It's a deadly spot near their patio. I was at that restaurant that evening. When I went outside and tried to walk across the patio, I didn't see there was a step down. As a result, I fell hard, face first, onto a stone parasol base.

What a lovely place to return to often. Extensive menu, friendly staff, nice location, looking forward to the terrace in summer.

I had lunch at Jut & Jul today, and honestly… it was better than expected. The kind of place where you think within two minutes: "Ah, they're actually having a good day." The service was friendly, fast, and so efficient that I wanted to check if they might have secretly hidden extra caffeine in the kitchen. The food was excellent. No cheesy snacks that make you hungry again after five minutes, but proper portions. Delicious, generous, flavorful. You feel taken seriously as a guest, and that's almost a luxury these days. And then the restrooms. Spotless. As if someone pops in every ten minutes for a little "zen and hygiene." Plus points for the tampons in the women's restroom. A small effort, a big gesture, and it says everything about how customer-friendly they are. The atmosphere? Cozy, warm, and without that contrived "look how hip we are" attitude. Just a place where you immediately feel at home. In short: go. Really. Jut & Jul does everything well and many catering establishments can still learn from it.

What a lovely place this is! We're fans of the shared dining concept at Jut & Jul. They offer a variety of dishes, from meat and fish to vegetarian! Besides shared dining, they also offer a starter and main course. The dessert menu also has plenty of delicious options. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The dishes are tasty and beautifully presented. The service is always friendly and helpful 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

We had another delicious meal at this restaurant today. If I may mention one point, it's the varying quality and flavor of the dishes. I understand that every chef puts a different spin on a dish, but it's annoying when different ingredients are used in each dish, especially if they're not listed on the menu.

What a lovely place! Excellent service, very friendly people (with a sense of humor) working there. We were seated near the kitchen, and the atmosphere felt very relaxed. The food was amazing, and the Jut en Jul plank was delicious. I'd happily drive all the way from Zeeland just for it.

Papendrecht was on our itinerary on a bike trip from Amsterdam to Brugge. One of us had a birthday so we chose Jut and Jul. We sampled a lot of delicious food including "Rib fingers" (boneless pork ribs in BBQ sauce) and "French Fries Jut" which were sweet potato fries with truffle mayonnaise, pine nuts, bacon and parmesan. We also had a pumpkin curry dish (cauliflower and mushroom were the "substance" of that dish) served with rice and naan. Also, we ordered a beef poke bowl. I can't say which was my favorite. A special shout out to our server "Stefan". What a sweet, charming, and professional human being. We hope to return one day.

I bought a three-choice lunch menu voucher through Social Deals. It's a personal preference, but I was disappointed. The first menu was the soup of the day, with no choice or alternative. We got mustard soup, which we didn't like, and their option was: just leave it. The second menu offered two steak sandwiches, salmon, and tuna, or a vegetarian sandwich. The final menu was ice cream, with no coffee, tea, or pastries. While the menu offered plenty of choices, the prices were ridiculous.

Delicious carpaccio salad. Good value for money, but what keeps us coming back is the friendly and helpful staff. They really care about people, and thank you again!

The food certainly wasn't bad. However, waiting a total of 2.5 hours for food is absolutely ridiculous. And then there's the constant asking for drinks. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, but if you want a regular meal, be aware that it takes a very long time.

I had a carpaccio sandwich today. The price is high compared to the quality. The bread actually tasted awful. Stale and lacking flavor. The carpaccio, however, was perfectly fine. I did mention it to the waitress, and I didn't have to pay for my drink. I hope they'll look into the quality internally, because I think quality keeps your customers. And I wish you all the best.

The food was delicious and more than enough. The service was very friendly and attentive. The wines were also lovely! We had a small tip, and it was handled well and professionally. Highly recommended!

Everything was great! Simply delicious. Fast service...they did leave a bit of time between dishes, but that didn't bother us.

Ordered surf and turf but it took a long time to come and the food was lukewarm. It wasn't mega busy or anything. The noise outside was very annoying.

Tonight the four of us had dinner via Social Deal, every dish looked like a painting, you could see and taste that the chef has a love for his profession, it was really delicious! What a great restaurant, delicious food. My father was with me, he was not feeling well and almost choked. Stefan immediately came to help, what a great person, I am so grateful to him. We will visit again tomorrow and will definitely eat there more often.

Timing of the food was not good. The fries came after I had finished my bid. In addition, my plate was cold, which meant that the food was partly cold when it was served. The food itself is not very special either. For example, the presentation of two chosen main courses is identical except that the meat is different. The pork belly appetizer in bapao is also nothing to write home about. The pork belly is overcooked and tough. The price-quality ratio is poor.

The food was far too little and the taste was not great. When I saw my plate with trio of fish (pieces of 2 by 3 cm) I was very shocked, I have never seen such a small portion served in a restaurant. The price is also not in proportion to what you get. I had to eat mountains of fries to satisfy my hunger and I lacked a decent 200 grams of vegetables. I still went home very hungry. The service was okay, but it took a long time for the food to be delivered. The atmosphere; the room was very dark. Not worth repeating.

The evening started promisingly: the soup of the day was surprisingly tasty and was served quickly. Unfortunately, things went terribly wrong with the main courses. Firstly, we were told that the mussels that go with the red gurnard were gone. That can happen, but the solution provided was disappointing. I would get extra grilled veggies or more fish. What I ended up with was a little bit of risotto with three tiny pieces of red gurnard on top, a few bimis and some decoration. It seemed like they wanted to make a culinary presentation, but the result was a meager plate that was completely out of proportion to the price. On the other hand, there was an ordinary bowl of fries with mayonnaise. As if the idea was that you first eat a main course that is too small and then just use the fries to fill your stomach. For a main course of €27.50, I simply expected more. This felt more like a failed attempt at fine dining combined with a snack bar solution. All in all a big disappointment. The soup was good, but the waiting time and the value for money of the main courses were below par. We won't be coming back here anytime soon. My wife wanted to make a reservation for next Saturday to have lunch with her friend... but she didn't!!

It was cold at the top. The food was very mediocre and what was on the menu as with salad or bread was not served with the dish. (?) A guest at our table was forgotten with the drinks. And we ran out of toilet paper. All in all a flop.

Ate here today. Pre-made bread board with melted herb butter in a pan, homemade aioli and olive oil. Then carpaccio and beef tataki. As a main course diamond tenderloin and long-haired chicken. Delicious homemade mango/blueberry/cinnamon ice cream. Nice service

If you want to eat well with a large group in Papendrecht, this is an excellent opportunity. The staff at Jut & Jul were cheerful and quick and the food tasted very good. The diamond tenderloin was very tender. We had to move on quickly, otherwise it would have been nice to stay here a little longer and enjoy the menu more.

Our visit to Jut and Jul was unfortunately disappointing. We arrived at 6:00 PM and immediately ordered our starter and main course. The restaurant was not busy: besides another table dining, there were only guests having drinks. Still, it took a very long time for the food to arrive; our starter was not served until 7:15 PM, and the main course did not follow until 8:30 PM. In addition, the allergen information on the card did not match reality. Someone in our group has a severe lactose intolerance, and although the menu indicated that the flatbread and aioli did not contain dairy products, this turned out to be incorrect. Only upon inquiry was it reported that the menu was under revision and that both dishes did contain dairy. This caused discomfort and confusion. The quality of the food varied. The starters were reasonable, but the main courses were disappointing: they focused more on presentation than on taste and did not arrive warm at the table. When we carefully indicated that we found the food bland and not tasty, especially given the long waiting time, the waitress responded in a derogatory manner by stating that this was a matter of personal taste. When we challenged this as a group we were eventually offered a free drink. Overall the experience was disappointing. Although the interior looked cozy, the waiting times, incorrect allergen information, and the way our feedback was handled were major negatives. For us, unfortunately, this is a "once, but never again."

It is no longer called Jut and Jul, What a nice evening we had. The atmosphere is really cozy, the food is very tasty and the staff is very nice! Everyone is answered, served and cleared away with a smile. The dishes are really sufficient. You can look into the kitchen and it is really nice to see the lady at the pizza oven busy. Furthermore, "everything" can be done there, the children can walk (or skate) back and forth, but that does not feel irritating. In short, we will definitely come back!!

Food is fine. Breadboard surprising and delicious. Rump steak very tender. Rib fingers quite fatty. Too bad you are offered table water, which ends up on the bill for €6.50. This may be stated in advance if it is offered.

Delicious food. Had a delicious carpaccio sandwich with a bun. It was certainly well invested. Was full right away. Staff was wonderfully cheerful. So this is definitely worth repeating. You can sit on the terrace, but despite the nice weather we chose to sit inside. I think it's certainly not too bad in terms of price. For lunch with just the two of us, it wasn't too bad. The atmosphere is also nice because of the friendly staff walking around.

I have been here several times in a small group and each time has been a treat.The staff are super friendly and professional always making sure you have what you need. We've had food to share and individual meals all very tasty. If you haven't been here then make the time to try this gem and I'm sure like me you will come back again.

Delicious food! Friendly staff. We only believe that the terrace should be smoke-free. People were standing at the door smoking, while the servants had to pass by with their dishes. Even if you have a table nearby, it is not pleasant when people smoke near you.

A cozy café that lives up to the name, one disadvantage is limited food due to allergies, which makes it difficult to make a choice. That said, a solution is being thought through carefully.

Had a cappuccino there this afternoon. I had just finished the cup and placed it on the table and the cup was immediately taken away. Really indecent.

We both had the rib fingers with a good salad. Delicious, no hassle like with spare ribs, but that tasty meat. The service was young, but very professional! We will definitely come back to experience the shared dinner part.

Nice meal. Service is customer-oriented and friendly. The dishes were prepared with tasty and fresh products. It's a pity that smoking is allowed on the terrace. Doors to the terrace were open, allowing smoke to come in during our meal. People with lung problems suffer from this, including my partner. Dessert had to be skipped for this reason.

The food was well prepared, especially the vitello tonato and the trio of fish were very popular. However, it turned out to be more expensive than expected, but this may have been our own wrong assumption. €108 for two starters, a truffle fries and main courses. Furthermore, 3 glasses of wine and 2 cups of coffee. We had to wait an hour before we could order, but it was also a very busy evening. Food was fine, but price-quality technically it doesn't quite match up. Service was nice and attentive. Restaurant is a bit noisy.

They can't make Yrish coffee, no whipped cream. No sugar. Served in a wine glass. Food was fair to good. missed the lemon with the fish. You had to talk very loudly to understand each other. Very noisy business. Not for us a second time.

Delicious food for a reasonable price. I thought the drinks were relatively expensive. That came as a bit of an unpleasant surprise. There are no prices on the beer menu. My expectation was that the craft beer would be as reasonably priced as the food. Unfortunately that was not the case.
