Super nice staff, great food and a super nice environment - we would definitely recommend!

The dishes we ordered (chicken karahi and aloo gobi) were very rich and tasty. We asked for them to be spicier because we like our food spicy and medium spice was perfect for us. The sauces were maybe a little too rich, but well seasoned. The chicken was tender, and the cauliflower nicely roasted. The garlic naan was very garlicky and delicious, and the mango lassi was just right. Dinner for two with a 10% tip came to 70€. The service and atmosphere lived up to that price point as well as the food, and there was plenty.

Food was flavorful and came out fast. Absolutely loved the garlic naan and tamarind chutney! Waiters were kind, but a bit slow with in all the busyness. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and craving Indian food.

Never go there. Super rude serving staff and disappointed with the whole experience. Avoid this place. My visit was shockingly uncomfortable. As the only Indian customer, I was made to wait while white customers who arrived after me were welcomed, seated, and served instantly. Empty tables, yet I was overlooked. The contrast in treatment was impossible to ignore and left me deeply disappointed.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had! The service was the best I’ve had in Europe and I’ve been here multiple times. The food was honestly to die for. Definitely a great dinner spot because it’ll put you in a food coma. We had the 3 course meal and it was amazing! We added on the samosas which was heavenly. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back!

Amazing place -> highly recommend !!! This place completely blew me away. The butter chicken was honestly the most incredible thing I’ve ever tasted, rich, creamy, and full of flavor that just melts in your mouth. The momos were out of this world, hands down the best I’ve ever had. But what truly made the whole experience unforgettable was our server, Shai. His service was impeccable, he checked in on us constantly, made sure everything was perfect, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Shai is the reason I’ll be recommending Yeti Amsterdam to all my friends, colleagues, and family. We’re already planning our next visit and can’t wait to come back! Thank you Shai, for making this night one of our best!

If you are looking for delicious Indian food, try this hidden gem! We had a lovely dinner here. Started off with samosas and chicken tikka, then shared some chicken korma with garlic naan. The curries are served with basmati. Next time would love to try some other curries and dhal.

We had the Paneer Butter Masala and the Chicken Madras which both tasted incredibly good but be prepared for the Madras to be spicy. The waiter did tell us that though. Lovely service and the food came fast.

BEST food I had in Amsterdam. Trued the Dal soup (which a hint of tomato in it), and the Tikka masala the whole food was rich in flavor and tender. The service is excellent as well The only downside is the portions are smaller in size, but if they keep the quality and service as is, will definitely try to visit back.

The restaurant is very, very small. The food is acceptable compared to other restaurants. You enter through the small, narrow door, and the stairs are annoying. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with elderly people or children. The tables are so narrow that the tables next to you feel like they're sitting right next to you.

If you are looking for an authentic Nepali food you might be disappointed… i am not sure about indian food. We also ordered samosa chat and it was not close to the samosa chat.

Great spot! The Yeti has amazing food, momos were fresh and full of flavor, and the pani puri was out of this world. Cozy vibe and good drinks (definitely don’t miss the mango lassi!). The staff are lovely and very welcoming. Definitely a place I’d come back to in Amsterdam. Thank you for the lovely time.

We went there for dinner. Had ordered pani puri, samosa chat, chicken mo mo, and palak paneer with rice. Pani puri was pretty bad. Samosa chat was so so. Mo mo and palak paneer was decent. Service was the worst. Didn’t feel welcomed. We were visiting Amsterdam and looked for Nepali restaurant to make it feel like home, but this restaurant didn’t have that welcoming service as we expected. Food was so so, but the price was deadly. Will never go back there again. Forgot to mention the chai tea, which cost €4,50 but tasted horrible. Anyways, nothing personal but I do not recommend this restaurant.

Lovely little Nepalese restaurant not far from Amsterdam Centraal station. We ended up here on a whim and were so grateful for it. The food was phenomenal and the staff were very friendly and offered good recommendations. The building is small but it is a great place for dinner.

Dangerously spicy! Way too many green chillies in the food if asked for spicy. Waiter was not kind and simply justifying himself that he gave me an option while ordering. Well he did not warn me that the food has lot of chillies. I had to suffer from stomach problem the next day. More Spicy is not just adding more green chillies but instead a proper mix of hotness and appropriate additional dose of different other spices. No authentic Indian food has 3-4 chopped green chillies inside a small cup of curry. To my bad luck chopped green chillies looked alike chopped green beans in the low light setting Which i had to carefully sort them out. Too expensive too.

Used to be a very good and must visit restaurant for Indian food, but my last visit changed my view.

Nice, tidy and clean Indian restaurant

Decent food. We were disappointed when the server said they did not have tap water which meant we had to buy bottled water. They weren't happy we were sharing a meal. In the end we loved the food and would have visited again under different circumstances.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had – my personal top three! Each bite was a unique explosion of flavor. I especially recommend the 3-course menu for two – not only is it beautifully curated, but it’s also more than enough to satisfy even the hungriest appetite. The service was outstanding from the very first moment – attentive, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful. An absolute must-visit for anyone coming to Amsterdam! Wow, came here based on the trip advisor reviews which can be a bit sketchy sometimes but this place is amazing. Would recommend the Dal Bhat dishes which give you a selection of veg, meat curry, lentil curry (dal) as well as rice and a little bit of pickle. Went great with a naan!

INSANELY DELICIOUS SPOT. If you don't like tons of spice and flavor, this isn't the spot for you. The Yeti was one of the best meals during our 2.5 week trip through Europe. The spicy momo was the best I've ever had. 10/10 will visit again on another trip to the area.

We arrived around 9:30pm on King’s Day and were lucky to get a table. We started with a couple of starters, which were lovely. Then we made the rookie mistake of ordering vindaloos—much hotter than we’re used to! Totally our fault though, as we should’ve asked the waiter for advice on the heat levels. We also ordered a chow mein, which was delicious. The service was good and the wine was too. It was on the pricier side, but to be fair, we knew that. All in all, I’d definitely recommend a visit—just a heads-up that the Vindaloo is seriously hot. Go for a Madras if you prefer something milder. Enjoy!

We walked into the restaurant to try their Momos. As soon as we walked in, we felt not welcome by the waiters. We were already feeling uncomfortable by the experience. We managed to order food and the food came quite quickly. We started tasting the food, despite the initial hiccup the experience started to pickup. However the evening went from bad to worse, when we found cockroach in the sauce. We reported this to the waiter, he took the plate away, we expected an apology. He later brought a replacement and offered that we don't pay for it and to be fair he apologized at that point. The replacement had the new sauce but we decided to avoid this as we couldn't unsee the cockroach int he sauce anymore. We finished our meal paid our bill and couldn't wait to get out. At that point anything that was happening gave us a bad vibe.

An evening at The Yeti was an unforgettable evening. Warm welcome and friendly staff. The menu looked so delicious that I didn't know what to choose. With the help of the friendly waiter and my wishes I enjoyed a delicious starter, main course and dessert. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The food was excellent. Couldn't have wished for better. A nice cozy restaurant with top service. Definitely worth a try.

In particolare, ho apprezzato tantissimo la zuppa con noodle e pollo (chicken thukpa), e la consiglio vivamente; ho anche assaggiato dei momo nepalesi al pollo, buoni anche se a mio avviso la zuppa era superiore; ho avuto anche modo (e spazio) di spizzicare un pò di focaccia (naan) all'aglio e un buon mango lassi. Costo totale: 49,60 EUR. Ci tornerò.

I usually give Nepali restaurants good rating to promote Nepali restaurants in foreign countries, but i had very bad experience here. We ordered "Chicken C momo" and they asked me about the level of spicy. I told them "No spicy (Only European level spicy)", which was supposed to be very low/No spicy at all. Instead I got all our food super spicy. I even asked them to change them, which they tried but then I got back same momo that they took with same level of spicy. My stomach was upset and tongue got burned and couldn't eat anything for few days. I asked them to pack rest of my food(Biryani) so that i can eat later, which was again super spicy that i had to throw them away. After all this, I was amazed that they didn't even try to make things right and were asking me for tips.

Incredible food and their chicken tikka masala is a top contender for most delicious ctm I’ve ever had. I came in a little late just before closing time, and they warned me that all they could make was a ctm. I was hungry and accepted their offer with a rice and cheese naan. The curry was very flavorful and hearty, and struck a good balance with the amount of chicken served with the dish. Very impressed with The Yeti and will likely go back before the end of my trip.

This is my 3rd experience in The Yeti. The food was amazing as always, the Saag was a little too salty but still delicious. On this trip to The Yeti the waiter was quite rude towards the end. I don’t know why, he hurried us out and wasn’t pleasant about it. We left a good tip. We don’t drink so we weren’t loud ! I get it that everyone has their bad moments in the day but my man, you were 2 mins away from giving us a 10/10 experience and me giving you a 5 star review. Pity.

We ate dinner here one evening, the place is small with steep steps up to the entrance. The food was good and the service was good. Prices were average (not cheap). Menu choices were varied with options for most. The place was very popular so I would advise booking before if you want to guarantee a table.

And when I asked if I could get a corner table - he snapped saying we didn’t have a reservation when we did. Issue is - I saw them happily give the best tables to all the non Indians

The most amazing Indian Food I have ever had! The starters as well as the main dishes (Chicken Vindaloo) were super tasty and as spicy as one would expect the cuisine to be. Absolutely can highly recommend! And don‘t get distracted by the fact that the restaurant is located near the red light district.
