We had a wonderfully delicious pea soup on a beautiful autumn day. It was beautifully served with a variety of bread, puff pastry, and tortilla chips! Enjoy!

A must-visit for us when we're in Veere. The food is delicious, the service is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere in the heart of the historic city is simply wonderful. Unfortunately, Veere is often overcrowded during the day, so a visit after 4:00 PM is recommended, when most of the tourists have already left.

Enjoy a drink on the most charming square in the most charming town in the Netherlands. Enjoy a beer and some snacks during your stroll, or a delicious breakfast from the adjacent bakery in the morning. Delicious.

A little insider tip for the Netherlands. The little town of Veere is incredibly beautiful, and Bliek has the best breakfast ever.

Unfriendly staff. They do have gluten-free options, which is a plus.

Had a nice lunch last week and yesterday coffee with one of the most delicious apple pies ever. The coffee was also delicious. Both times very friendly staff! Also nice to sit on the beautiful Market. They see us here more often!

A wonderful place to stop and take a break. Sitting outside on the terrace under the trees is wonderful. Highly recommended for pancakes, coffee, croissants, and the house-made cinnamon rolls with filling! These are freshly prepared and therefore really good! The portions are large, but you pay accordingly (although not more here than at other restaurants in the region). The dishes around us all looked very good. The service was friendly and happy to accommodate last-minute changes. Thanks for the lovely moments!

We had a lovely time on the terrace with 2 teas and 2 apple pies. I have to say one of the tastiest apple pies I had in a long time. It went quickly and there were a lot of (male) staff walking around. A bit of diversity would be nice. Inside it seemed cozy. Toilet is upstairs with a very narrow steep staircase.

Overall, we thought it was great here. The only thing that really shocked us were the prices. Everything tasted wonderful, but we found it quite overpriced. The music inside was very good, not too loud, the staff were very polite and accommodating, and we were served just before closing time. You sit outside in the middle of the pedestrian zone, so if you prefer a quieter place, you're better off sitting in the café. We had poffertjes, waffles, Zeeuwse roombol, and apple strudel. Everything tasted wonderful. The waffles were even a bit crispy.

Wanted to buy 2 buns at the bakery Bliek in Veere... there were no more individual copies, no sorry we only sell them per 4... well, and the cash register was almost reached...

Breakfast again - and once again, we were lucky... Delicious breakfast with fresh, warm croissants for a fair price, nice seating in the old town center, and friendly service. Every coffee came with a piece of cake. That's a good start...😎

We ordered two apple strudels, one with whipped cream, the other with a scoop of ice cream plus a chocolate milk and Caramel latte for which we had to pay 30 euros. We then received a hot chocolate twice, one of which we sent back because we had not asked for it and asked for a caramel latte again. We think we paid way too much and we were also charged for the chocolate milk. We did not receive an invoice. We also had to go get our cutlery because it was not delivered with the apple strudel. Pure rip off, the price paid cannot possibly match what we ordered.

Op zondagmiddag door een zeer onvriendelijke serveerster weggestuurd, omdat we met 2 personen aan een 4-persoons tafeltje zaten. Aangezien alleen deze tafel vrij was, hadden we geen keuze om aan een andere tafel te gaan zitten. De gastvrijheid hier is echt ver beneden pijl en de omgangsvormen van deze serveerster zijn dramatisch. Heel vreemd dat er nauwelijks 10 minuten later wel 2 personen aan een 4-persoons tafel zaten en deze zijn niet weggestuurd.

Nice terrace in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately the waitress was terrible. We were first refused the table of 4 because there were 2 of us. In a gruff manner with just a gesture. The table remained empty because subsequent couples were also refused. So we ordered at a table of 2. Food was practically thrown on the table without any politeness. If the teacher in question is on duty next time, I'll walk one step further. If you work in the catering industry, you should have some basic politeness.

We took a seat on the terrace. There was still used crockery on the table. I asked if we could sit there. The staff says: "Prefer to choose a clean table." But all other tables outside were occupied. It then takes another 15 minutes before the order is taken. We chose two ice cream scoops with whipped cream for 5 euros and three ice cream scoops with warm cherries and whipped cream for 9.50 euros. "Really no drinks?" Uhh no. Then it took another 10 minutes and then we had something to eat. In the meantime, the dirty crockery was collected but the table was not cleaned. As an encore we were allowed to use the toilet for free, but there is only one toilet and there was a long queue. So we solved that differently. Uhh, the ice cream was good. Uhh, open on Friday after all (on Google maps it says "closed on Friday", but that is not correct).

We ordered apple pie with ice cream and coffee with liqueur. The service was quick and our order was very tasty and excellently presented. Even though it was November, the place was covered and heated and was actually quite pleasant.

2 double toasts for €9 with tomatoes, cheese and pesto from a jar. Are you crazy? Real rip off. If you can't get enough as a management, then you take prices like that.

heerlijk geluncht, verse belegde broodjes van de bakker ernaast. we werden heel vriendelijk geholpen, de service was top. erna hebben we er later op de middag ook nog lekker geborreld, je zit er heerlijk op de oude historische markt van Veere.

The cappuccino was hot, strong, tasted great and was served in a medium sized porcelain cup. We didn't see any paper cups or plates at the tables next to us and can't understand the negative reviews. Okay, the cappuccino cost €4, but that's what it does here in Breisgau. The bolus filled with vanilla cream was fresh and delicious, worth a sin, although not exactly cheap at €4.50, but it was worth it for us. We sat outside in the sun and were served very friendly. All in all, it was an enjoyable hour that we would like to repeat from time to time.

Would you like a cup of coffee and a pastry? Then feel free to take a seat, you will certainly enjoy it. The operation itself is not wrong. Are you going for lunch? Then I would look somewhere else. The kitchen is understaffed and the quality of the sandwiches is substandard, especially for the price charged. At an average gas station the sandwiches are cheaper and better. It also takes more than half an hour before you are served lunch. Not recommended for a nice lunch, disappointing.

It's a nice little place. Today with a market. The cappuccino here at Café Bliek is very tasty.

Déjà le cadre est sympathique. Ensuite une terrasse, finalement que demander de plus, ahah oui un verre de vin et une bière. Les tarifs sont dans la moyenne. Il fait nuageux mais doux. Allez-y, c'est une halte sympa.

Met de boot op bezoek in Veere, en blij om te merken dat Bliek terug een vestiging heeft in Veere. Niet alleen voor lekkere broodjes en patisserie (ook op zondag !), maar ook de mogelijkheid om maaltijdsalades af te halen, is een absolute meerwaarde. Salades werden à la minute gemaakt, verse en lekkere producten, ruime portie, inclusief brood en boter. Vriendelijke bediening door zoon Bliek. Mooi, zo'n jonge ondernemers die er wat van willen maken !

Kwamen om kwart voor vijf om wat te drinken. Werden genegeerd en achteraf bleek dat ze om vijf sluiten. Maar Misschien handig als je dat dan ook verteld word. Klanten negeren is nooit ok.

Kaffe und Gebäck waren in Ordnung. Service unverschämt. Teilweise sehr lange Wartezeit. Und wir wurden, kaum dass wir den letzten Bissen im Mund hatten, alle zwei Minuten gefragt, ob wir noch was trinken möchten oder, ob wir nicht endlich bezahlen möchten. Zum Abschluss wurden wir „gebeten“, doch bitte endlich den Tisch frei zu machen. Hier geht es nur um Umsatz pro Stunde. Gastfreundschaft geht anders!

Nice thing! The music was a bit annoying, you mainly heard the bass. Twelve hours was neat and delicious. Toast too, but 9 euros... for 2 slices of bread and a mint tea for 4.50... Come on. It's literally a glass of hot water with some mint sprigs... A hot chocolate with whipped cream costs 5 euros. Isn't it proportional then?

Excellent terrace in beautiful Veere. The friendliness of the lady in the bakery promised a lot, after which we settled on the terrace in the nice spring sun. Whether the service was surprised by the beautiful spring weather is anyone's guess, but the experience was that guests had to wait a long time for their order to be taken and its final delivery. My daughter was never allowed to receive a repeatedly promised straw again... A portion of poffertjes turned out not to be available. No matter how cliché, it is still a nice location for a cup of coffee with a Zeeland bolus.

Bad. The ladies at the counter see you, but let you sit comfortably. Coffee was spilled, on my jacket of all things, and I could barely manage a giggly "sorry" but that was it. Inside it is cold and uncomfortable, a chilly atmosphere and the staff is mainly busy with each other and the phones. Not to mention the sky-high prices, never seen us here again, disappointing.

Lekker warm & droog onder de terrasheater zitten borrelen tijdens de stromende regen. Het was behoorlijk druk voor een herfstachtige dag, maar de vriendelijke dames in de bediening hebben ons goed bediend en deden hun uiterste best om iedereen zo snel mogelijk te helpen. Ondanks dat we wat sceptisch waren door de reviews hier op Google, zijn we positief verrast en zouden we hier zeker nog eens terugkomen!

Bliek Eten en Drinken is located directly next to the Bliek bakery shop. A covered terrace for the business and a space inside where you can also strengthen your inner self. Unfortunately this space is not really atmospheric and also quite chilly during our visit. However, our apple strudel with stewed pears was delicious.

Veere is a beautiful village and worth a visit, but that does not apply to Bliek. The table where we sat was sticky, and the tiled floor inside was muddy, wet and slippery. Dangerous! The staff laughed about this and was extremely short and unhelpful. It was downright cold inside. The coffee was nothing to write home about, and the food arrived after a very long wait (while there were almost no guests), lukewarm and didn't look good. And expensive! Unbelievable that you dare to ask this for such a total lack of quality, hospitality and service. Please stay away from here.

What a disappointment. Business is run by young people, apparently. Staff are very busy with each other and their phones, but especially not with the guests. Tough poffertjes that were still cold inside, clearly from the microwave, lukewarm coffee, dried out bread... But with a price tag on it as if it were a Michelin place. Crazy. Toko has the appearance of a cafeteria in East Germany in 1980. I wish I could mention one positive point, but that is not possible. A very measly 1 star.

Vanmorgen ontbijtje genomen bij Bliek eten en drinken. Op de kaart lijkt het heel wat. Wat je daadwerkelijk krijgt lijkt niet op wat er op de kaart staat. De service is werkelijk slecht. Mensen op terras werden niet geholpen terwijl het personeel binnen zelf een broodje zat te eten. De zaak gaat om 10 uur open als het personeel tenminste optijd is. Wij waren er om half 11 en toen moest de keuken nog opstarten. Wat ik ook vreemd vind is dat je alles op wegwerp service krijgt. Je koffie ( wat niet eens bij een uitgebreid ontbijt zit) zit in wegwerp bekers. Wat in deze tijd van afvalbeperking erg raar is vind ik. De " verse jus is niet zelf geperst maar komt van de hanos. Helaas is er in september niet veel open in Veere, maar dit is niet aan te raden.

Eu provei o bolus tradicional, é mais uma rosca doce com massa de pão soft! O café é de máquina e ao servem em copos take away, ao lado tem uma padaria onde pode comprar pães e bolos que acredito serem feitos no local!

Het leek zo mooi op de kaart en toen we erlangs liepen.. smaak van de broodjes was prima maar daar is ook alles mee gezegd. Personeel lijkt druk met vanalles maar je moet zelf vragen om de menukaart en of je mag bestellen. Vervolgens duurt het lang voordat je eten komt. Personeel is niet oplettend en ook niet erg vriendelijk. Je voelt je niet heel welkom. Toiletten en wasbak niet schoon en geen mogelijkheid om kind te verschonen (die moest dus op de grond liggen bij het toilet).. De broodjes zijn veel minder luxe dan de menukaart impliceert (termen als rijkbelegde boerentosti en boerensandwich). Drinken wordt geserveerd in kartonnen wegwerpbekers en eten in plastic mandjes zonder bestek. Het leek alsof je in een tankstation aan het eten was.

We komen hier al jaren voor de beste bolussen van Zeeland. In het verleden zaten we op een ruim terras en ontvingen we onze cappuccino in een kop en schotel. De bolus werd geserveerd op een bordje met vork en mes en een pakje roomboter. Een groot genot. Inmiddels is op hetzelfde terras het aantal tafeltjes verdubbeld, is het zelfbediening, en mag je je bolus (zonder boter) met cappuccino in een papieren bekertje op een plastic dienblad meenemen. De bolus is nog steeds heerlijk maar de glans van het geheel is er helaas ver vanaf.

Nicht gegessen, nur Kaffee ☕️ getrunken. War gut, aber vieles wird in Wegwerf- Geschirr serviert.

Wer den Wein gerne aus einem Plastikbecher trinkt, ist hier genau richtig.

Leuk terras in hartje Veere. Service duurde te lang. Zowel het opnemen van de bestelling als het uitserveren. Koffie en de Zeeuwse Bolus was prima!

We werden vriendelijk geholpen door een jonge bakkersdame. Op 5 aug.2023. Ze kan er niets aan doen! Maar 4!euro voor een kartonnen bekertje cappucino erg teleurstellend! Veere heeft leuke ambiances met bediening daar zou ik een volgende keer voor kiezen. Ondanks het erg vriendelijke bakkersmeisje

Umfangreiche Liste an süßen Leckereien aber auch was herzhaftes im Angebot. Ein Stopp lohnt si h auf jeden Fall.

Man sitzt direkt in Veere am großen Platz. Qualitativ ist das Essen und Trinken in Ordnung. Die Preise sind aber an den Tourismus angepasst.

Lauwarmer Cappuccino im Pappbecher, Essen im Einweggeschirr, geht gar nicht für ein Restaurant.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Leckerer Fisch, leckere Pommes, Naja auch für eine Touristenstadt gerade eben noch preislich im Rahmen.

Kleines Lokal mit Aussenbereich, auch im Winter mit Heizstrahlern. Essen und Preis soweit in Ordnung, leicht erhöht. Wir würden wieder kommen.
