On Friday, I got three "sweetbekken" (beef), which aren't actually "sweetbekken" but whiting or coalfish full of bones. A "sweetbek" is a piece of cod and tastes much better.

I was in Danswijk Almere today and wanted kibbeling (fried fish) for €3.50. "We can't sell for less than €5," they said. I'd like a fried cod with extra spices and a herring, please. I saw that the fried cod didn't have any extra spices on it, so I asked for a bit more spice. It wasn't enough either. I paid €5.25 and paid €20. I complained about not being able to buy kibbeling for €3.50, but the ladies didn't react. When I got home, I saw that I only got €10 back instead of €20. I'm completely done with this place.

Please never order from here again! What terrible staff! I've been giving them ages, and then I call after waiting over two hours to ask if there's anything wrong with my order, which I placed through their own website. Well, the guy on the line, where did I get the nerve to call? Because the delivery driver had already been to my address and I wanted free food. It wasn't his fault that the order hadn't gone through, and he was going to call the police. I went to the restaurant to show them my email address so I'd actually ordered, not under the name they'd told me. Then, suddenly, everything was correct, and the order had arrived. After a lot of back and forth, the guy was too busy for me, and I asked for a refund, which was literally thrown in my hand. No, this is absolutely unacceptable! They don't know how to say "the customer is king" here! -5 stars!!

I've always had a good experience, good service, and good value for money. But today I saw that they've raised the prices even further and reduced the portions (the fries were too small compared to the previous portions). This is the best way to lose customers.

Be aware: Small (attached photo) is the new medium. It used to be small and Large used to be medium and now it seems changed.

What a lovely location! Surrounded by nature, this modern and charming restaurant is perfect. It's great that it's adjacent to the visitor center, so the kids could browse while waiting for their food. The staff was friendly and helpful; we quickly got a table and high chair. We had a delicious meal. And the most helpful person of all was the person we spoke to on the phone when we got home, 200km away, and realized we'd left a jacket behind. She was kind enough to send it to us!

Service is terrible, it shows it takes 25-45 minutes for delivery but after 30 minutes it showed 40 more minutes I called, and they said sorry it should come in 15-20 minutes. It's been 30 minutes and still not here.
