Grand Cafe 1866 in Wijk 04 Domburg

As I've written several times before, the service is truly poor. Slow and unmotivated. The food is also quite ordinary. Simply inappropriate for the high prices of the hotel.

Service is unfriendly. Atmosphere is OK but the bad service makes it an unpleasant stay. There are a many other options in the area.

Had a healthy sandwich but unfortunately they serve it without egg.

Unfortunately, this was the worst meal of our five-day vacation. My spaghetti was mushy and stuck together, and my husband's spaghetti Bolognese was perhaps accidentally served as a child's portion...the plate was only a quarter full. The side salad came without dressing. While they responded to our complaints and brought us a second portion, the service was visibly annoyed. It was a bit unpleasant. The ambiance is nice, though. Otherwise, we had more than excellent service and fantastic food everywhere in Domburg, and we were blown away by the Dutch culinary skills and the friendliness of the people!

What super delicious food, and the service is so friendly and professional. Highly recommended. And as for the food: the authentic onion soup here is absolutely delicious.

The food was OK, unfortunately the menu was only in Dutch, not even in English, which I find disappointing for a holiday resort; having to read everything with Google Translate is annoying.

Stylish shop with a pleasant atmosphere and a cozy Christmas vibe in a beautiful location. Friendly and fast service. Nice restrooms and clean. The coffee was excellent, and the fresh waffles with whipped cream were delicious!

Very friendly service, super fast service, and a delicious tapas platter. Well-maintained and heated seating—what more could you ask for?

In the heart of Domburg, a very nice location to enjoy coffee and cake. Was very good. Very fast service and friendly staff. It was still coffee time, but we already saw quite a few very well-prepared lunches passing by. We will come back for that again!

The staff and the service are really great, only the chef there is an incredible jellyfish who thinks he knows it very well, even so well that he makes customers (which I saw with my own eyes) look like fools. publicly, that I really think that is a very unprofessional attitude. I hope he doesn't treat his staff like that because they certainly aren't worth it... A course in dealing with people would do him good... I doubt whether it is of any use anymore

Food would be more like ~4.4, but I can't specify it here. Slight deductions only because the Caesar salad had a bit too little dressing and the burrata and salad came without bread. I recommend ordering the bread basket with it. Fitted great. The ambience is the nicest in Domburg so far. Dogs are allowed.

Food was OK but service was slow. Long waiting times to order though the place was not crowded. Much of the menu was sold out. Not recommend!

Very friendly service, but the egg was cold, the cheese was tasteless, the ham in the omelette had to be found with a magnifying glass. The chicken in the Caesar salad was dry.

Прекрасное заведение. Кормят очень вкусно, продукты все свежие.Персонал отзывчивый и внимательный, есть русскоговорящие. Атмосфера располагает к отдыху и получению приятных эмоций. Рекомендую как заведение для романтических встреч, для встреч с друзьями или семейном кругу. Все найдут для себя что то вкусное в меню, и даже если ты не мясоед, для тебя тоже наед5ться что поесть. Буду с удовольствием ходить ещё)

Schönes Restaurant mit tollen Speisen, dass Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend und das Servicepersonal ist sehr aufmerksam.
