Brilliant Thai restaurant. We walked past a few times and saw it had good reviews so checked it out. We had Thai tapas, 6 dishes between 2 which was loads. Really good flavours, sticky rice, prawn crackers, veggie balls, beef balls, chicken Vietnamese pasty and fish balls. Really cool interior and service was really good. Would deffo recommend!

In general the food is excellent and delicious. But, for taking away they have a lot of space to improve when it comes to the amount of food they give which is below average. So, if you wanna try this tasty thai better to visit the place.

My favourite restaurant in Amsterdam. I’ve been to quite a few places but none of them beat this one for me. The food is always insanely delicious (I get the red curry with shrimp and it’s served with rice) and they adjust the spice to whichever level you like it. I like spicy food, so I told them to notch it up a bit. If you don’t like spicy food just let them know and I’m sure they’ll be very sweet about it. One time when I went with my friends she found her dish too spicy so they literally took it back and made it milder for her. The staff has always been friendly, I love the decor and atmosphere of the place and I think for the portion size the prices are great, especially considering how pricey Amsterdam is in general, I would say they’re extremely reasonable. I even asked for half a serving of rice instead of the full bowl today and they brought it over immediately ! Our food was served in about 10 minutes, which is crazy. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Definitely reccomend.

Very lovely place around our ‘buurt’, top quality authentic Thai food and top services. Been to Bangkok many times and quite disappointed the Thai food available in Amsterdam, but this one, Mama Mia! I wish I could have found this place earlier. Thank you for keeping it open and running during such a challenging time, we will certainly come back and support you!

Tasty food, nice staff and good cocktails

Went the first time about 2.5 years ago & loved the flavor of the Pad Thai. Last year we ordered delivery and I felt disappointed by the flavor, but thought it was due to having lower quality during delivery. However, we went back into the restaurant today and I was extremely disappointed by the flavor - very sour/bitter - & most of the veggies were definitely not fresh (I normally love Thai food because the veggies are very crunchy, here most of them were soft). A few months ago my friends had the sticky rice with mango & the portion was certainly larger than what we had today, but the price today was much higher. Overall really disappointed & will not go back.

My big thanks go to the waiter. Super friendly and attentive guy who loves his job! But the pad thai there has an issues to my taste. First, the portion is gigantic and it comes with a high price. You can't eat that much and when you take the rest home it is no longer that fresh. Waste of food and money :( Second, it is not a 'real' pad thai but a dutch version with a tons of onions instead of proper vegetables. But hey, the waiter is great there!

The food was delicious and served with care. In addition, the personnel was extremely friendly and considerate. I have no regrets for visiting Boi Boi Southwest!

I had take out and I loved it! Super tasty food, friendly staff. Also very nice vegan options and more choice than the average restaurant in that regard (check the whole menu, not only the vegan section, some are not listed there). Normal prices for the area. I am for sure going back, hopefully to eat in sometimes soon.

Pad Thai was wel goed van smaak. Maar de curry was echt niet goed. Weinig smaak en de kipfilet moest ik echt zoeken tussen al de bamboescheuten en groenten. Jammer ik hoopte op een goede Thai om de hoek.

Wat een fijn restaurant! Heerlijk en vriendelijke bediening. Komende tijd wordt het helaas bestellen door de maatregelen, maar daarna komen we snel weer een cocktail drinken. Want die zijn heerlijk en worden met zoveel enthousiasme geserveerd dat ie nog lekkerder is.

Vorige week gegeten bij BoiBoi Southwest. Je waant je in Thailand! Heerlijke pad thai gehad, smaakte exact zoals ik hem in Bangkok heb gehad. Mijn partner had een rode curry met kip, deze was lekker pittig en perfect van smaak. Vriendelijke bediening en erg schoon en netjes. Prijs kwaliteit is top!

Muy buen restaurante, tuvimos buen curry y pad Thai, solo Jimmie. El ambiente es realmente genial, oscuro y misterioso. el servicio era excelente y el camarero bromeaba todo el tiempo, un verdadero anfitrión. Nos aconsejó una gran cerveza local. A ++++
