Bij CiCo in Breda centrum

We zijn afgegaan op de recensies op TripAdvisor en die waren terecht goed. Vooraf de brie tompouce en carpaccio. Op de tompouce niets aan te merken; erg lekkere smaken en niet té ’kazig’. Carpaccio was ook goed maar combinatie met hele oude kaas in plaats van Parmezaan was voor ons niet zo’n succes, en het miste voor ons iets zuurs zoals een kappertje. Als hoofdgerecht de steak en Blue Dog hamburger. Steak was mooi rood/rare, de seizoensgroenten vielen met een paar geroosterde tomaten wat tegen. Hamburger was goed van smaak en rijk belegd, met lekkere saus. Vlees alleen te ver doorbakken, had rosé mogen/moeten zijn. Alles bij elkaar goed, maar vanwege de kanttekeningen in verhouding tot de best forse prijzen geen 5 uit 5.

The fries were delicious, and the person who brought our food was very kind and quick. The only thing that wasn't great was the chives; they were dried out. Everything else was good. 👍

Denk je een broodje kaas te bestellen, nou hou je vast want het werd meer een broodje-oude-kaasbeleving! Ik heb nog nooit zo'n lekker broodje kaas gegeten. Ik kom hier zeker terug, ben wel benieuwd naar al dat ander lekkers...

If you enjoy culinary delights, this restaurant is a must. You start with a warm welcome with some amuses and a drink. The pata negra is also very good. The dishes are good and creative and look beautiful. You want to lick the sauces completely; really tasty! The signature dish with piccalilly does the family name justice and is an absolute must. The service is very friendly and the Somali knows his wines. If you want, you can order a matching wine with each dish. The dessert wine with the raspberry dessert was very good.

What a wonderful evening we had in the garden of this restaurant. Delicious food, highly recommended! We would love to come back soon.
