De Duinkamer in Wijk 04 Almere Poort

I've always had a good experience, good service, and good value for money. But today I saw that they've raised the prices even further and reduced the portions (the fries were too small compared to the previous portions). This is the best way to lose customers.

The food… Maybe it's just not my taste, but I really didn't think the price-quality ratio was good. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly, and a young lady quickly came to take our order. That was nice. However, after ordering, it took quite a while for our lunch to arrive. Perhaps that was because the kitchen had just opened—we arrived at 11:55. Our order: • 2x Croquette on white bread • 2x Pulled chicken The croquette itself was tasty and warm, but the bread was very disappointing. You just get a white sandwich (toasted bread). For €11, I thought it looked cheap, and that didn't match the price. The pulled chicken looked nice at first glance, but I couldn't quite place the taste. It was a slice of bread with large chunks of onion, mushrooms, some lettuce, chicken, and sauce on it. The dish was cold—is it supposed to be that way? I don't think so, because by the second bite, it was lukewarm. I didn't send it back because it was fine, but nothing special. They also forgot to serve our extra cappuccino. It happens, but it's a shame nonetheless. All in all, I think my expectations were too high for this restaurant. Would I go back for lunch or dinner? No. But... it's a nice place for a cup of coffee. ☕

I went to the PAW Patrol meet and greet today for a photo with the dogs together. The coffee was delicious, with a good strength and flavor.

Friday evening and closed again, they don't care at all anymore....

If you are next to a harbour and it is often closed, even in the season, there is no plus but minus

I order online every time and get more, this time with extra salad, fries, and mayonnaise. I eat here often, and it's always good and tasty. Also very affordable.

What a tasteless mess! The tuna is so dry that it falls off your sandwich. Come on, this can be at least a little bit better?

Picked up food from here a few times. With every order we arrive home and discover that something is missing. Often the sauces or, for example, the cheese of the cheese burger. Burgers are dry, pizza is very simple and not very tasty. I don't think the staff can do much about it, but I feel that a little more attention could be paid to training. The last time our burgers and bitterballen were also cold. Then we decided to explore the local chip shops in the area. Shame!

Waited 30 minutes for a sandwich…..

They used to have delicious food for years. But recently quality of food has gone down significantly. Today we had a burger and brodje and it tasted awfully. Bread is not fresh. Burger paddy smells weirdly and particularly too salty. Pizza is still delicious though. Pizza is the only meal worth haven’t there, every other meal is of a very low quality.

What a crappy “restaurant”! The food just comes from the plus next door and ours was even out of date! The price is also twice as expensive. Not recommended!

Waiting 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches is of course crazy. If they were still tasty, they would go ahead, but that cannot be achieved either

Great location to have a breakfast. You can park your car in the parking garage under the building. Ordering and paying is easy using an order column. After payment you will receive a beeper. And when it goes off you can come pick up your food. The seats are also very comfortable!

Please stay open. The cafe and Plus market often say they’re closing because it’s slow but it isn’t. Not sure why. Too bad.

Ordered a salami pizza, without arugula and green pepper. The arugula was still on it, that can happen. The pizza with tomato puree and Gouda cheese was not quite what I expected. Ordered a cheese burger with fries with the pizza. The burger was the same too. The fries were fine. 0.25 cents are charged per box for burgers, fries and pizza. The allowance itself is of course fine. Except it's a plastic surcharge. And the boxes that are provided are made of cardboard. A bit crazy. All in all, not worth repeating

The people who work here are always friendly and helpful. The pizzas are of excellent quality. The coffee is from Illy and very tasty.

I stopped by De Duinkamer today to order some takeaway food, but an error was made during payment by the young staff. When the error was pointed out, there was initially no willingness to admit it. The arrogant tone and attitude with which we were addressed is unacceptable. Only after I could provide evidence was my complaint processed. A colleague was called in who was friendly and immediately apologized. I understood from this colleague that this is not the first time that the young staff of De Duinkamer has had conflicts with customers. This issue does not seem to be taken seriously by their manager, this colleague indicated. Don't buy anything here anymore! Food is bad, service is bad and the food is more expensive than anywhere else.

Come to the Duinkamer from day 1, the pizza was incredibly tasty, the whole of Almere Poort was always talking about it. Since lately they have changed the products. It can no longer be eaten. Changed 180 degrees. Too bad. The fries have also changed and the atmosphere. You order they forget everything they have to bring you.

Nice young team, sometimes even hardworking. However, I miss a catering star who manages everything. Can be much more efficient, portions of fries differ (in terms of size and type of fries) and the composition of pizzas also differ, depending on who is standing there. Time also differs, sometimes waiting 5 minutes and other times 15 (this does not depend on the crowds but on the staff). So if there are some people working (with all due respect) I feel free to skip it. Purely because I have experienced that they cannot deliver what I expect. The Plus is next to it so you can always buy something to make at home.

Waited exactly 10 minutes for my order: two milkshake coffee and two pieces of cake. Two staff members, no other customers. Dirty floor full of rubbish. So I'll never come here again. Order canceled after 10 minutes.

Nice place to relax after a walk

Quality varies and depends on the person preparing the food or drink, coffee is sometimes good and other times terribly bad (watery),

Heel vriendelijk en deskundig personeel, eigenaar is zeer betrokken en ook geïnteresseerd in zijn klanten.

Heerlijk frietje, niet zo sfeervol maar voor snel hapje prima.

Eindelijk een fatsoenlijke portie friet gekregen. Normaal gesproken gooi je de helft weg, omdat het veel te veel is, maar deze keer dik voor mekaar

Ik zou wel meer sterren geven, maar de hamburgers hier zijn niet weg te krijgen, zo kurk droog. Toen ik dit zei kreeg ik wel een nieuwe, maar die was even droog. Pizza's zijn hier wel lekker! Er was nog iets raars. Ik had een cappuccino besteld en de serveerster zei dat ze die nog kwam brengen. Toen het na een kwartier er nog niet was en mijn eten al bijna op was, heb ik het nogmaals gevraagd. Toen was ze ineens magisch vergeten dat ze ooit had gezegd dat ze het kwam brengen en beweerde dat ik nooit een koffie besteld had. Ze zei dat ze me niet verder kon helpen tenzij ik het bonnetje liet zien. Na lang zoeken had ik het bonnetje eindelijk gevonden, anders had ik nooit mijn cappo gehad. Best wel apart.

The pizza is probably the best in Almere...! I've never eaten so much pizza from one place, recommended! It's a great place to stop for a coffee, the seating and setting is nice and open. Super friendly staff and quick service, you can even order from the screens or from a QR code from your table. It's close to the beach and also the harbour which is really handy if you want a nice walk after. It's a really nice concept and I hope it thrives. Oh and don't forget the soft ice and Sundaes!!

Lekkere kroketten met brood (zowel vlees als vegetarisch). Fijn dat er ook wat groen (sla, komkommer, tomaat en dressing) bijzat. Vriendelijke snelle bediening. Je kunt zowel binnen als buiten op het terras zitten. Hier gaan we vaker terugkomen!

Mooie plek, veel keuze. Prima eten.

Erg lekkere koffie en appeltaart. Vaak krijg je bij de koffie ook nog eens een lekker chocolaatje of koekje. Tevens vriendelijk personeel en sfeervol ingericht. Wij komen hier graag.

Hamburger menu besteld en broodje kipburger. Kipburger was redelijk maar Hamburger menu was weggegooid geld. Hamburger was werkelijk niet te hachelen, leek wel binnenband van fiets? Na 2 happen taai taai kauwen weggeflikkerd. Echt zeer slecht.

Fijne cafetaria, met zowel to-go als een kant waar je kunt zitten. Voor ontbijt, lunch en diner. Mooie nieuwe inrichting! Pizza, burgers, broodje kroket, verse belegde broodjes, etc
