam city centre! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great! We ordered a couple of dishes to share with my family. The pork skewers were absolutely delicious.🤤 You definitely need to try them. We tried also the dumplings in sesame sauce, noodle soup with chicken, fried rice with vegetables and chicken among others. The staff also recommended their traditional rice as a side dish and we didn’t regret it! Puffy rice with mixed with nuts, it was unexpectedly delicious! It’s a small place, so reserve your spot in advance if you don’t want to miss this experience. A visit in this restaurant is 1000% recommended!

Absolutely blown away by the kindness and service at Bhatti Pasal! We were traveling with our dog and couldn’t dine inside, but instead of just handing us a takeaway bag, the staff brought over full plates and silverware directly to Café Havelaar across the street so we could enjoy our meal comfortably with our pup. That level of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. On top of that, the food was incredible—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Huge thanks to both Bhatti Pasal and Café Havelaar for making our afternoon so special. Can’t wait to come back!

It was my first time to try Nepalese food. I was very surprised that there is such a cost-effective small restaurant hidden in the city center. I ordered chicken fried noodles and pork fried rice. The portions were quite large, the meat was generous, and the taste was in line with Chinese tastes. Recommended!

We got veggie dumplings in two variations, potato sesame salad and carrot puddinng as dessert and i gotta say all the flavours were on point. Suitable for vegetarians definitely! Staff was also very friendly :) they dont do reservation is a “walk-in concept”

We have eaten for approximately 30 euros. We have ordered the steamed and fried sacks. They were delicious, they came with a slightly spicy sauce and the other with dried tomato. We ordered the barbecue meat with basmati rice and also with the crispy one, both were delicious but we recommend the crispy one as it gives it a crunchy touch. The noodles were also very good, the shame is that we were so hungry that we didn't take a photo. Of negative things we can say that the service is a little slow since there are only 3 people but it is worth it. The atmosphere is quiet, a small place, we were lucky to get a seat but we must keep in mind that it may not be possible on other days. They play repetitive mantra music and the bathroom is for one person only, you have to keep that in mind. It is a place that we recommend for the flavor and if you are small groups or couples.

It's one of the best pork fried rice I ever ate. The food is delicious, including fried rice, dumplings and chicken sekuwa. I truly recommend it. (The restaurant is a bit small and easily fully booked)

Small, inconspicuous restaurant from the outside with exceptionally good food. We were pleasantly surprised by the spices and the composition of the dishes. The service was also extremely courteous. Anyone who likes to look beyond the culinary horizon is in good hands here.

Hidden gem in the alleys of Amsterdam discovered by my brother & his partner. We went to have our dinner in the last night in Amsterdam. Piping hot monos tasted amazing with tea, beer. Then we’d Thalis (veg & non veg accordingly). The sweet gesture by the sweet looking staff (forgot to ask his name) was cherry on top.

I had a very nice meal here and the staff was friendly! (For the guy who wants to visit Maastricht, you can ask me if you'd need recommendations @lingxumonsuwe :)

Excellent dinner, the ravioli with sesame sauce were truly absurd and then the waiter recommended a typical Nepalese dish (khukura ko masu), which was also excellent.

I had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding Nepalese restaurant. The noodles were absolutely out of this world: flavorful, perfectly cooked, and packed with fresh ingredients. The spicy soup (with noodles as well) was a true explosion of taste, striking the perfect balance between heat and rich aromas. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Delicious food and lovely atmosphere and staff

Very small environment, you have to be lucky to get a seat. We arrived early and during the week, they made us sit on the same table with a couple of guys but it can be a good opportunity to socialize. The food is truly fantastic, the portions are generous. We ordered chicken rice and chicken noodles. I appreciated that they also bring you small plates to divide the meal. Prices in line with the city. Fast and courteous service. I definitely recommend it

Nepalese restaurant, the space is limited so there are not many seats but still comfortable, the menu offers typical Nepalese cuisine, we trusted the waiter who served us a mix of various dishes to share so we tasted a little of everything and it was great. The waiting times are quite fair, the staff is kind and friendly, the value for money is excellent and they also run separate accounts for payment.

One of the best restaurants I have been to in Amsterdam. Refined and original flavours with helpful and very friendly service. (It's small and doesn't sell alcohol, so look elsewhere if you want booze.)

First time trying Nepalese food! Loved steamed momo dumplings, it had juicy chicken filling and unique sesame sauce. As for the noodle soup, it was not much to my liking but I have nothing to compare it with. The restaurant was full on Friday evening and we had not reservation, but we were sat down in 30 minutes.

This was a first for our family re Nepalese food but we actually loved, like really loved, the blend of what we are use to in Australia in terms of Indian, Chinese and Malaysian. Great flavours. Kids ate everything and ordered more!! We were so grateful we thanked the chefs personally. Well done Bhatti Pasal !

Best momos in Amsterdam! By far.

We visited Bhatti Pasal with high expectations, influenced by its high ratings and positive word of mouth. We ordered the chicken momo and the khaja set, both classic Nepali dishes. The momo with sesame sauce was packed with flavor and tasted fantastic. Unfortunately, the khaja set didn’t meet my expectations. It was overly oily, lacked flavor, and felt highly westernized. In my opinion, it no longer reflects authentic Nepali cuisine.

Food is Fire. Cant ask for better Tibetan food. Im from Canada -toronto. I live in a area called little TIBET, i have tried many dishes. These guys know what they are Doing. MOMO is Excellent.

Everything about this place is top notch. Highly recommend for its authenticity. A wee bit pricey but it's in central Amsterdam so it is to be expected.

Absolutely phenomenal food, we had the traditional dinner and dumplings. Variety of delish vegetables, Lamb was perfectly cooked, and the tomato coriander sauce was to die for. Also super friendly staff. Unassuming spot with great atmosphere. Seriously do not miss

Crispy momos were delicious! Noodle soup was hearty (but not heavy), and the spice gave it a kick without being overwhelming.

Amazing Nepalese food! The momos were delicious and the fried rice was amazing as well. The sauce here is to die for!!! They also had great service! This one is a very small and intimate restaurant with seating inside and out and the kitchen is in the same room as the tables. They have a bathroom as well. Probably wouldn’t be the best place for big groups.
