We went there two days in a row because the food was so delicious. Both savory and sweet dishes. Great place.

We have eaten here many times in the past and enjoyed the experience- however the last visit was disappointing- we wanted to have the day soup - which came after 40 mins with an excuse that the bread rolls would be another 5 mins 10 mins later sent soup away and had fresh rolls. Poor quality and little acknowledgment that this was not acceptable. There are better places in the town.

Unfortunately, I can only give it one star. I wanted to have something to eat and drink there. The staff also gave us a menu...but that was it. It wasn't very busy, so that couldn't have been the problem. After 20 minutes, we went to the other side...the food was delicious there, and the staff were very accommodating.

This location is directly on the Main Street. The restaurant is ok but not the best. For my taste the food lacked and seasoning. The prices are very high for the quality of food and drinks. For 5 people our bill was over 200€ and we had to constantly get the attention of the staff. Tired of doing this we had to ask our server 3 times for the bill. This place is not a return.

Mediocre price/quality ratio. The pastries seemed stale because the dough was soggy. And 4.30 for 3 sips (I had to consciously control it otherwise it would have only been two). Finally, my partner's coffee was partially presented on the saucer.

We were in the mood for a bite to eat, but after our drinks, we didn't. The menu was so greasy and dirty, simply disgusting, that we lost our desire to eat there. It's probably a good establishment with friendly staff, but that's not a calling card. The ridges on the table were also covered in food remains from our predecessors, probably early this summer. We had a delicious meal, the salmon with slow-cooked pork belly was exceptionally good.

We were there for dinner with eight people. I would say the food was very tasty and the service was friendly. However, it's very expensive, and the portions aren't commensurate with the price. The poke bowl, for example, costs €20 and is only a handful, so it won't fill you up.

A wonderful place to relax after a day at the beach, cycling, beekeeping, Middelburg, etc. The building dates back to 1700, and even painter Jan Toorop himself lived there! Fortunately, the building has been regularly updated since then, the restrooms are clean, and the temperature is always pleasant. Since this year, there have been significantly fewer smokers outside, which is an added bonus! The staff works well together and laughs, and that's clearly noticeable. The food isn't cheap, but it is reasonably priced. I hope they'll (again) offer more vegetarian options on the menu. They're currently very scarce, which is a shame. It would also be nice to have more salad options altogether.

We had a tuna/salmon poke bowl in the evening, absolutely nothing to complain about, very fresh ingredients and very friendly service. We had lunch on day two, delicious mussels with bread instead of fries at our request, again absolutely nothing to complain about. They placed a windmill on the table to keep flies away from the terrace, and at our signal, a meal was brought after the aperitif. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Domburg. But yesterday we were there again and we were totally disappointed: the food is substandard, the service is nonexistent, and the beautiful ambiance is supposed to save the whole thing... But! I recently ate at this restaurant and had mixed impressions. The food was definitely the highlight of the visit – the shrimp poke bowl in particular was outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and very well-balanced in terms of ingredients. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite measure up. You had to actively approach the staff every time to place an order or to order something – they showed little initiative. A little more attentiveness and friendliness would have significantly improved the overall impression. In conclusion: If you're looking for good food, this is the place – but the service still has room for improvement.

We went to Domberg, Netherlands in August 2022. We always checked out a new restaurant each night for dinner. This was our least favorite restaurant to eat at. We thought that the hamburger was mediocre and the Flammkuchen was the better option. The atmosphere is nice here to people watch while sipping a drink. Drinks are fine but I do not recommend the food.

Op een zonnige dag naar Walcheren gereden voor een strandwandeling en in dit restaurant in het centrum van Domburg hebben we genoten van een lekkere lunch. Het was druk en we hadden nog net een tafel in de serre. Toch hoefden we niet heel lang te wachten op ons eten. Mijn zoon en ik hadden een (lekkere) schnitzel en ook de tong was goed klaargemaakt. Onze dochter had een smaakvolle flammkuchen. De kaart is zeer uitgebreid en biedt voor iedereen wat. Het restaurant heeft vriendelijke medewerkers en de prijzen zijn aanvaardbaar.

Das „Verfahren“ seitens der Geschäftsleitung zu Silvester war schlicht eine Unverschämtheit. Wir hatten einen Tisch bestellt und standen schnell eine halbe Stunde in der Kälte, weil das bedauernswerte Personal die Gäste vom ersten "Slot" nicht einfach rauswerfen konnte. Es gab keine Entschuldigung- wie auch immer geartet-, nachdem wir endlich umstänflich unsere Tische zugewiesen bekamen. Das hatte was von Schlangstehen an der Suppenküche Da hätte es reichlich Möglichkeiten einer kleinen Entschuldigung gegeben. Das Silvesteressen im Dolphijn ist zu einer Abfütterei geworden. Getränke und Essen kamen sehr verzögert und letztes war auch nicht durchweg den Preis wert. Da hat nur das trotz der Zumutung durchweg freundliche, aufmerksame Personal den Ärger etwas besänftigen können. Nie mehr!

On Boxing Day we had dinner with the family, who now have grown-up children. Lobster bisque was way too intense and seemed like pure stock; oysters with cheese gratin were lukewarm and the oyster could hardly be tasted, the sauce on my Griet came straight from a packet and was way too salty and the deserts were neither creative nor tasty. Still spent a lot of money: € 325. I would certainly not recommend this restaurant for the food.

We were there for the first time in the late season in autumn. There was delicious food and very friendly service in a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Domburg. The selection is large overall, for example there were various variations of the mussels - I tried the "Domburger". Because of the delicious brew, bread would certainly have gone well with this, but in Zeeland, according to "Verse Friets", it's a must. We'll definitely be back.

We found this restaurant through a Google search for where you can go with your dog. Then you just have to wait and see where you end up... But this is highly recommended! Despite the crowds, very hospitable. Also delicious food and friendly staff. That and it is very important to us that dogs are welcome, because they are family to us and therefore belong to us. Here you can just be yourself. Dog on your lap? No problem. No fuss, delicious food, uncomplicated friendly. Highly recommended!

As usual, drinks were extremely expensive by German standards. But the food is really good and the portions are big too. The place is just great! Go and eat well. Don't forget, there is fresh fish at the end of the pedestrian zone
