Fantastic place for both a coffee, a cake or a beer. The owner came by and had a chat with us as well, talking about their project working with young people with neurodivergence. He also introduced us to the local brewery beers from Guilty Monkey, which was a very pleasant craft beer surprise! Definitely worth a visit.

The older man (not sure if he was the owner) who served us was so friendly, it made our day! Not just him but the other workers were also very accommodating, helpful and kind. Chai latte was very good, and they had a soy-based chocolate milk (only recently available). Would come here again just for the vibes ❤️

Breakfast at Bluf was amazingly good! Club Zalm served in a unique way. Fresh and generous portions. Friendly welcome. Beautiful garden where you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Coffee is perfect! The good start (breakfast) gives you a perfect start to the day!

Spontaneously ended up at Bluf. It also happened to be their 5th anniversary, so we took a lunch platter. Mix of different sandwiches, ebi tempura, fries with truffle sauce and soup. Lunch was delicious, the service super attentive and friendly and nicely decorated. Nice if you want good food and something special.

Had a delicious high tea! Nice concept with multiple rounds (soup - savory - sweet). Wide choice of tea including fresh and dried tea. You have to be open to some fried snacks. Staff very hospitable; very nice and pleasant owner! Absolutely recommended.

Last Monday I had lunch with my girlfriend at Bluf for my birthday. And a party it was. There are a lot of over-hip lunch cafes in Nijmegen where you pay (too) much for excellent food but are served very distantly. Bluff is an example of how it can be done; friendly, personal, from person to person. The Chef (and owner) came to get some air and have a chat. Two employees sang a birthday song and gave us a brownie on the house. Please go to Bluff guys🙏

I got the Gingerbread Cheesecake and a Matcha Latte. The staff was the friendliest I have seen in all of Europe and the poace itself is calm and cozy. Would deffinately reccomend.

We visited Bluff on a quiet Monday morning. We had a delicious meal, especially the sweet tasting platter is highly recommended. The food came very quickly, service was good and there is a homely atmosphere. Furthermore, the price-quality ratio is very good, definitely recommended!

Wat een fijne zaak! De bediening is zeer vriendelijk en gunt je een fijn en rustig moment terwijl je aan je tafeltje zit in een zeer laagdrempelige zaak. Om ons heen diverse tafeltjes gevuld met lekkere gerechten en mensen die een spelletje spelen. De kaart biedt voldoende keuze en de gerechten van hartig tot zoet en worden mooi gepresenteerd. Het smaakt ook allemaal heerlijk! De prijzen zijn heel redelijk. De toiletten verdienen een opfrisbeurt. Wellicht net een straatje uit het centrum maar zeker de moeite waard om neer te strijken!

Super nice place. It is a bit hidden for someone unknown in Nijmegen. But really nice place, with friendly staff. There is a pleasant atmosphere. It was wonderful to spend time in the garden. I had a delicious apple crumble pie myself, but the entire menu looked delicious! If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by for lunch ☺️

Cozy cafe in the center of Nijmegen. Friendly service, delicious food and large portions at a good price. The waitress made sure we would be able to eat everything - she was right, because even after rejecting one dish, we couldn't cope!

I stopped in for lunch and was so pleased with the atmosphere, the food, and the smoothies. The staff was very friendly and they have English menus available as needed. There is a beautiful patio in the back, comfortable seating inside, and tables along the sidewalk so there are plenty of options for seating depending on the vibe you’re looking for.

What an excellent place!! We went there randomly on June 20th, looking for a location that serves breakfast. Fortunatelly we passed by BLUF - amazing. Everything served is in such a nice detail, the crew is very amazing - special people with special skills - be surprised. We totally fell in love this place, enjoyed our breakfast (5 star) and had such a good time. If you are looking for a decent place in Nijmegen? Stop searching - go to BLUF. They are awesome.

Enjoyed a delicious high tea yesterday. There were three courses: soup, savory and sweet. All snacks were delicious. For tea you can choose from many types of loose tea, but you can also choose fresh tea, such as mint and ginger. The service was attentive and regularly checks whether there is still enough hot water and whether everything is as desired. Reservations for this high tea were easy via the form on the website.

What a surprisingly nice place! Super attentive staff, the nicest chef and a fantastic high tea! The smallest, 4 years old, was spontaneously allowed to help the cook in the kitchen and received a huge piece of lactose-free chocolate cake. Pampering!

What a wonderful place to have a drink, a brunch, and to hang out. The people working here are always friendly and open for a chat, next to providing an impeccable service. In this place everyone is welcome and nothing is weird. As a queer person I never felt out of place here. Smiles and friendly conversations are regular as is the sun in the backyard. ..and the recently renewed menu is a delight! I greatly enjoyed the new Vegan BTL. Highly recommended.

Last weekend we enjoyed a delicious high tea at Bluf Nijmegen. When you enter, the table is already nicely set and looks inviting. The explanation about the high tea, in rounds instead of one floor, is clear. Each round receives its own attention, which means that as a guest you get the feeling that a lot of attention is paid to you instead of just getting one floor. The food tastes incredibly delicious and the tea water is also carefully monitored and replenished on time. Allergies have also been taken into account. Highly recommended for anyone who not only wants good food but also a great experience.

Very nice and cozy, incredibly nice atmosphere, and extremely nice service!!! A really nice restaurant and highly recommended. The food was also very tasty, but unfortunately the bread was a bit dry. The cheese and lime cake is also highly recommended. The dog was also welcomed with open arms, very warmly, worth recommending!!

What a wonderful experience it was at Bluf! We rented Bluf on Sunday afternoon to celebrate our birthday, and it was really great! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the extremely friendly staff, who did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The service was fast and attentive, making us feel completely unburdened. The snacks and drinks were delicious, varied and prepared with care. All in all, I can wholeheartedly recommend Bluf to anyone looking for a top experience in the hospitality industry.

Small point of criticism: the acoustics are poor, so when it's busy you can't always hear each other well.

Had a delicious lunch. Full house inside so reservations (at least on Sundays) are recommended. Ordered lunch for 2, not for the hungry, but definitely recommended. Choice of 2 soups and various sandwiches and fries afterwards.

What a wonderful place this is! Truly a "hidden gem" in Nijmegen. It was a super warm and welcome reception with very friendly and social staff. It is spacious and light inside and there is a beautiful garden at the back. The food was really delicious, many options and also suitable for vegetarians. Everything was freshly prepared for us and you can taste it. I can recommend everyone to come here and enjoy everything on the menu, highly recommended!!

Bij binnenkomst hartelijk ontvangen door gezellig personeel. Ook vrijwilligers aanwezig. Super leuk! Met 2 personen een heerlijk en verzorgde High tea genuttigd. Eten was afwisselend, smaakvol en veel uit eigen receptuur. De sfeer maakt het compleet. De baas bracht ons alle ‘rondes’ met een flinke portie humor, beleving en interesse in het vak en zijn medewerkers. Zonder dat het druk was toch een sfeervol en warm gevoel. Een echte aanrader in Nijmegen voor Lunch, Brunch of High tea!

Personal ist total lieb, zuvorkommend und das Essen war der Hammer. Sie haben die Speisekarte auch auf Englisch. Die Sachés waren hübsch und das Besteck sah so aus, als dürfte ich gleich wie ein König speisen 🙏 Hatte das Hähnchensandwich (weißbrot) und war von der Saftigkeit des Fleisches und der Frische vom Gemüse beeindruckt. Die bbq-Sauce war top und Gurken sowie Zwiebeln waren eingelegt. Wenn ich das nächste Mal in Nijmegen bin, weiß ich wo ich essen werde ❤️

Heerlijk in de binnentuin een high tea gehad ter ere van een verjaardag. Met 4 gangen een van de beste high teas die ik ooit heb gehad. Daarnaast hele vriendelijke en meedenkende bediening en hele goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouden. Absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar!

Lekker eten en een leuke sfeer, vooral buiten! Alleen vind ik het wel heel erg raar dat de deur van het vrouwentoilet een groot raam heeft waardoor je gewoon van buiten naar binnen (en andersom) kan kijken als je op de wc zit. Het glas is weliswaar mat, maar toch, fijn op de wc zitten zit er niet bij en ik snap ook niet goed waarom er voor zo'n deur gekozen is terwijl het mannentoilet wel een normale deur heeft.

Super lekker high tea gehad, 4 gangen maar liefst. Jummy. Genoeg thee soorten, en je kon je eigen verse thee samenstellen. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en werkt hard. De locatie is prachtig en de sfeer is aangenaam.

Bij BLUF verrast door mijn vriendinnen met een babyshower. Wat hebben we genoten van al het lekkers op tafel! Heerlijke soep, een ruime keuze aan broodjes, quiche en snacks en als afsluiter zoetigheden om onze vingers bij af te likken! Er was meer dan genoeg en alles zwangerschap proof, top! Daarnaast ook lieve en attente meiden in de bediening, dankjewel!

Heerlijke lunch, ook veel vegetarische opties. Het is heerlijk zitten in de prachtige binnentuin!

Was hier per toeval met de vierdaagse, en was echt heerlijk en ook bediening heel prettig. Kom zeker nog een keer terug.

Als je de prijs ziet denk je 'okay, ja, ietwat duur misschien maar zoveel kost buiten de deur lunchen tegenwoordig nou eenmaal'. Als je je eten krijgt val je van je stoel wat betreft hoeveelheid en kwaliteit, echter. De prijs meer dan waard, in vergelijking. Enorme aanrader.

Top high tea gehad vandaag. Kok komt ter plekke aan tafel nog wensen vragen en duikt de keuken in. Oog voor de klanten is top. Heerlijk buitenterras!

Superb family-run restaurant/cafe with lovely inner courtyard. The kind of cafe where the chef comes out of the kitchen to advise you what food might be suited best for you. You can tell how much love and care went into this place.

Nice atmosphere, but I didn’t like the apple pie. Dough was wet, apples not juicy. However, the serving is beautiful. Well, there are pro and contra. Nothing special, but for coffee it’s okey:)
