What a lovely atmosphere, fantastic service, the food was simple and delicious.

We went together with my family on a Tuesday lunch and it was just perfect. Well located, good food, proper price-quality ratio. I defenitly recommend it, they took care of us even in Spanish, that was lovely, and accommodate us properly in a nice spot with the baby strawler. Will return

I loved everything we ordered. The people are amazing and the food is even better. They have these cute cards on the table, which can be used as ice breakers! Loved that.

We had a very disappointing experience here. Despite calling the staff multiple times — even walking up to the counter — we were ignored repeatedly. After the third attempt, someone finally approached us, but with visible frustration. Even after placing our order, we weren’t served for another 15 minutes. At that point, we decided to leave and speak with a supervisor. Surprisingly, we were told, “We didn’t see you,” even though we were sitting right in front of the main entrance. We understand that busy moments can happen, but the attitude and lack of basic courtesy were truly unacceptable.

We had to wait for 30minutes for the waiters to come and get our orders. After we ordered, we had to wait another 20 minutes and finally made a complain to the waiter. And he was very impolite and said you are sitting in the corner of the restaurant and we font attend that part of the restaurant that much. After 50minutes we left without being served !!!

There was a hair in your food. They didn't even apologize to us even though we told them. They wouldn't even extend our food and took the payment.

We were given a small table for 3 people, which was too crowded. Another waiter helped us merge another table. The service was friendly, the salad was refreshing, and the main course portion was okay!

Terrible! Had coffee with a friend and sat in the sun. Until we decided to order mint tea. The waitress didn't know which table she should be at so we said it was meant for us, in English and with a gesture of "talk to the hand" she said "No, not for you", after which she went to tables to ask who had ordered mint tea. She walked back to us and asked "for you"? Why I answered No, not for us. Her boss came to explain that she was new and whether we wanted to show understanding, but for us the tone had already been set and we wanted to pay. The bill was supposed to follow but that didn't happen. Only when we got up was it said On The House, but we were no longer welcome there due to a cultural issue that we had caused, according to the owner. We, 2 Surinamese friends, just wanted to sit on a terrace with a cup of mint tea.

Great food- iced latte and scrambled eggs with avocado.

We hadden 3 simpele biefstukjes met pepersaus besteld, het duurde lang voordat het eten kwam en toen het er was bleek dat ons vlees doorbakken was en dit terwijl wij om medium gevraagd hadden. De medewerker biedt aan een nieuwe te bakken maar wij gaven al eerder aan naar een concert te moeten, en we hadden al zo lang gewacht . De biefstuk was doorbakken en de pepersaus was amper te zien bizar dit. De medewerker gaf niet eens oog contact niet eens een excuses of misschien een tegemoetkoming van een drankje . We zijn niet geholpen door de medewerker die ons altijd helpt want dat is een top vent. Ik kom er al jaren we organiseren zelfs onze lunches met ons bedrijf en waren altijd tevreden. We gaan van af nu ergens anders heen. Heel erg jammer !

Ik begrijp dat alles heel duur geworden is maar als je voor de huiswijn € 8,10 gaat vragen terwijl je deze wijn voor 8,50 per fles in de winkel kan kopen ga je toch een stap te ver. Daarbij is de menukaart al ik weet niet hoe lang hetzelfde en niet bijzonder. ( niet slecht en niet zeer bijzonder) De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is ver te zoeken.

Super good alternative to breakfast, delicious food, nice service

I’ve been to this restaurant twice, and both times the experience was disappointing. The staff were unfriendly, the food was overpriced, and the brownie in particular was not only expensive but also far from fresh.

We had a lovely lunch experience. The food and food variety is great. A vegetarian, meat and fish lovers: we all had plenty of choice. The service team is welcoming, warm, helpful, alert, solves things immediately and gracefully: one of the oyster shelves was barely filled, no problem we immediately got a new one. We have already planned our next lunch in Bistro G.P. George

Met mijn tante hier lekker geluncht. Uitgebreide kaart, lekkere koffie en ontzeteend vriendelijke bediening. Lekkere break tijdens het winkelen. En omdat mijn tante 100 jaar was geworden deze week, kreeg ze een gebakje cadeau. Zo lief.

Wonderful place for lunch! The service is very hospitable and the menu attractive. I chose the salad nicoise, delicious with lukewarm, perfectly medium cooked tuna and a Caesar salad. The dishes tasted fantastic. Highly recommended to go.

George is nothing short of an amazing restaurant. The usual for me is the steak frites which is cooked amazingly and a very solid place for steak frites. The price in addition is very ok compared to other restaurants and the location. 😋😋

Very welcome and good hosting. You will be served above average and with warmth and feeling. Compliments. The food (and drinks) are also just good. No budget, but not expensive either. The tables and seating areas are on the small side, but temperature (control) in particular is an area for improvement. It was a chilly day, but it was drafty and cold (despite an extra gas heater nearby)

Wait 40 minutes and the order doesn't arrive, the manager didn't even come by to check what happened.

Good food, not complicated. Fresh and recognizable, not exciting or surprising. Fairly smooth. Service correct but sometimes absent. Atmosphere, remains in a busy environment, other guests do not interfere with each other, tables are close together and a bit small. Good lunch location, I would be less likely to do this for dinner.

I was served a burned-raisin-bread (from supermarket) instead of French Toast. Thank you but we are not stupid. This was way too much. (service is friendly, atmosphere is bistro style)

I was at this restaurant, and the waiter and I were joking around, after which he, as a joke, HIT ME ON THE HEAD WITH THE MENU. Such behavior unacceptable, both towards a woman and a customer. I’m never going back there.

Have been going to Bistro George for many years - Sammy always takes great care of us and the food is always excellent.

We just had drinks on the terrace, so I can't say anything about the food. Nice atmosphere but the service was a little slow and our guy kept forgetting things we ordered.

We had lunch here. We had a club sandwich and a Philly steak sandwich. The fries were cold with the club sandwich. When we spoke to the girl, she indicated that she could not speak Dutch. We told her the fries were cold in English and then she stood there and didn't say anything. Then we repeated ourselves and then her response was: “Relax! It's not my problem” SERIOUSLY???? What a crappy service. Never come here again. Another colleague took the plate and grabbed new fries. But this was really just hopeless! Super bad experience!

In a word TOP! From the ambiance to the service. No complaints about that, because we had TOP service. The food (lunch) was delicious. So recommended.

Lamento ser bastante negativo sobre este restaurante, pero si no quieres mayonesa salpicada sobre muchos otros elementos atractivos de los menús, y si no te importa el queso en su comida de noche, entonces este no es el lugar para estar. Aparte de eso, las porciones son pequeñas y "a la carta", lo que significa que tiene que pedir verduras y, digamos, arroz, papas o fideos aparte. Esto hace de George un lugar tal vez para el visitante bien escorado, pero no para alguien que quiere una comida razonablemente equilibrada a un costo razonable. De lo contrario, George es un lugar atractivo para venir.

The service was slow, the staff was normal-average friendly, we were helped by three different people. I don't think the price-quality ratio is right, €18 for a simple Caesar salad, which in my opinion is the size of a starter and therefore not filling at all, I think is very expensive. The chicken in the salad was tasty, by the way. Sweet potato fries with truffle mayonnaise, few fries, lots of sauce. When asked if everything was satisfactory, I gave an honest answer and that is why I was offered a cup of coffee. I won't be coming back here again.

Niet te eten, waardeloze bediening, slecht en goedkoop uitziend eten, maar je betaald de hoofdprijs, ik snap niet dat sommige mensen deze ballentent een aanrader vinden, weg met dat soort afzetterij "restaurants" maak plaats voor echt, kwaliteits eten, en puur voor een eerlijke prijs

We had a light brunch which was really good. The best part was the service of Omar. He is absolutely great! Professional and friendly.

Bad, food, expensive dish names, but meant nothing, club sandwich fried chicken, was just a sandwich topping, from the AH, much too expensive, what was on the plate seemed like a lot, but had a value of less than 4 euros , not recommended, people in this day and age need honest, pure and good food, that was not possible at this place.

This afternoon we had a delicious meal at "George's". Very friendly service and a warm welcome too! The salmon steak was buttery soft in combination with crispy corn, salad and crispy fries! Highly recommended!

Sisyphus will get his boulder to stay at the top of the hill before you get good service here. To start, the hostess(?) directed me to a table that was not cleaned, then seemed confused when I was asking for clarification on which table. My table as well as the one next to mine were missing several items. As far as the food, my wife's steak was somehow both cold and cooked properly when we received it. My mussles were bland, rubbery, and appeared to lack the broth in which they were cooked. A few had an off taste. I can't speak to my side as I never got it. We only ate here because this was the only place with an open availability. I can see why it was now.

I ordered here yesterday via Uber Eats. A fairly expensive order of 58 euros for 2 people. Paid 22 euros for a piece of burnt salmon without a side dish. The asparagus I ordered was not seasoned, there was not even salt or pepper on it. We also got 1 portion instead of 2. The sweet potato fries were soft. Overall a very overpriced experience for what you get in return. We won't eat here again.

22 euro betaald voor een stukje aangebrande zalm zonder bijgerecht. De asperges die ik besteld had waren niet gekruid, er zat niet eens zout of peper op. Ook kregen we 1 portie in plaats van 2. De zoete aardappel friet was zacht. Over het algemeen een hele overpriced ervaring voor wat je ervoor terug krijgt. We zullen hier niet opnieuw eten.

Had a delicious lunch. Friendly service. In terms of time, we were early for lunch, so it was still very quiet. But by the time we left it was already a bit busier (and therefore also more pleasant in terms of atmosphere).

Had a great birthday. We had made a reservation for 10 people. We opted for the 3 course menu. There were also vegetarian options so I could make everyone happy with the menu. All my guests enjoyed themselves and I especially had a wonderful evening. Food was perfect and super sweet staff. Most likely I will spend my birthday again next year at Bistro G.P. to celebrate!

It was freezing cold upon arrival and please don’t ever order the açai bowl here as this is what you get and a chipped bowl, no fresh fruit on top, no seeds no nothing and this for a shocking 12.5€… I was in shock, my aunt mentioned it at the end of our breakfast to ober and he kindly did offer a free coffee for us. But, I will never eat here again!

What a disappointment. Management responded to everything but did not deliver things. Supposedly all tables were reserved but remained empty when we were there. Very messy. And really bad service, we won't be back here. Too bad considering we live nearby, but all in all a major disappointment...

They had 2 chances which both failed!! Not tasty at all!! I only ate because I paid for it and was very hungry. I don't recommend coming here.

Goede service en mooie zaak. Heel leuk. Het eten is helaas niet te doen. Grote hompen vlees met pezen in de steak tartaar. Zo jammer dat het niet goed is! Frites met mayo wel goed.

2x geweest lunch. Als het lekker weer is kan je heerlijk buiten zitten, binnen vond ik iets minder. Eerste keer club sandwich zalm, niet iets speciaals maar wel erg lekker. Tweede keer broodje kreeft. Ook lekker maar gewoon zacht puntje en een beetje karig. Al met al welzeker een van de betere op het Gelderlandplein

I had a beyond burger which came with salad and fries. It was cooked perfectly. I also had Lemon meringue torte, which had amazing flavours and a melt in the mouth meringue. The restaurant was very chilled and casual and a nice place to unwind and relax with friends. The waiting staff were very friendly and had a good sense of humour. There were 2 vegetarian starters and 2 main meals so there was some choice. Service was at a great pace for a relaxed dinner. This was recommended to us by the hotel reception where we stayed and not too touristy.

Bijzonder vriendelijk bediening

I recently had the pleasure of having a lunch at G.P. by George and I must say, it was a fine culinary journey in a cosy atmosphere! From start to finish, every aspect of our lunch experience and the service was very good. The restaurant exudes an elegant and modern atmosphere with its shadow-rich terrace, stylish decor, and soft music playing in the background. It's the perfect place for a business lunch or a special celebration. Our lunch was delightful (Eggs Florentine and a Salade Niçoise with fresh tuna). We surely will pay the restaurant another visit in the future.

Fijne lunchplek! Prettige sfeer, gevarieerde kaart - voldoende vega en vis opties - en vooral hele vriendelijke mensen in de bediening. Je voelt je nog echt welkom! En Tiago heeft ‘service met een smile’ uitgevonden :) wat een topper is dat!
