We were put off by the reviews but went anyway. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, the tables weren't sticky, and the glasses were clean. The dishes were delicious; it took a little while to get yours, but definitely no longer than 20 minutes. The food was delicious!

It's always a treat to dine here, especially if you're gluten-free! They're very accommodating to your dietary needs. The only downside, in my opinion, is the lighting in the larger space. It's very bright, and we find it uncomfortable to sit in. Luckily, there are also smaller areas in front that are cozy and romantic.

What a disaster, that something like this still exists is truly a miracle! Very long wait, dirty, unprofessional, not tasty. Ended up here via social deal, we were allowed to take a seat somewhere and after 15 minutes they asked if we wanted something to drink. We had an arrangement of unlimited tapas for 2 1/2 hours. There were three of us and ordered the first round of 6 tapas, after 1 hour we got 3. Asked where the others were and we got a vague smile and some gibberish, immediately ordered new ones. In the meantime, the dishwashing assistant walks past your table with dirty dishes several times. But after 25 minutes we still had nothing. Again I spoke to the staff that this was not possible and that we should better go and eat chips. Again we got an incoherent story and a lame excuse. I complained again and was promised that we would get our money back from social deal and they understood that we were now going to eat chips. This is all very unfortunate, their reaction is also terribly unprofessional. In addition, the 3 tapas were very disappointing. The meatballs came from a can, I think, the skewers were like plastic and the potatoes were only reasonable. Our tip, you can even better go and eat fries with a snack.

The explanation is that this always happens when the chef is not there. After waiting for 5 quarters of an hour we suggest to pay for what was served (5 drinks and 1 round of (cold) tapas). As compensation they want to take off 1 arrangement (at €24.50)... That means paying over €100 for a few lukewarm snacks and 5 drinks. Can't do otherwise because that will cause trouble with the boss... Nonsense of course... SOMEONE is responsible here today and will take that responsibility. So we'll have to deal with the boss, who really should know what's going on in his restaurant. After some insistence with the (only) lady serving we finally managed to settle for a reasonable amount, but if nothing changes in this restaurant they can close their doors in the foreseeable future. When your chef is not there, apparently cooled snacks are heated up by completely incompetent people who don't know how to use a microwave and all the misery is dumped on 1 lady who does her damnedest, only it all comes to her (understandably) shoes. Furthermore, it was freezing cold in the restaurant. Increased energy prices, fine, but the arrangement is also about €6 more expensive than during our last visit. Make sure that the customers who are still there can sit somewhat comfortably. Having to sit in a restaurant with your coat on is ridiculous. Hopeless venture if the broom is not swept through here very soon. You will not see us here again until you are back to the level of a few years ago. Although I ate reasonably well I am not a Tapas fan. Order 2 dishes per x and they are small portions. I miss the side dishes such as vegetables and sauces. The price is fine and the staff extremely friendly.

We went to Tapasco with a gut feeling because of all the negative reviews. We really had a delicious meal and yes it is not high-quality and it is not completely clean but this does not detract from the atmosphere, the food and the service. The time between rounds was also fine. Too bad that some people experienced this differently but for us it was a super fun evening with atmosphere, delicious food and nice bedi who do their best to give you a nice evening.

Donker hol, stinkt enorm, hygiëne ver te zoeken. Vlees ongekruid gekookt echt niet om te eten. Sommig eten leek bedorven werd ook bij andere tafels uitgespuugd en geretourneerd. Helaas geen foto's gemaakt. Bediening was wel heel aardig, behulpzaam en snel.

Had a lovely dinner with my wife last night. I'm shocked by all the reviews given for this because apparently something has been done with it and it has been changed. The service (young man) was extremely friendly upon receipt and the rest of the evening. What a winner! The lady who later joined the service was also very friendly. Food was delicious. We didn't have to wait long for our food, same for drinks. Recommended! We are now used to many tapas concepts and this one is in the top 3 for us.

The first review I ever post to send a signal to the owner. Made a reservation last Saturday and after a good reception it went downhill. Drinks took 40 minutes and after an hour of waiting we left with empty stomachs because there was still no food on the table. During that hour we heard a lot of complaints from neighboring tables. Due to illness, the staff appeared to be unable to cope with the crowds and instead of choosing to receive fewer guests, we understood that the owner considered maximum profit from as many guests as possible more important than a pleasant dining experience for slightly fewer people, not to mention how you saddle your staff with many dissatisfied guests. To be clear: I have eaten here before and was very pleased with the quality of the food itself the previous times (that's why I give the food 4 stars without having had any food this time), but after this super bad experience I will never return here. If this is how you treat your guests, I will look for a restaurant where service is important.

We hadden 2 uur onbeperkt tapas eten, per rondje 2 tapas per persoon. Het duurde allemaal vreselijk lang, na 1 uur pas 1 rondje tapas gekregen,dus 4 hapjes totaal. De kok kwam op den duur zelf in de bediening en gaf aan dat we wel meer dan 2 tapas mochten bestellen per rondje. We hebben daarna nog 2 rondjes kunnen bestellen plus desert. De garnalen kroketten waren nog bevroren van binnen, we kregen wel gauw nieuwe. Er werden ook gerechten van anderen bij ons op tafel geleverd en die werden vervolgens weer weggehaald, nog eens op een verkeerde tafel geleverd en daarna bij de juiste mensen op tafel. Niet erg hygiënisch. Wachten op drinken duurde ook zeker 20 tot 30 minuten. De borden waren trouwens nog vettig zo ook de menukaarten. Veel mensen klaagden en er gingen zelfs mensen weg. Er was veel te weinig personeel op de vloer, echt heel vervelend want je hebt maar 2 uurtjes en een volle maag zou fijn zijn. De kwaliteit van het eten was verder wel goed. Echt jammer dat het nu zo is bij Tapasco,vroeger was dit veel beter.

Two hours of unlimited tapas and then after more than 45 minutes the first course is served... 🤔 Chicken skewers were supposedly marinated with honey/mustard, just like the liqueur 43 of the dessert that is probably still in the bottle. Spareribs were overcooked and fell apart like sludge. In short: a disappointment. Reported to the staff and they said they would pass it on to the kitchen and our feedback was left there, together with the pork tenderloin medallions that we had sent back. Ik hou van vissen maar je geduld wordt hier wel heel erg op de proef gesteld. 45 minuten wachten op 2 crackers om vervolgens een dik half uur te wachten op een paar garnalen kroketjes. Hieropvolgend kregen we kip die zelfs mijn schoonmoeder nog beter kan marineren. Varkenshaas dat smaakte en eruit zag als een sjoelblok. Aangegeven dat het echt veel te lang duurt. Lag aan personeelstekort ofso. Jammer want de gasten betalen wel voor een volledig arangement. Geen waar voor je geld. Heb zelden zo’n vreselijke ervaring gehad. Doe hier wat aan. De dame die aan het werk was die was wel erg aardig en netjes! De mannelijke collega vreselijk nors en slordig. Na dit bezoek zijn we naar de Mac gegaan en heel eerlijk dit was 10x beter. Succes met aanpakken van alle verbeterpunten want nogmaals dit is vreselijk.

Gisteren geweest, eten was zeer goed, de ene tapas lekkerder dan de ander maar dat is natuurlijk voor een ieder anders. Bediening was vriendelijk. Af en toe moest je even wat langer wachten en dat is bij een twee uur arrangement natuurlijk niet fijn. Bij navraag blijkt dat ze het menu nog niet hebben aangepast en je gewoon dat tijd hebt die je nodig hebt. Ik zou het wel fijn hebben gevonden als ze dit van tevoren hadden gemeld. Al met al een top avond met voldoende keuze en veel lekkere tapas. Revieuw dat je dus wat langer moet wachten maakt dus niet meer uit.

On Friday evening, May 31, we had dinner here with a group of 8 people via Social deal. You could eat 2 tappa dishes per round (10 in total). How fantastic this was. All kinds of small dishes, from fish to diamond hare, something for everyone. After those 10 dishes you can choose a dessert. Also fantastically tasty. Really worth eating here. We will definitely come back here again!!

Normally I wouldn't go to a tapas restaurant, but Tapasco turned out to be a pretty good restaurant. Restaurant is somewhat remote, and you quickly pass by. For €24p.p. Being able to eat unlimited tapas for 2 hours is very doable. Dishes were fine, choice on the menu could be a bit more extensive/diverse.

Amazing place! There is an open kitchen and the chef makes sure you have a good time despite being very busy with the kitchen. I think he is from Bulgaria and he is absolutely lovely. The food came very quick and was really delicious. We had a lovely time and a proper FEAST at the Tapasco. Thank you for the experience and we will definitely come back again!!!

Nicest and tastiest restaurant in Groningen!

Had a delicious meal here in December/January. It was good and tasty. The atmosphere here is nice and the staff is friendly.

We hadden om half acht zaterdagavond tafeltje voor 2 besproken. Betrof tapas arrangement voor 2 uren. Het duurde 3 kwartier voordat wij de eerste hapjes hadden. De opvolgende drie rondes kregen wij om het half uur. met 2 tapas per persoon per ronde weinig waar voor ons geld. Daarbij inbegrepen een ronde tapas niet door ons besteld. Ter compensatie kregen wij een gratis ronde drankjes. Drankjes werden wel met voldoende regelmaat aangeboden. Uitendelijk een kleine 2,5 uur gezeten in een weing sfeervol restaurant. De bedienig was vriendelijk. We kregen te horen dat er problemen in de keuken zouden zijn. Een weinig gezellig svond en voor ons in de toekomst geen tweede bezoek.

What a terrible experience this was. We went out for dinner together but the food was missing... after 1 hour we had had 1 round of food. The restaurant was almost empty, but serving ready-made food was still too difficult for the kitchen. We had decided to leave, at that point they brought our 2nd round in the hope that we would stay. We decided to leave after all.

Tasty tapas, wide choice, friendly service. A bit too much oil on the tapas sometimes, but that is often the case with tapas.

Fine for the price. Don't go if you have to kiss a stranger in a bar afterwards (garlic city)

Delicious food and extremely friendly service!

I was here for the first time last weekend. To be honest, it was a bit disappointing. The table layout was not really pleasant and I didn't think the quality of the food was great either. However, the location is well located with parking spaces around the corner. The staff was friendly.

All you can eat tapas. Stay for a maximum of 2 hours. Unfortunately only had 4 x 2 tapes.

The first 5 rounds went nice and fast, but after that they no longer come to your table and your drink order does not arrive either. And to top it all off, a sky-high bill while you only had to pay for your drinks. So don't go here again

The food was okay but not special. No repeat for us. Many plates are chipped or a corner is missing, it is not very clean, and glasses were not clean several times. There was a lot of time between courses despite the fact that it was not full. We wanted to try a different tapas provider, but we will still go to our regular address.

In dit restaurant hebben wij heerlijk gegeten. Een erg leuke sfeer en de bediening was gezellig en goed. Een aanrader.
