Buitengewoon Lekker in Wijk 05 Almere Hout

What a lovely location! Surrounded by nature, this modern and charming restaurant is perfect. It's great that it's adjacent to the visitor center, so the kids could browse while waiting for their food. The staff was friendly and helpful; we quickly got a table and high chair. We had a delicious meal. And the most helpful person of all was the person we spoke to on the phone when we got home, 200km away, and realized we'd left a jacket behind. She was kind enough to send it to us!

Expensive prices and poor hygiene. The chef clearly doesn't wash her hands or wear gloves while preparing the food. She's doing all this while touching her phone and adjusting her bra strap. Disgusting. 🤢 Furthermore, the price-quality ratio is out of whack. The price is higher than the quality of the food.

Came for breakfast on a Sunday morning. No good morning, no service, and ridiculous prices (cheese sandwich €7.50 and muffins €4). I left after waiting 10 minutes and watching two people stay in the kitchen and not help. Never again for breakfast...

We had delicious sandwiches and salads here yesterday. The staff was very friendly, highly recommended. I would like to know what white wine we drank.

We held a party for 36 people, including 7 children, on July 7, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The staff was helpful and even kept an eye on the children. The food (barbecue) was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. It was also fun outside, as the play forest is right behind it. To the people of Buitengewoon Lekker, thank you so much for the wonderful day, it was a complete success.

We had a very nice party here yesterday, November 26, 23, with family and friends and receive many comments from family and friends about the pleasant staff, the delicious pastries and the fantastic food. I've been having lunch at Buiten every Sunday since 2017. It's simply delicious. It's our third-place spot. A living room outside at home. When I moved into my house without nuts, this was a lifesaver every Sunday. The staff is friendly and very child-friendly. Another plus is that you can practically swim with the kids on the private beach👍🏿 oh yeah, free Wi-Fi.

Had a lovely high tea yesterday. Lots to eat and drink and when we were satisfied, it turned out that we got another plate with warm things. It was great, well taken care of, more than enough and also nice service. TOP!!

Today I attended a wedding party for high tea at Buitengewoon lekker. It gets one star, but just because you have to give at least one, it deserves zero. The high tea was sparse and really not tasty; in fact, I think this was my worst high tea ever. The wraps had no variety, only fish. The sandwiches were inadequate; there wasn't one for every guest; we had to ask for more. Shouldn't there be one for every guest anyway? The quiches were so small, there was an abundance of sweets, but they were clearly stocked up at Hanos. We put a lot of them on, so it still seemed good. And finally, there were scones, which were so dry. You could make them tasty with jam and clotted cream, but this was like whipped butter. Don't order high tea here!

Celebrated my birthday party in this restaurant with 40 guests. Great, good service, friendly staff with attention to the guests. Delicious food from the Barbeque buffet with beautiful salads, beautifully presented. We will definitely come back!
