We found this place through a social deal, so our expectations were somewhat tempered. But we were pleasantly surprised! The service was extremely friendly, the atmosphere was truly cozy, and the food was absolutely fantastic! The portions were generous, and everything tasted equally delicious! It's great to find this gem in your own hometown through a social deal!

A lovely place with a menu that offers something for everyone. We visited with a Social Deal, which kept the price reasonable. Friendly service. You can taste the chef's passion.

Small, narrow restaurant. About 32 seats, plus a private area with another 30 seats. Food: plentiful and good. The restaurant is narrow and long, and when the entrance door opens, a lot of cold air seeps in through the floor. There's also an outdoor terrace, but it wasn't being used at the time.

The food was delicious, the staff were super friendly, and above all, there was a lot of food! The spare ribs were amazing, and the fries were enough for two. Definitely recommended!

My mother and I took the bus from Dordrecht to have lunch here. The restaurant is a bit hidden in a residential area, but it's a real gem. We received a very friendly welcome. The lunch menu offers a wide range of delicious and surprising dishes. We chose Tyler's uitsmijter (fried eggs with bell peppers, pork belly, and local cheese). It was delicious. While we waited, we were served a delicious amuse-bouche. We highly recommend Tyler's food bar.

We had a truly delicious meal, the service was exceptionally friendly, the starter was a huge surprise, fantastic! The main course was a beautiful tournedos on a bed of vegetables, superb. The dessert was also delicious, and all for a reasonable price.

We didn't like the food, peanut sauce was dark goo and as thick as peanut butter. Floor behind the counter didn't look good... too dirty to get. Milkshakes super sweet not to be wet. Not worth repeating for us.

Normally, fries are great. We love them. But yesterday we ordered fries, had them delivered, and they were soggy, wrinkled, and tasteless. I had a stomach ache all evening. No idea why they were so bad this time.

Incredibly good cuisine. We have eaten there many times and it was always delicious but at Christmas it was super festive and delicious.

The asparagus soup with ham and egg was delicious. The steak too, nice and large size and just right. Salmon was also fantastic. Everything was good. It's just right. Both the starter and the not childishly portioned fish and fries and the dessert platter were so tasty... this is where you should go if you want a nice and cozy meal in Papendrecht. We recently went again and the quality remains unchanged, very good. We will definitely be back! 5*

The food is absolutely top. I can only recommend it, but the service could be worked on. Even though the shop only had 3 tables, you had to keep drawing attention to yourself to get something to drink or order something. That was annoying, but the food made up for it.

It was very quiet when we were there, but that must have been due to the time or the day (on a Wednesday) because what delicious food there! Well prepared and a lot on your plate! Highly recommended!!

The food was very good! It was a pity that it took a very long time before the main course and dessert were served. Too long. I think they were very busy on Sunday with the snack bar area so the restaurant had to wait longer. Furthermore, it was very quiet in the restaurant (3 tables occupied), but the music was quite loud, which made the atmosphere a bit less pleasant. But again the food was very good and that's the most important thing!

Ordered for the first time from the Bistro Basic snack bar and wow! What a delicious meal I had. Large portions and great taste. The fries, stew with truffle mayo and parmesan cheese is definitely recommended! The creamy sundae was also delicious 😍 will definitely order more often!

It was busy that Saturday evening with several larger groups. As a result, we (4 people) were given a table in a fresh corner with windows on 2 sides next to the entrance. The entrance doors did not close on their own, resulting in guests from various groups. tables at the entrance took turns closing their doors but closed after smokers outside the window had lit their cigarettes or new guests had entered. We didn't have the impression that anything was wrong with the doors that evening for the first time. The hostess was overly friendly. The other, younger, staff are accurate. The quality of the kitchen is undoubtedly excellent. It's a pity that the cutlery was not adjusted for the chosen meat or fish dishes. It is clear that the quality of the kitchen makes up for a lot in our assessment.

Na reservering en bevestigingsmail, bleken ze na aankomst gesloten…. als je dan met 2 kids aan de gesloten deur staat is dat even omschakelen en dan is junkfood de enige snelle optie. geen excuses of wat dan ook… als je reserveert dan verwacht je dat ze open zijn toch ?

We go out to eat quite often, but I have hardly ever had such a relaxing and pleasant experience. What a cozy, nice and clean place. The food is super good and at an affordable price. You can just look into the kitchen there and have a chat with the owner. Conclusion?? nothing to complain about and we will definitely come back.

Na 2 Coronajaren waarin wij diverse keren een afhaalmenu hebben besteld, nu ter ere van ons 46jarige huwelijk weer persoonlijk in de Bistro wezen eten. Heel gezellige sfeer, prima verzorgd en lekker diner, en vriendelijke bediening. Dus een aanrader voor iedereen die zich eens lekker wilt verwennen. Kortom, Koken bediening, Chapeau.

Small but nice Neat restaurant in the middle of Papendrecht with plenty of free parking spaces. Professional, friendly service who sensed when to appear at your table and served the dishes on time in a relaxed manner. Onion soup presented in a handy bowl/dish. Salmon well prepared rosé with sufficient and tasty garnishes. Too bad about the overcooked fries and the many small hard pieces. Beers tapped to death. Otherwise given a 10. Certainly worth a try considering the price/quality

Zalig gegeten. Bediening top. Voorgerecht uiensoep en andere dingen. Hoofdgerecht varkenshaas sate. Anderen hadden spareribs en dessert had ik chocolade ijs en brownie, anderen hadden dame blanche, crème brulee . Echt genoten

Food was tasty, only Main menu, 1 person had to wait a long time for the food compared to the rest, we had almost finished it when she still had to start, there were 13 people, it was very uncomfortable for her. Friendly staff.
