We had wonderful dinner with family last week. We enjoyed every dish, my little daughter tried mono for the first time, me and my husband had amazing tali and other two kids enjoyed the curry. The Indian red wine is must try. We will def come back again very soon

I tried the Dal Bhat Tarkari and Naan with Butter Chicken yesterday, and everything was absolutely delicious! The food had a genuine Nepali taste, with the perfect blend of traditional Nepali spices and flavours. The Dal Bhat Tarkari especially reminded me of the authentic flavours of Nepal. The Butter Chicken and naan were also really tasty. Great food, lovely flavours, and definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who loves authentic Nepali cuisine. 🇳🇵❤️

We shared a delicious meal here. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, in particular gluten free options. Everything was fresh and tasty. Tender meat, fluffy rice and gorgeously spiced sauce.

It was nice to escape the bustle of the nearby streets. We took on the buffet which was good value - for Amsterdam - really great flavours. Good chat with the host- The Mango icecream at the end was just right. Serves beers and wines and great meal for our first night in town. Highly recommended.

We’ve been eating all over Amsterdam for roughly a week and this place might be my favourite. Small quaint atmosphere, the food is absolutely amazing. The flavours are so good. My daughter had the chicken chow mein and I ate some of it too, so amazing. Staff are wonderful.

We searched a good indian restaurant to eat dinner after a long day on the streets of Amsterdam. We found the Yeti. It was a really good decision the food was authentic, delicious and came real quick. The best thing were the waiters they were super friendly! We would everyone recommend to eat here just look that youre early enough its not too tall.

Excellent service - brought me a new drink when I wasn't feeling my original order! Aloo tama bodi was mildly spiced but flavorful, and the items from other tables smelled heavenly.

They serve authentic indian and nepali food. Staff is very friendly with customers We enjoyed the dinner for 2 days stay in amsterdam.

The place felt small and suffocating, with poor ambience. Unfortunately, the Indian staff were also quite rude and unwelcoming, especially towards Indian customers. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Great experience! The Nepali and Indian food was amazing, especially the curries and rice. You can choose your spice level, which we loved, and the portions are huge! Everything was delicious and full of flavor. The service was also amazing. Mahesh was so attentive and took such great care of us. Definitely recommend this place!

Very disappointing experience. The waiter was extremely unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. We ordered a starter, but it was not spicy at all. When we politely asked if they could provide something spicy or add some spice to it, instead of offering a solution, the waiter simply told us that we could “maybe go to some other place and eat.” That is an incredibly rude and unprofessional way to speak to customers. We completely understand that not every dish can be customized, but there are much more polite ways to communicate that. The food may be okay, but the service and attitude completely ruined our experience. Definitely not a place I would recommend if you expect basic courtesy and good customer service.

We found this restaurant during a trip to Amsterdam when we were looking for places with a wide vegetarian selection. We were warmly welcomed, served in a super friendly manner, and the food was delicious.

Tiny joint but the food was pretty good and the staff were really welcoming. Good place to go as an American if you’re looking for the kind of service you typically get back home. Had the Lamb Saag. Tasty, but I think the owners are assuming you can’t handle anything too spicy—not that it’s normally very spicy anyway. Naan was mostly good, but wanted a little salt. Luckily it’s on the table. Also watch your step entering and exiting—especially exiting. Big first step with the door kind of in the way. (That’s Amsterdam though, stairs here are nobody’s friend.)

The three of us were very satisfied. We received very warm service, and the menu was explained to us again. We were even given tips for our picky eater teenager. We ate Indian and Nepalese food, and everything was excellent! The restrooms were also very clean. We highly recommend this place. My favorite Indian food in Amsterdam! The chicken korma is so delicious with a sweet taste. The employees are very friendly and helpful with the menu and any food allergies. I also love the design of the bathroom. I highly recommend The Yeti!

Fantastic atmosphere, affordable prices, incredible staff. The food comes out fresh and on time, and is ridiculously tasty, you get free rice for the entire meal at whatever quantity you request. The restaurant is small but the atmosphere is great the waiter was incredibly friendly.

Wonderful spot for us to find! The food was exceptionally delicious and beautifully prepared. The flavors were strong and smooth, very unique compared to the Indian food we are used to in the U.S. The service was wonderful, with our server spending time to ask where we are from and then decorating our dessert plate for our honeymoon. It was not very crowded - we were told they’re in a slight low point of tourism right now so I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere since it was mostly empty BUT the other tables that came and gone while we were there were overjoyed with their food, as well. It was lovely to hear so many positive comments!

Amazing mix of Nepali and Indian food. The jhol momo was absolutely delicious with that spicy tangy broth, and the chicken thukpa was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. If you love Nepali food, go for the jhol momo. And don’t skip the chicken thukpa, it was delicious and packed with flavor. Will definitely come back!"

We went there spontaneously today and received a very friendly welcome. When we ordered, they recommended a different/similar dish instead of the one we had chosen. We followed their recommendation and were immediately rewarded. The mix of different small portions was delicious, and each dish was more tasty than the last. The garlic naan was also fresh and crispy. The service was very warm and welcoming, and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Amsterdam.

A great find, I had an amazing paneer karahi which was beautifully spiced and comes with rice. Pani puri was an unexpected but delightful starter!

Very delicious Nepali food! Went here twice in a row while I was in Amsterdam. Got chicken thali the first time and lamb thali the second time. Both come with the same sides (daal, vegetable curry, spicy pickles, etc.). Both were very good, though I liked the lamb a little more. Would definitely recommend to anyone craving Nepali home food while traveling, or generally anyone looking for a filling, savory dish! Just 10 minutes' walk from Amsterdam Centraal. Gets very crowded during dinner and it's not very big, so reservations recommended. Very nice ambiance! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We found the restaurant on TripAdvisor because it wasn't too far from the hotel and made a reservation while we were on the go. The restaurant wasn't full, so we were guaranteed a table. They quickly brought us an appetizer, and then we ordered our main course. My chicken masala was delicious, with a mild spiciness, but not overpowering—perfectly acceptable. The other two dishes were vegetarian. The food was very tasty, and they were even able to tell us which dishes didn't contain garlic. I would happily recommend this charming little restaurant, especially since the service was also very friendly and attentive.

I ordered chicken biryani, butter chicken curry, and plain bread. The biryani was tasty, but it was spicier than expected. Unfortunately, I wasn’t asked about my preferred spice level when placing the order. Overall, the restaurant is decent.
