I'm surprised how little you get! The cappuccino cups look like espresso-sized ones. The sandwich is even thinner than a regular slice of bread. You do have a choice between a single or double slice. It's tasty, but very small.

The food was delicious. The service and atmosphere were good.

It was super busy yesterday at Blend! It took a while for me to get a drink, which made me a bit grumpy. But I still got incredibly friendly service, even though the staff was working incredibly hard. So, it was really stupid of me to react like that, apologies!! And kudos to the staff!!

I only had coffee and cheesecake here. Both tasted good, but the cappuccino was the size of an espresso, for €4.20, and the cheesecake was half the size of a regular slice, for €6. The service and view from the terrace were excellent. It's a shame it's way overpriced.

Always good coffee and something tasty

Our charming waiter, Sam, is a very smooth talker and gave us excellent recommendations on the menu. He came to our table frequently but was also quite adept at upselling. This should be the standard in Amsterdam's hospitality industry, but unfortunately, it's not the case everywhere. But we're incredibly happy with Sam!

5.45€ for a decaf latte? Staff was nice but the prices are ridiculously high.

The most delicious wine in a fantastic place

Very tasty food – one of the best coffees we've had, but also a bit pricey. We had breakfast here and were able to sit outside by the river.

I got married in the church next door, and I went to the café to ask if we could sit there with family and friends and order drinks and coffee. "But we have a small cake for the bride and groom. Can we eat it at your table?" The young man said yes, but then a woman standing next to him joined in the conversation and said no, that's not possible, because we have our own cake. Her manner was rude and unprofessional, but we went to the café next door, which welcomed us. They were extremely refined, and their drinks and coffee were delicious.

They said that the wouldn’t serve my lgbtq friend because their were their self. 0/10

Personeel was vriendelijk, koffie was lekker. Maar de lunch was slecht, ik heb het laten staan. Eivocado met een geporcheerd ei, dit ei mag je niet geporcheerd noemen. Tip: zachtgekookt ei is 10x smakelijker. Broodje is ongetoast zonder boter besmeerd met smakeloze avocado, zalm, tomaat en jalepeno, overgoten met siraga. Dit kan ik thuis nog lekkerder maken. Iets meer aandacht en een lekker sausje en je hebt een top lunch.

We've visited Amsterdam twice, and this is one of our absolute favorite spots. Right on the canal, very peaceful, delicious food and drink, and kind staff. Wish we could go every day! If we lived nearby, we would!!

Great place by the canal! We had calamari and flammkuhen, and an apple tart. Everything was perfect, and service so friendly! Perfect experience.

Top spot!!! I often come there, it's always super tasty and fast. Cozy atmosphere. The staff is always super sweet and pleasant. The perfect homemade ice tea. Highly recommended, especially for a date or if you are with friends or family!!!

Okay coffee (“wrong” instead of latte macchiato, which they don't have on the menu) but as soon as I ordered, they apparently started frying bacon and the whole store continued to stink. I just had lunch somewhere else. :-/

The waiters are so so friendly! And it has a lot of light. It doesn't attract the atmosphere that I exactly like most but it heel gezellig and nice to talk. It is not loud inside as it has high ceilings 😊

Waited 15 minutes to he served, ordered, then waited another 20-still didn’t bring us the drinks. Awful service.

Friendly staff. Pea soup was truly one of the worst I had ever eaten. Too thin, little flavor and a few slices of dry bacon, no smoked sausage, no filling and asking 9.50 for that is a rip-off. Too bad because otherwise it's a nice place, but I won't be back anytime soon.

A really nice place with delicious Italian coffee! You can also choose many tasty treats with your coffee and the lunch sandwiches are very tasty! Here you can sit comfortably, alone or together, and the location on the Ringvaart is also beautiful!

Upon arrival (4 p.m.), not one of the 4 staff members walking around paid any attention. 5 minutes later the order of the people next to us was taken and we were ignored. Our table was empty, so it wasn't like he could have imagined that we had already been helped. Then he walks away, grabs a cloth and starts cleaning tables. After another 5 minutes he brought the people next to us their wine, we raised our hands, but it went unnoticed. At one point he started cleaning tables on the other side of us, and when he took the sandwiches of the people next to us (so he walked past our table) from the bar, served them and walked away, it was for us the but full, we got up and walked away. What a strange, ridiculous situation, I won't come here anymore. I would prefer to give zero stars, but that is not possible. I can't judge the food because we didn't have any, but what I saw looked good. Shame.

We came to the caffe at 18:50 on Saturday and they told us they were closing. However according to google maps they are working till 21. Either change opening time or dont close 2 hours earlier

I came to the Blend for dinner with a friend, it was a surprise! As soon as we arrived the service was immediately prompt and friendly, to start we had an aperitif with chicken tostadas and an excellent prosecco. For dinner we wanted to try many dishes from the new menu, including meat and fish tartars, croquettes and paella: everything was excellent, delicious and well cooked! The wines were paired very well and finally the desserts were super: I definitely recommend the pistachio tiramisu! I have to say that we were very happy to come for dinner and will definitely return!

Food very expensive for the quantity. I wouldn't recommend it if you are very hungry. Service was mixed. 1 lady was very sweet and did her job well, but another lady was very rude, every time we asked something it seemed as if we were disturbing her. Food was tasty.

Recommended: Paella! Tasty! Good service too

April 2024 Good lunch but not spectacular, unfortunately the only tent in the area that was open. Menu has a lot of Vega, so not recommended for the carnivore. Service was okay, but no view of the order and after ordering we waited almost an hour for 2 slices of bread with Carpaccio. Handy because then you can order something to drink again. Outside you can sit along the water, and inside the tables are occupied by only people sitting on the computer with a cup of coffee. Not exactly inviting to sit in the library along the water. Toilet are clean.

Two cups of tea and a choice of five tea bags €8. This is really unheard of. Complete scam for two glasses of hot water. NEVER AGAIN!!!'

Relaxed coffee place, with a variety of drinks and snacks. Had an espresso and sat on the nice terrace on the water. Great service as well.

The place looks great on the outside (lots of light, next to the water) but not worth it. Expensive (4e for a single cappuccino, 9.75 for a thin slice of bread with pear and goat cheese) but the service is the worst. The table was sticky with empty cups and dishes of the previous customers that no one picked up in the 2hrs I was there. I had to beg the (very nonchalant) waiter to order, after 15mins of waiting. The food arrived immediately but I waited 30mins for the coffee. When I asked about it, the waiter said "it's on the way". And of course, the cherry on top in the Dutch horeca, I asked to pay. The waiter says OK. 20mins later and I was still waiting. Honestly I should've left without paying, it's unfathomable that a customer who wants to pay is not the staff's top priority.

I go here often because it's close to my house. The food and drinks are okay. Service is alright. The place in itself is spacious and cosy:)

€5,45 for a coffee (not even good) to go and even had to wait for 10 minutes, amongst crying children, to receive it.

Just not good. Card indicates quiche with Mediterranean salad. What do you get? 2 leaves of lettuce with sliced ​​olive on top with a delicious quiche in paper. If you order a separate breakfast today you will receive a mini croissant for 5 euros. Unbelieveable. Some of the staff are very unfriendly and absolutely not suitable for the catering industry. Oh yes, if you are still hungry after your visit, there is still plenty of food in the heating. It's really ridiculous that this restaurant still exists! Never again. Definitely recommended for my followers!

The atmosphere is really nice, very chill and cosy by the water. Always a great place to relax, have a cup of coffee. The chocolate cake with cream is also very good. Only bad thing is the service, with generally a long waiting time for your order.

Wij hebben er lekker gegeten. De bediening was vriendelijk en allert. Ik had mindere reviews gelezen dus was wat huiverig. Viel reuze mee. Het is een mooie plek in Oostpoort, onze buurt,dus proberen maar. De sfeer en swung zou iets beter kunnen! Jong personeel die hun werk doen. Ik miste iets,snap je? Verder goed!

De plek aan het water is fijn. Verder gebrek aan kennis en passie van de bediening. Plantaardige melk met alleen maar ongezonde ingrediënten zoals plantaardige oliën en soja. Weinig tot geen gluten vrije opties, wel ingevroren ingekochte zoetigheid. 3,95 euro voor warm water en een stukje gember.

We, mijn zus en ik waren bij de indrukwekkende tentoonstelling in Framer Framed geweest. Daarna namen we plaats bij jullie op het terras. Wat een goede, leuke bediening! Probably one of my favourites terraces in Oost. Facing the water, cozy atmosphere and acceptable food. We had the risottini (was delicious) and some flammkuchen. Service is sometimes slow but staff is very friendly.

2 coffee and 2 slices of cake (less than 1 cm thick) price ==>> E20. Completely crazy. Dirty table, poor (and slow service). Ask them exactly what you will get because I have seen a lot of pies and cakes but never as less as today. Never ever again this place.

De plek is prima om af te spreken, maar verder is het verre van goed. Ceasar salad met 4 plakjes kipfilet, hoe diep kun je zakken als restaurant. Paar blaadjes sla en klaar! Onacceptabel. De smokey-salmon was zeker zo armoedig qua opmaak en smaak. Een no-go voor 25 euro de man - lunch.

De koffie en taartjes zijn echt aardig aan de prijs! Terras lekker aan het water.

Je wordt altijd ontvangen met een glimlach, al is het ontzettend druk in stralende zon. Een ontzettend gezellige sfeer en lekkere drankjes, zeker een aanrader!

Ik kwam hier heel erg vaak lunchen. Helaas kwam ik laatst binnen en hadden ze me favo broodje van de menukaart gehaald. Het broodje Vitello tonnato is zo lekker, maar helaas niet meer te krijgen

It is a lovely place along the water, very relaxing. Unfortunately though the service was not good. I ordered a cappuccino with 2 croissants. The croissants were brought before coffee and water. When i commented though the waiter was very nice and quickly rectified it. However i had worse luck with the second cappuccino i ordered. It never arrived and after about twenty minutes or so I went inside to see about what happened, as no staff came outside for a while. When i asked, the blonde waitress on duty answered she had indeed served me a cappuccino so it must be a misunderstanding. This was said none too friendly. I said i had ordered a 2nd one but she disputed that:-) Luckily the waiter i ordered it from admitted i had ordered it from him. As no smile or excuses were forthcoming, i insisted that this one should now be “on the house” When she brought it out she said it was indeed “on the house” and therefore it was the last she wanted to hear about it:-) And here i thought this was the hospitality industry where service with a smile is essential. I admit there has been very little to smile about, also not in mine (incoming tourism) for the past year and a half, but that is still no excuse to treat customers that way:-) Alas i will not return, with or without friends. Too bad😢😢😢

Terras is heerlijk! Aan het water met uitzicht op leuke Amsterdamse huisjes zit je hier top. De flammkuchen en huisgemaakte limonade zijn hier echt een aanrader!!
