Very busy, messy, and crowded. The food is delicious, and that's what matters.

Stopped in here on our first day in Amsterdam. We were soaking wet and very cold. Needed a respite and as such we received a very warm welcome by the staff at Boca’s. We had some tea and liquor coffee to warm up followed by some picky bits to eat. Service throughout the few hours we spent thawing out and drying off was friendly and made us feel at home. Glad we found you!

Esperé más de una hora por comida. Todos salieron en diferentes momentos no era capaz de comer juntos. El colmo fue que la sopa estaba fría como piedra. Enviamos de vuelta y nos fuimos. Qué pena.

The best cheese platter I could have here for more than adequate value for money! The S cheese plate for 1/2 people is very generous (for 2). The cheeses are qualitative, tasty and served with tapenade, mustard, aioli and other very good accompaniments + bread straight from the oven. The neighborhood is quiet and the terrace is very cute. Perfect moment !

Very delicious tapas dishes in a nice and cozy atmosphere!! 😍the warm bread with olive paste, gambas in olive, the salmon flamkuchen and calamari were my favorite. But I’m sure there are more on the menu!! All in all very happy to come across this restaurant 😍😍 one of the best tapas places

Hele fijn plek, opvallend leuk en warm personeel, lekkere muziek en heerlijk eten! Deze keer allerlei verschillende gerechtjes geprobeerd, andere keren de planken, allemaal zorgvuldig klaargemaakt en heerlijk van smaak!

Nuestro hotel nos recomendó otro restaurante en esta zona, pero decidimos ir a Boca basándonos en la variedad de elementos del menú, que parecía más tranquilo y acogedor y la posibilidad de probar y compartir platos pequeños. Nuestra familia de 4 personas pidió ensalada con salmón, Bitterballen (albóndigas) , mini kipsalon con pollo, papas fritas sampler, bruschetta con filete y pastel de manzana, todos los cuales estaban muy buenos. El personal era servicial en proporcionar sugerencias y se aseguró de que nos cuidaron. Sin duda recomendaría este restaurante y volvería a comer aquí en una futura visita a Amsterdam.

In the heart of Jordaan, this funky cafe serves great food in moderate portions so you can taste a lots of different things to share. Good local Dutch specialties and some more international but all great quality and very yummy. Staff are friendly and helpful and the locals come here.

Nous avons pris un plateau à partager et un Burger. Bon dans l'ensemble mais qq saveurs particulières sur le plateau qui n'étaient pas à notre goût. Le personnel est très sympathique et l'endroit très agréable pour faire une pause en terrasse

What a great find. Great variety of good tasty food including vegan, nice atmosphere and attentive & friendly staff. You can’t go wrong here - it will become one of your favourites!

Small, cozy, tasty and very inexpensive. The service impresses with its friendliness and very good English. The food portions are smaller (but this was pointed out to us directly). The two of us ate three of the evening meals and were well full afterwards. The food was very tasty and absolutely inexpensive. For around €5-7 per meal we came to just under €10 per person, absolutely great for the city center. The cocktails were also very tasty but a little overloaded with ice. A real recommendation :)

A great place for Dutch style tapas and drinks. Friendly staff. Chill vibe. Kibbeling and a locally brewed beer are the perfect pairing.

Very nice place, generous amount of food

An experience out of 10, we went to dinner the first Saturday that the weather was good and although we didn't have a reservation they put us at the bar. The price for Amsterdam is good, we ordered a tray and they let us make a mix of the ones they have, in our case we ordered a medium board with two parts of meat and one of cheese, without including a vegetarian part. Everything was very good, I would definitely repeat, the meat was incredible.

Fortunately, it was extremely busy at the famous apple pie lunchroom. That's how we ended up at Boca. We had several sandwiches. Very nice that you can, the sandwiches are not very big and expensive so you can easily eat 2 for lunch. All sandwiches were delicious. The Pulled chicken in particular was very popular and the pork belly was delicious. I had a Chai Latte and it was also very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And despite it being a small business, they didn't make a fuss about our stroller and a high chair was brought out of a cupboard and put together. A shelf was also raised in the small bathroom so that I could change my son. You also have a view of the Monday market. We will definitely come back.

Super small and cozy restaurant. The pizza is excellent. Preparation takes place in front of your eyes in a stone oven. Definitely worth a visit

Great food, great service, great price

This was the nicest food! We had the meat platter for 2 people. Everything was delicious and there was plenty for two people. The Rendang was amazing... the Pork Belly... 🤤 Highly recommended and will definitely revisit on my next trip to Amsterdam. The wine was also delicious

Come for beer, frites, and relaxing outside.

Was lucky enough to find this little place today.. We did manage to get a table right away, but i think we were lucky Service was great, and a very helpful and smiling waitress The choice of food is vast, and I really enjoyed their mini baguettes. There are so many filling to choose from. Will for sure head back there again soon, as lots to try.

A very cute little restaurant! Tapas concept, where you order 2 or 3 dishes per person. The food was very good! We ordered korean fried chicken, 3 types of fries and the bitterballen. The drinks were also very good, and we highly recommend the boca’s sour!

Our table was not cleaned, the food was really basic, sandwiches with industrial bread with a very filling dense crumb accompanied by a supermarket aoli. I had the impression of being in a student cafeteria with efficient waitresses who lacked the sense of hospitality.

We recently had a very nice lunch here. They have a nice concept where the sandwiches are a bit smaller than normal so you can easily order 2. I would also take 2 sandwiches as a standard lunch, provided you are a really small eater. Very nice concept to vary and very tasty. The card also offers many options. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. In short: a good experience and definitely recommended.

The owner kindly allowed us to eat the apple pie we bought from Winkel (+10), I complained him that the pie is very overrated and he AGAIN kindly offered us his apple pie (+100), turns out Boca’s Apple pie is MUCH BETTER THAN WINKEL!! Buttery dough, tangy apple taste! Yum!!(+1000)

Very tasty food! At first we only went in for a cup of coffee, and then saw the “mini baguette” concept, so we only had two sandwiches per person. How tasty and cheap! Nice atmosphere and service, and really tasty fresh sandwiches.

Funky little place with a big U shaped couch area. Interesting art on the walls and friendly staff. It is worn and faded with badly scuffed paint in a way that seems intentional. The ambiance is good. The staff are also very friendly. We had the meat plank which was very good, perhaps even exceptional by the low standards of the Amsterdam food scene.

I was day yesterday- after rainy and cold place this place is 11/10 thanks to food! We eat a plateu with a bit of everything and fries. Beer was also super good. Staff as well super friendly and helpful 🩷 thank u one more time!!

Had een goede ervaring! We waren ietjes te laat maar blijkbaar was het niet onze fout want we krijgen een gratis drankje omdat de tafel al weg was gegeven. De share dining hapjes waren geweldig en het duurde maar millisecondes voordat het klaar was! Snelle en vriendelijke bediening! Als ik de kans krijg zal ik terug komen!

Amai, zeker de moeite waard. Heel lekkere pure keuken. Je kan van alles proeven. Mooie porties , zalige muziek en vriendelijke bediening. Grtz de Belgische buren :)

Super leuk personeel en het broodje spicy chicken met badjakmayo is een echte aanrader! goed gevuld en heerlijk sausje. het broodje biefstuk met chimichurri is echter erg dun belegd vergelen het kipbroodje, dus deze zou ik overslaan.

Total leckeres Essen, super Cheesecake (p*star martini cheesecake!!!) und toller, netter Service! Absolute Empfehlung etwas abseits der üblichen Touristenlokale, uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Vanavond gegeten met 3 pubers. Super lekker maar vooral ook een hele lieve vrouw in de bediening die super vriendelijk en attent was. Voor de jarige puber speciaal een muziekje en vuurwerk in t ijsje! Ik ga zeker terug!

The mini-sandwiches here are a great concept that let you try a bunch of different, delicious options. We didn't go wrong with any of our many lunch choices but the highlight was the Bitterbal (and the baguettes were awesome). Service was great and food was well worth the price- would absolutely go back.

How unassuming, but don’t be fooled and venture in. The food is to die for, the ambience pitch perfect and the service absolutely outstanding. This place is to be applauded and a must for anyone living in or visiting Amsterdam. A very warm welcome awaits! Well done Boca’s team, you’ve created something really very special.

Chille tent hoor. Lekker eten. Niet te druk en massaal.

Leuke plek in Amsterdam waar je terecht kan voor een kleine broodjes of borrel. Wij kwamen hier door een walking tour. Er was een boca inbegrepen. Omdat dit de laatste stop was en we het zo’n fijne plek vonden, hebben we nog wat extra besteld. We hadden de nachos (erg lekker, goede portie), Fries en wat breekbrood. Bediening erg vriendelijk.

Whispers of the legendary sharing platters had reached our ears, and with my two young companions by my side, aged 7 and 9, we were eager to unlock the secrets that lay within. The owner inquired about our hunger, and his suggestion of the small platter, calamari, and a trio of fries ignited a thrill of curiosity within us. The platter arrived like a treasure chest, brimming with sausages, fish, and beef that seemed to hold untold stories from distant lands. Yet, it was the bread rolls that bewitched us, their aroma laced with an ancient allure that stirred emotions beyond mere hunger. As we savored each morsel, we fell in love with this little gem. Oh and the fries, golden and irresistible, were the kids favorite!!

Zaten buiten voor het raam met een groep van 6. Het eten en de eerste bediening was erg goed, zo als de laatste 3 keer. Het personeel dat van hun shift kwam en werkend personeel dat aan het avond eten waren zaten buiten naast ons. De mensen die weer aan het werk gingen deden nog een sigaretje en gingen aan het werk. Het personeel dat van dienst was begon over de manager "maarten" te praten op het terras in een niet respectvollen manier. Daarnaast werd continue gerookt tijdens dat wij zaten te eten toen wij weg gingen stonden 2 goed gevulden asbakken. (Wij konden er misschien hier wel eerder wat van zeggen.) De manieren van het personeel dat misschien buiten werktijd is waren in onze ogen onbeschoft en niet professioneel. Hopelijk hebben ze iets aan deze review want het eten is echt ontzettend goed.
