Fresh food, a cozy, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly service. Definitely worth eating here.

Recently held a birthday party in the Chef's "living room." The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and was large enough for a group of 22. The service was very friendly, and the appetizers were excellent. Highly recommended! We were very well informed beforehand, and event manager Laura took care of everything.

We had a wonderful meal at this charming restaurant with an open kitchen. It's located just outside the town center on an access road (so easily accessible by car) and has a large (free) parking lot. We were served by two waiters, both of whom were very helpful and pleasant. We had a delicious meal at a great price. The extensive drinks menu was surprisingly extensive.

We had a dinner reservation here. When we arrived, no one noticed us, so we finally asked someone which table we could sit at. It wasn't busy, but it took fifteen minutes to get the drinks menu. After that, it took another fifteen minutes to get our drinks, even though our order wasn't complicated: coffee and soft drinks. The food was served a bit more quickly, after a bit of a wait for the dinner menu (we checked the website for the menu in the meantime). The second round of drinks also took a long time. When Kemal asked for another cup of coffee, he was asked if it was possible to arrive sooner, and it was served within a minute—so apparently, it is possible. All in all, a unique experience.

Practically around the corner, in Papendrecht itself, we had a delicious meal! We highly recommend it; everything was perfectly prepared and delicious.

In our group, there was someone with lactose intolerance and someone with diabetes. You prepared fantastic dishes for us! The breakfast was also extensive, delicious, and fresh. What a treat! The food is prepared with love, and you can taste it. My eight-year-old daughter loved it too; it was so nice that she could make her own ice cream. We had a wonderful evening, thank you!

Pure indulgence. Highly recommended. The friendly team will make you feel like a prince and princess. Very efficient and passionate. We opted for the surprise menu: beautifully presented and delicious, it was perfect. Also definitely try the beer from the local brewer in Papendrecht: the Gantelwasser. It's named after the Gantel River. The Trippel is excellent.

Demi took good care of us, very attentive and friendly service. We had to wait in the beginning but once Demi took over everything was sorted. Food was delicious!

The restaurant is overpriced. €26 for an "XL" burger, the size of a frog. The staff was nice, but I also felt sorry for them, as they probably only earn minimum wage. Do not go there under any circumstances.

We have been here twice for dinner. The first time with four people and the second time with eleven people. The first time was absolutely fantastic, very friendly service, good explanation of the dishes and the food was really great. For the second time we had thought that a shared starter would be very nice. We discussed this in advance with the restaurant and that was really a bull's eye. Nicely served on large planks, something for everyone. The main course seven times bavette was a bit disappointing for almost everyone, we are used to (much) better. The dish with the chicken was too dry. The desserts and coffee with something tasty were fine. The service was again fine. Conclusion: varying quality.

Friendly staff. The lunch menu was not yet active, but the chef was still prepared to make 2 delicious omelettes for us. Fresh products and delicious bread.

Me and my boyfriend frequent Chef's as often as possible. We love the atmosphere and of course the food and drinks. The service is always excellent from the entire serving staff. Yesterday, however we went to Chef's for a Christmas dinner and it surpassed all of our expectations. Not only the 5 course meal was insanely delicious, but our waitress, Chanel, was making sure we are very comfortable and guided us through every dish. It was a really wonderful experience. Thank you Chanel! Oh and please order the pornstar martini when there , it's illegally tasty 🤗❤️

Once again a regular occurrence, a Christmas day at Chefs restaurant. In addition to Mother's Day and Easter, we also like to come here at Christmas! Fantastic food, but the service was also great! I forgot to ask your names, but we were given a great welcome by a nice young man, who, in addition to his female colleague, gave us a great evening. I have been here before and let me start by saying that I had a delicious meal. I did that again on Sunday December 8 because I didn't feel like cooking for myself. I ordered a chef's fried chicken with a spicy brown bean soup beforehand, some at the end and a glass of white wine. And that for less than 50 euros. I did pay for that. The service was excellent, in short, a good address to come back to.

12-8-2024 We spent another night in Hotel Papendrecht. It was nice to see everyone again and have fun. It's just a shame that after 3 years Angel [has to go] Was always positive and a smile on her face It's a shame, but they made the choice

If you want to eat something, you should definitely not come here. Food was good. Chicken burger tasty. The spare ribs were too fatty for my taste. This makes it very tender, so it's a matter of taste. The service is very friendly, everything is possible. But all together it looks a bit messy. I had the feeling that we were a bit forgotten all evening. We had to ask for our menu ourselves, it took a very long time between courses. Especially from the main course to dessert, waiting more than half an hour for a coffee and treats (which is highly recommended) is too long for me. I noticed that the soft drink bottles were a lot smaller, 200 ml.

We had a delicious meal there. Service is excellent, it was not "quiet" in the restaurant, although time was taken to explain the menu. The menu is quite extensive with contemporary and special dishes. The interior is also very beautiful and well cared for!

Staff were particularly helpful & friendly. We were part of a group but always treated individually. Our superb waitress Demi B particularly stands out as efficient & wonderful personality.

Fantastic staff make this a fantastic hotel restaurant. The daily specials offer a nicely balanced three courses and the full menu has something for everyone. In the summer they open a chilled terrace eating area that won't be beaten in Papendrecht for an evening suntrap with a nice vibe.

We have enjoyed the delicious dishes here several times. A great address for both lunch and dinner! There is a special children's menu for children, with good, nutritious dishes.

Lovely spot great food and atmosphere! We just had Fish and chips but very good! Oh and when they say mint tea.. they mean it!

Food had no taste and was cold. Price-quality ratio is not right at all. In addition, the kitchen closed at 9am without communicating this. This means no option to order dessert, very sloppy and no service. Your coat will be taken upon arrival and you will be told where you can get it when you leave. We said something about this to each other, probably heard it and our coat was still collected. Special service this way. Definitely not recommended to eat here. Way too expensive for what you get.

We regularly sit here for a cup of coffee with or without cake, this time a lunch to celebrate our birthday, the food was delicious and the crème brûlée is an absolute must, the service is always so very nice and attentive, actually it is hidden gem of Papendrecht. We would love to come back again.
