We ended up here on our vacation a few weeks ago. It's a really nice place. We had no idea what it's like inside, so we immediately sat outside on the terrace. A young waiter next to us was taking a break and started chatting with us. Then another young man came to take our order, and they both had a lovely chat and gave us tips on things to do in the area. The food was also delicious, both the sandwiches and the ice cream. We felt very welcome.

We had the best pinsa! The waffle was also very good! The service was excellent and very friendly!

We wanted to stop for a quick lunch snack, but ended up waiting an hour and eating something unkind. We ordered the soup of the day and a kibbeling with fries, we had to wait just under 1 hour and didn't get any useful information that it might take longer. The staff are nice but not particularly communicative. The fries were far too dry, probably long overdue and the kibbeling wasn't particularly crispy and you could taste that it wasn't fresh fish. The advertised soup of the day came straight from the Convinient packet and was a thin tomato soup with no garnish, plus two dry slices of bread for €7.5, which I find unjustified. We were very pleased as the place looked good. Unfortunately, it was disappointing.

I had an ice cream here today. I had a tub with three scoops. But it was only three half scoops, and you pay €6.30 for that. The taste wasn't great either. Not recommended; there are better ice cream parlors.

The location is good, and the seating is nice. Unfortunately, it takes forever for the food to arrive. The drinks are filled well below the fill line.

We had lunch here, which was not a pleasant experience. The waiter came by after a while to take the order and politely told us that the food could take a little longer. In the end it took 45 minutes. The owner of this place clearly did not agree with the honesty of the waiter and impressed upon him that he should first take and serve the drinks and only then tell us that the food could take a little longer. He was told this 3 times. A dirty practice of course. The kitchen clearly could not handle it (I had a place where I could look into the kitchen). Then on the beer menu a 1/2 liter was shown, but a 33 cl bottle came. The kibbeling was a small jar (almost 16 euros), the garlic sauce was gone. The meatball was dry. No, there are enough other terraces, don't do it!!

We ate at this restaurant today. The food was very good. I particularly enjoyed the fries, as well as the mini ice cream with coffee. We were very well received, especially by the waiter Pepijn.

What a delicious lunch we had here! A nice little ice cream was served with the tea! The rolls were freshly baked and very tasty! The meatballs are especially recommended! Pepijn who served us was very friendly. It was very busy, he apologized for not having enough time to tell us more about Veere. But we don't blame him! If we are in Veere again, we will definitely have lunch here.

We had a great coffee with amazing waffles and a delicious beer here. I haven't found this beer on any other menu! Very strong but very delicious :) We sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed it. We'd love to come back. The ice cream is also highly recommended.

Not recommended. Fresh kibbeling € 10.50 and you get a large plate with 8 flakes (more crust than fish) If you order a fresh kibbeling with fries, it costs e15.50. Of course you expect a good portion. Nothing could be further from the truth: 20 fries, a shred of "fresh" lettuce, and again 8 pieces of kibbeling. Mayonnaise? And sauce: 2 thimblefuls. In other words, not value for money. Conclusion: we will never go there again!

If you're looking for ice cream, you've come to the right place! However, we were hungry at lunchtime and ordered toasties and baguettes. Unfortunately it wasn't for our taste. The toasts were very dry because no butter was smeared on the outside. The baguettes were very bland. Meatballs cut into slices, 3 slices of cucumber on top and a few splashes of barbecue sauce on top, the €10 baguette is ready. We also had one with salmon, which in our opinion doesn't do justice to the city on the water. Unfortunately, the prices do not match the hot dishes served. The ice cream tasted great, but you are not allowed to eat it on a chair, otherwise you will be sent away by a young lady. This came across as very unfriendly.

The ice cream, waffle and cappuccino were really excellent! I have no idea what other reviews here are criticizing. Great cafe and restaurant with high quality at reasonable prices. We'd love to come back!

For a place that advertises Italian ice cream, the ice cream was very disappointing. It tasted very cheap and chemical. Nothing Italian about it. We threw away our ice cream and had a better experience at the competitor around the corner.

Simple outdoor terrace, the fries were soggy, the kibbelling wasn't seasoned. For €15.50 I would have expected more. I won't eat there anymore.

Got a delicious ice cream here yesterday. We didn't know the area very well and asked the nice boy behind the ice cream counter for some information. He helped us excellently and we will definitely come back!

Unfortunately, our bottle of topical beer was six months (!) out of date. And there was no apology... Then ordered a waffle tutti frutti and we got it without ice cream and whipped cream 😕

Nice cozy place where you can enjoy a delicious meal. They have everything and from what we have tried the taste and quality is very good. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We come here every year during the holidays and often recommend it if we know someone who is going this way. Highly recommended!

You have to wait a while before someone comes and then for what you ordered. The Belgian waffles I ordered, on the other hand, were a bit dry for me, but the ice cream with it tasted as good as the coffee.

For 2 euros a mini scoop of ice cream and an old croissant... the taste is absolutely wrong. We didn't try any other food offerings.

Wat een schattige lunchroom. We hadden een rondvaart gedaan, maar daar kon je alleen contant betalen en mijn kids hadden trek. Dus gauw hier naar binnen gewipt. De lunchroom is gezellig ingericht. Personeel super vriendelijk. Mijn dochtertje had het ijsje wat ze bij haar chocolademelk kreeg laten vallen en kreeg meteen een nieuwe. Wel jammer dat de patat met de andere snacks gebakken wordt, waardoor ik deze niet kan eten. In verband met gluten. Ik schrok wel van het feit dat ik voor een portie kibbeling € 11 moest betalen voor mijn zoontje. Dat vond ik wel heel prijzig.

Gisteren 02 juli daar samen met mijn vrouw een schepijsje gekocht in een hoorntje, voor ieder 2 bollen. Het ijs was waterig met weinig smaak, en we kregen ieder 2 kleine bolletjes, en dat voor €1,90 per bol, het was ronduit het geld niet waard

De hotelaccommodatie is volledig in orde . Zeer mooie , ruime kamers . Proper met alle voorzieningen . Zeer vriendelijk personeel . Het restaurant vonden we een tegenvaller . Wij waren met 10 personen . De mosselen waren koud en heb ze moeten terug geven . Er werd 1 miniscul klein potje friet geserveerd per drie personen. En een 5 tal aardappeltjes voor 2 personen bij een ander gerecht. Zowiezo kleine porties van alle bestelde gerechten . In de namiddag nam mijn man een stuk appeltaart bij de koffie buiten op het terras. De appeltaart was als het ware nog bevroren. Dus ..... de keuken is voor update vatbaar . Voor de rest was zeker alles dik in orde . Maakt door deze restaurant tegenvaller dat we de avond nadien met onze grote groep in een Grieks restaurant in centrum Goes gaan eten zijn ...de naam van het restaurant doet niet ter zake maar we werden rijkelijk bediend met de glimlach en alles was heerlijk , meeeeer dan genoeg en warm opgediend . Apperief zelf van het huis .

We zijn hier neergestreken voor een Latte Machiato... Heerlijk van smaak en lekker warm. We kregen er een mini ijsje 🍦 bij. Wel prijzig, die € 4,10. Heerlijk zitten op het knusse terras. Vriendelijk personeel. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is hier matig tot goed.

Eis Qualität ist ok. Aber ich möchte eine Kugel Vanille Eis und der Junge man sagt mir es gibt keins mehr. Ich nehme eine Kugel Stratiatella und im selben Augenblick wird für den Kunden neben mir ein neuer Bottich Vanilleeis gebracht ! Schlechter Service !

Je ne suis habituellement pas partisane des avis négatifs (allez sur mon profil, vous verrez que je suis plutôt très généreuse sur les notes), mais là je suis désolé mais je ne comprends pas la note de 4.1 étoiles. Les glaces n'avaient aucun gout. Que ce soit pistache, mocca, chocolat ou framboise les avis étaient unanimes dans ma famille : un goût d'eau. C'est simple, la glace framboise était rose pâle (pas du tout la couleur de la framboise), et j'étais incapable de dire si c'était une glace framboise ou fraise. Ça avait un arrière goût de grenadine, et encore. Le seul point positif de la glace était le cornet, qui lui était bon. De plus, le service était DÉSASTREUX (nous avons reçu une glace qui était littéralement en train de se casser la gueule, 30 secondes après l'avoir récupérée.) Prendre 5 secondes pour bien faire la glace ne serait pas trop demander. Bref, des mauvaises glaces et un mauvais service, à fuir. PS : Nous venons de passer l'angle du magasin.... On est tombé sur des kits de glace déjà pré-fait...

Geschmacklich top, Preis sehr hoch für die Menge an essen, man sollte nicht mit riesen Hunger hier einkehren ( Standard Salami Pizza hat 19cm Durchmesser für 10 Euro ist dad sehr happig)

Leuke stek, beetje uit de drukte. Niet slecht en goed bediend door die jongens.

Vrij waterig ijs en de smaken pistache, yoghurt en chocolade waren vlak van smaak. We werden wel heel vriendelijk geholpen.

Heerlijke verse koffie en lekkere kebab.

Lekker om tussendoor even iets te eten. Gezellige inrichting en vriendelijke bediening.

Prachtige Italiaanse ijssalon in het centrum van Veere. Binnen en muurverkoop. Zowel bakjes als hoorntjes. 18 soorten vers bereid schepijs. 1,60 euro per bolletje. Heerlijk! Ook hier ontkomen we niet aan de inflatie. Nu twee jaar later kost een bolletje 1,80 al is de kwaliteit nog als vanouds.

Sfeervolle aankleding, gastvrije bediening en een goede maaltijd als lunch gehad.
