My first venture here a few years ago was with a couple who had just come back from Thailand and had taken several cooking classes while in Thailand They raved about the food I go here every time I am in Amsterdam and I recommend it to friends all the time It is small and very cozy if that matters

This restaurant was the first restaurant that made me angry. After I went in, no one came to entertain me, so I found a seat and sat down by myself. At this time, a lady sitting at the door suddenly got up and said something to the waiter. Then the waiter came over and said that you are not first，sat down in another place. It made me a little puzzled, but I still got up and sat down at the door. Then the waiter brought the menu. At that time, my mobile phone was running out of power, but the electronic train ticket was still in my mobile phone, so I politely went to the front desk to ask if I could borrow some electricity. A female staff member next to me suddenly shouted at me: nono! Then she said a lot of languages that I didn't understand. If I couldn't do that, they can refuse directly. There was no need to yell at me in other languages. I could only understand English, but then I put up with it again and went back to my seat and began to look at the menu. About ten minutes after I sat down, the male waiter came over and asked me what I want. I said I wanted to take a look. He asked me what I wanted to drink. I said I didn't need it for the time being, because I was going to order a bowl of soup noodles. At that time, he looked at me strangely, as if I was coming over and sitting down. He said in a very bad tone that you should be quickly ok? Then he left. At this time, I really couldn't stand it. I came here to consume. Why have I been treated like this since I came in? Not to mention the service attitude, I have never encountered people urging guests to order in other restaurants in the Netherlands, not to mention that I didn't order anything for an hour. Finally, I closed the menu and left the restaurant directly. After all, they are not the only ones in the Netherlands who cook Thai food, and not only one of them is open. Other restaurants are also busy, but I was treated very well there. This restaurant is not recommended. The employees have poor attitude and like to yell at people, which gives people a feeling of spending money to suffer. In addition, It's really rude that the staff doesn't even have respectful words when talking to guests.

Excellent food, very generous portions, and fast, efficient service! I've been several times and tried lots of different dishes. They're all excellent!! And there are so many choices!! The last time I came, there was a mistake with my dish, and they immediately offered to exchange it—very kind of them! I highly recommend it!

I am posting this review because I had posted on TripAdvisor previously, and instead apologizing for the poor experience, they responded by accusing me of posting a ridiculous review full of lies. We are a couple and we were looking for a nice place to have some Thai food on a Saturday night. When we entered asking if there was a table for two available, we were told to wait 5 minutes. So, we waited outside. Another couple were leaving, so we chatted to them about their meal and we asked what they would recommend. After a few minutes, we went inside again and we were aggressively waved away and told they were closed. I was left quite shocked and confused. At most, we had maybe been 7-8 minutes, but also nobody had mentioned to us that the table was ready, or not ready. So, I don't know what happened here. But, I was mostly surprised at the anger and aggressiveness, as if we had done something horribly wrong. I posted this on TripAdvisor, and instead of receiving an apology, I was accused of lying. Why would I make this up? So, I repeat. Do not go here. It's not authentic Thai food, the staff are dreadful (I have been to Thailand, and people are not like that there), and if you want to be aggressively waved away for absolutely no reason at all, well this is your place! We were quite upset by this, and also very hungry. Thankfully, there are many better options for Thai food, and we went to Thaise Snackbar Bird nearby. The staff were fantastic there, and chatted to us quite a lot. We told them about what happened (and they didn't accuse us of lying). Little Thai Prince (maybe replace the word "Prince" with something else). Also, I want to add that on Tripadvisor they respond to everyone's negative reviews with more rude responses and denials, instead of simply apologizing. I have been to Thailand, and I certainly never met anyone like this there. Shocking people, and a shocking place. -100 stars, if possible. It almost ruined our night. They should have paid me to eat there and I would have still said no. So glad we didn't actually get to eat any of their disgusting food. Recent update to review - May 26: Still crap

We tried chicken fried rice and mixed starters for dinner. Both were delicious. Also we requested to prepare the fried rice spicy and it was done exactly like we asked wih extra Chilly. The service was quick and good with friendly staff.

We came here as spouse was wanting Thai food. We were able to be seated right away, however sat right by front door, that has to be closed every time someone walked in or out and often tourist left the door open! I had the vegetarian pad thai, my spouse got the yellow curry! We received food quickly and it was a solid Thai option.

My partner and I went for dinner for the second time. The first time everything was great and the portions were generous. This second time, we only ordered a couple of soups, and they wouldn't sell them to us unless we added a main course. The waiter's service was disappointing. Furthermore, the amount of food was significantly reduced, and the meat was less than half the amount we expected. We won't be back.

Been here twice on two separate trips - can say after travelling whole of Thailand that this is a very authentic restaurant with lovely staff! Felt like I was in Thailand again! See you again when I next visit!

A truly wonderful Thai experience! We shared the homemade vegetarian spring rolls as a starter, fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. For my main, I ordered the beef Pad Thai, and I have to say: it’s the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. The seasoning is perfectly balanced and harmonious, every element working together beautifully. Went for dinner with colleagues after work while on a work trip. Cute little that restaurant in Amstel area of Amsterdam. It’s very small but we managed to get a table. The coconut soup was delicious, I would have that over and over again. The Pad Thai was ok - not the best I’ve had but it was good. Everyone else also enjoyed their food.

Ouch, what a disappointment. The food was fine, no doubt about it. But no distinctive flavors; what I had was rather bland. The restroom and other parts of the restaurant looked very unsanitary. Average value for money!

A bit of an odd place. Absolutely fantastic food. Nothing more to add. But listen: why on earth is the air conditioning on when it's -1°C outside? I don't get it. It wasn't supposed to be off. I was having a nice bite to eat with two friends on Boxing Day, I made a joke, my friends laughed out loud, and we were shhhed out of the kitchen. And the place was empty. Explain that. No, for the atmosphere and experience, this is not the place to be.

Everything is delicious, if you come during the cold season I recommend the Shrimp Tom Ka Soup, the best I've ever had.

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. While the food was acceptable, the service felt unfriendly and unwelcoming, and we were left with the impression that customers are rushed rather than hosted. Communication was abrupt, there was little flexibility, and overall we did not feel comfortable or valued as guests. For us, the price and experience did not match the quality, which gave the place the feel of a tourist trap rather than a restaurant focused on hospitality. Amsterdam offers many excellent Thai restaurants with warmer service and better value. Unfortunately, this was not one of them.

The food was fine, but what was quite strange was the fact that you're supposed to leave immediately after eating – nobody says so, but when I wanted to drink my tea in peace, the bill arrived unprompted, and two minutes later someone was there to collect payment. (I wasn't even asked if I wanted anything else.) I was sitting alone at a table for two; apparently, that doesn't bring in enough money…

The place is very small and you should make a reservation before going. The food was sooo good and they were able to make their pad thai gluten free! Even though this place is in a touristy area, I would definitely go back because the food was absolutely delicious

As someone who makes it a personal mission to sniff out Asian food whenever I’m abroad—especially from places boldly claiming “authenticity”—I approached Little Thai Prince with cautious optimism. Verdict? For continental Europe, this is as good as it gets. I went for the Green Curry Pork with rice, and while it’s not exactly Bangkok-in-a-bowl, it’s authentic enough to earn my repeat business. Having grown up with Thai food on my plate and in my DNA, I could easily call myself a Thai food “connoisseur” (read: picky eater with a good memory). And yes, by my very biased, sauce-stained standards, this one passes with flying colors—and a hint of lemongrass.

Delicious food at this Thai restaurant. Unfortunately, it's very much like what you see in Amsterdam: small tables, little space to move around, and the urge to leave as quickly as possible after you've finished your meal for the next round. The cleanliness could also be much better. But I can't fault the quantity and quality of the food.

We visited this cute little Thai restaurant during our five-night stay in Amsterdam and absolutely loved it. We walked by two nights in a row and noticed it was always packed, with people waiting outside—unlike nearby places that were nearly empty. That alone told us it was worth a try. We ordered the green curry with chicken (served with rice) and the prawn pad Thai. Both were excellent—full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The green curry was a bit spicy, which we could handle, but those sensitive to spice might want to ask for it mild. The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend if you're looking for great Thai food in Amsterdam!

Good authentic Thai dishes in a little restaurant (the name says it). No site, but the restaurant is filled. I got a place after a few minutes and ordered Tom Yung Kung and Thai green curry with chicken. As I read here in another review "they are not shy on the spices" - and that's how it should be!

In May, I went to the Netherlands for the first time and came across a Thai restaurant in the city of Amsterdam. There was no need to wait for a seat when dining at 9pm. Judging from the decoration and the accent of the boss, it should be opened by Thai. My friend and I ordered Thai red curry chicken and fried chicken with Thai chili sauce (I used the phone to translate the correct dishes, but I'm not sure). They tasted very good and felt quite authentic. The dining environment was not bad either. My friend said that Thai restaurants in Europe are all of very high quality, and this one is one of the top three restaurants I ate in this European trip. The average price of a meal is about 20 Euros.

We were looking for a restaurant and decided to gamble on this one. It turned out very well. Delicious food with lots of options. Even for the vegetarians among us. We ordered egg rolls which were excellent and a main course for each including a drink. It was a real pleasure.

This place is sooooo tiny! lol it's only about 8-9 tables in the restaurant, they open promptly at 5pm and the tables fill up very fast! I travel to Amsterdam about once a month and I find myself coming into the restaurant everytime! The food is very flavorful and the staff is extremely friendly! It's a tiny restaurant with the smallest kitchen I've seen but what really matters (the food and service) is great. I had spring rolls which seemed home made and a prawn pad thai which was one of the best I've had. The service was fast, friendly and conscientious from the moment we arrived. I'll be back.

Walking around and came across this little gem. Seating tight but comfortable. You can tell that regular customers or the local community come back. The portion size was large but filled a big belly. Food hot and freshly made. Service was friendly and quick
