Je t'aime Brasserie Amsterdam in Grachtengordel-Zuid

Wasn't even allowed to stand on their premises outside at night for some reason. Somehow got a security guard for that.

The cocktails were completely undrinkable so none of the 3 of us drank more than a few sips. The vibe was weird, some drama between the bar staff and a friend or family member. The staff were nice but the whole experience was just odd and bad.

Very nice and polite staff here but as a paying customer, you actually have to pay to use the bathroom.. is that every time you go? Absurd.

A 30-minute wait for four strong glasses. The glasses and the measures were so small it looked like a drop in a glass. When we pointed it out, the waitress agreed with us and said she also found the amount ridiculous, but also added that she doesn't make up the measurements. "It's downtown," she said. €5.50 for a 10ml shot. I'd already been through it, but I just had to leave a review. Too bad. 🥲

Beer half a year out of date and then also pay full price for a new beer. Euro 6.20. What bad service.

The place is cute and we had a nice time... until the very tall bouncer came and stared us down as though we had done something wrong. Such a scary guy, when we told him he was intimidating us he said "do I look scary?" We said "Yes, you're standing there glaring down at us!" He then proceeded to randomly interrupt our conversations over the next 2 hours, making very toxic comments to me about my female friends. Nasty stuff. Also, you have to pay to use the toilet. Ridiculous, to have someone sitting there for hours asking for 1 Euro. Add it to the price of the drinks! Such a dumb idea. Otherwise the place is really cute

To be honest have no clue what's is happening there during the day but Friday nights have a great atmosphere!

Première soirée à Amsterdam, nous cherchons un endroit pour dîner tranquillement et par hasard avons trouvé ce restaurant. D’un premier abord, on s’est dit que ça ne payait pas de mine, « Je T’aime », typiquement attrape touriste, mais avec un programme rodé nous avons quand même tenté. Nous avons été agréablement surpris d’abord par la réception, personnel attentionné, chaleureux et accueillant. Nous avons commandé des cocktails « surprise » (carte blanche au barman pour nous faire découvrir ses cocktails). Ils étaient su-cu-lants !!! Puis est venu le repas : malgré les a priori d’une brasserie, le repas était très très bon ! Un régal ! Vraiment ! Je conseille yeux fermés cet établissement :)

Muy agradecida de la primera noche en Ámsterdam con mis amigos, lo pasamos increíble gracias a la excelente atención de todo el personal, los precios correctos, el buen ambiente y la música proporcionada por el Dj siempre a la escucha de nuestras sugerencias. Si pudiera dar más estrellas lo haría 😃
