Very nice restaurant. We think this location is the most attractive.

Very disappointed in this restaurant last night. After I was smeared with mustard soup by the waiter (an accident), we were not offered any compensation other than an apology. The quality of the food also left much to be desired in several dishes.

The oldest pub in Groningen (founded in 1600) is now a tapas restaurant. A great place to quickly eat some tapas or sit down for an extensive dining sensation. On the advice of a very friendly waitress, we opted for a vegetarian tapas platter and that was more than enough for the two of us. The atmosphere was cozy and the decor contributes to the positive appearance. The coffee is fine, the postres are tasty. All in all an excellent restaurant with friendly staff. Great.

Super fun. Not very luxurious, but very cozy and nicely decorated. Small tables...fast service...and a beautiful location at the Noorderplantsoen. Park at the Circus garage and you can walk there in no time.

Delicious food, 2 snacks per round. Excluding drinks. Choice of different dishes. Portions size is just right. Nicely served and tasty food. Decoration looks good, and no irritating music in the background. The two-person tables in the hallway were close together. Nothing else to complain about. Definitely recommended. We will definitely come back.

The food was excellent, some dishes such as the quesadilla and burritos were very tasty, but others were less so. It is tight in terms of space, the three of you sit at 1 table and right next to us there was another table with people.

Price - quality is right. Nice meal! Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the next round. We solved that by immediately preparing another round when we had just ordered. Sangria is also very tasty!

Beautiful concept with small snacks for 1 price. Enough choice in the dishes. The downside is the small tables, the cramped layout and little space to move the chair or go to the toilet between tables, for example. This is not a good option for wheelchair users or less mobile people.

Food was tasty, the place where we sat had no atmosphere. As if you were sitting in a garden shed. You cannot use that place to put guests.

Commercialised all you can eat, mostly Dutch cuisine tapas. Nothing authentic here. Almost all dishes were bland, most was fried, cocktails were meh. Price is high for what you get. Interior design and atmosphere was nice, service was good.

The food was fine. Not everything was equally tasty. The sukade for example, it looked very much like a can of cat food. And a number of dishes were baked just too long. The rest of the food was tasty.

The food was delicious. It was very busy and we sat in a corner where we didn't have much space and it sometimes took a long time before our order was taken. No other comments, the food was good and you get what you expect. The tent looks nice on the inside. You can easily walk here from Groningen Noord station.

Very cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Just don't expect real Spanish tapas. These are what I call 'commercial tapas'. I really didn't like the Beef Tenderloin from the Surf y Turf and I left it aside. Not well fried, but very raw, the outside a bit 'cooked'. The structure was also not good. Other than that, nice dishes, but not of high quality in my opinion. So to temper expectations a bit, this review, because with 4.5 stars out of 5, I really expected better. So go here mainly for the fun.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with a wide choice of dishes and cocktails. They don't work with a time limit, so we can taste everything we wanted in a relaxed manner. Staff were very friendly. Did you have a nice evening!

You can order 2 dishes per round, 4 times. There is enough choice and variety in the dishes, so that everyone is satisfied. The food was delicious and the service very friendly and relaxed. Worth repeating.

Half the food was cold or burnt and a few hours later I threw it all up due to food poisoning. The rest of the people I was with were also miserable/had food poisoning. Too bad because it seems to be a great restaurant, but our experience was really not good.

Recently had a retirement party for a colleague. Food was tasty, just too many courses. There is a lot of demand for allergies and intolerances. 1 point of attention: is the staff aware of the difference in content between an espresso, double espresso and regular coffee? Because the espresso was regular coffee, the double was a regular coffee. Maybe good to reevaluate this!

Nice atmosphere, very tasty food. But why I give 3 stars is because it takes way too long between rounds. We ordered 2 rounds (2 small dishes per person), but after an hour and a half we had seen enough. Churros were also really disappointing. The atmosphere is really nice, the staff is friendly, but the waiting time, especially with young children who are not on a screen 😉, is really way too long. While the restaurant was really not full.

Had a very nice evening with friends. The food was very good, but I thought it was special that a double espresso turned out to be a normal black coffee. In retrospect, I should have asked about this. I also thought the price/quality ratio was very good. I would like to eat there more often.

Hier laatst gegeten, het was erg druk dus het wachten duurde erg lang. Eten was soms koud. Hier gelukkig wel compensatie voor gekregen. Service was dus wel echt goed! Prima voor een tent als Bodega.

Heerlijk eten voor een normale prijs. Wij zaten aan een ronde tafel waarbij een hoge tafel vlak naast ons stond. Ik had verwacht dat mij zou ergeren maar dit was niet zo. Leuk en vriendelijke personeel.

Wij zijn al vaker bij andere locaties geweest van tapas y bodega maar deze vind ik verreweg de leukste om te zitten. De limoncello spritz was ook erg lekker! Helaas geen mogelijkheid om gratis te parkeren.

Lekker eten en een goed tapas concept. Bij ons bezoek was het echter erg druk waardoor we dicht bij de deur werden geplaatst. Hierdoor kwam er steeds als er mensen naar binnen of buiten gingen een koude windvlaag naar binnen. Onze tafel stond te dichtbij de ingang gepropt waardoor mensen strak langs onze tafel naar binnen moesten.

Bezoek eind oktober Op een donderdagavond konden wij spontaan met een gezelschap van 10 mensen bij deze locatie terecht. Boven in het restaurant kregen we twee tafels naast elkaar. Het restaurant heeft wel een beetje het ‘all you can eat’ gehalte ondanks dat is het heel sfeervol is ingericht. De meeste gerechten zijn prima maar andere vallen qua smaak tegen. Onze favorieten waren: brood met aioli, mini hamburger, gefrituurde kip, albondigas, gambas en de surf and turf. Al het personeel dat aan het werk was werkte keihard. Soms duurde het vrij lang voordat gerechten kwamen en soms kwamen onze gerechten niet. Zodra we het aangaven werd het geregeld. De serveerster die onze drankjes opnam had echt oog voor detail, zij kwam elke keer op het perfecte moment. Een aandachtspunt bij het uitserveren: soms is het wel fijn als wordt aangegeven welk gerecht welke is.

Dit is het 4e filiaal van Bodega y Tapas waar ik ben geweest, ik vind het heel leuk ingericht/aangekleed! Personeel is heel vriendelijk en klantgericht, ook al is het druk, je hoeft nooit lang te wachten. Alle gerechtjes waren lekker. De drankjes (mocktails) worden in fijne, grote glazen geserveerd, dit is bij de andere filialen niet zo dus een groot pluspunt! Enige nadeel is dat er maar 1 dames en 1 herentoilet is, dat is wel erg weinig voor zo'n grote hoeveelheid mensen die in het restaurant past.

Prachtige zaak! Heel leuk en sfeervol ingericht en daardoor smaakt het eten misschien zelfs nog wel lekkerder. De tapas kwamen erg snel en de bediening was ook goed en vriendelijk. Wij hebben hier in elk geval heerlijk gegeten en komen zeker nog eens terug!

Wat een mooie locatie met voortreffelijk opgediende gerechten die ook nog eens voortreffelijk smaakten. Zelfs Groninger gerechten zoals de eierbal en heerlijke Groninger mosterdsoep en droge worst. Een absolute aanrader.

Fijn dat je niet aan tijd gebonden bent en dat er voor elk wat wils is om te eten. Genoeg keuze en wij vonden het heel lekker.

Beste bodega die er is. Prachtige locatie en je kijkt mooi over het Noorderplantsoen uit als je bij het raam zit. Ze zijn snel bij je tafel en wachten op je eden duurt niet lang. Eten is ook mega goed.

There are better alternatives in town. They offer small portions, the staff seem to not reply to our requests on purpose, service is slow in general, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly packed.

Tja, tapas is tapas, niet bijzonder wel gewoon prima. Als het heel heet is is boven zitten (zoals wij heel optimistisch deden) géén goed idee, al helemaal niet met een groot, lawaaierig gezelschap naast je. Maar de plek is geweldig, helemaal als je een plek bij het raam of op het terras kunt bemachtigen.

Service was a little slow tonight and the staff seemed to be somewhat in a hurry, they forgot a few dishes. However, the tapas were great and well-made and you get to take as much time as you like, which is nice.

Prima restaurant met eerlijke prijzen. Leuke accommodatie voor een gezellig avondje uit eten.

Heerlijk gegeten super vriendelijke personeel.. Buiten zitten is helaas erg lawaaierig daarom binnen gezeten waar het erg knus is.

Gezellige tent naast het Noorderplantsoen, goede prijs, goed eten en zelfs een aantal veganistische opties. We komen hier regelmatig voor wat drankjes, olijven en gefrituurde uienringen.
