Brass 20 in Bussum Centrum

Delicious food! Marie is fantastic! The atmosphere is fantastic. In short, a top restaurant.

Yesterday we went out for dinner again at our favorite restaurant, "Brass 20" in Bussum. As always, we had a delicious meal and enjoyed the friendly and professional atmosphere of the staff. This restaurant has never disappointed us; highly recommended!

We've been coming to Brass20 since the beginning, so it's about time we posted a review! You always get free bread as a starter, which is a nice way to start while you browse the menu. We usually start with the "Special for 2," which is delicious, but today we're having the "Lobster Ravioli," which is highly recommended! For our main course, we often choose the Iberico Rack or Satay (always good), this time the "Surf and Turf" and a "Japanese-Style Salmon." Both were well-cooked and flavorful, and beautifully presented—yummy! A smooth Pinot Grigio completes the experience! For dessert, the "Dame Blanche" and the "Churros" are highly recommended! The atmosphere at Brass20 is cozy, and the service is excellent. We've also often dined here upstairs with a large group, and it was always perfectly taken care of!

We had a wonderful meal with a group of 14 people. Everything arrived simultaneously, even though there was only one chef on Wednesday. After dessert, the chef played the piano for dessert ;). It was a lovely evening!

We didn't have time to get to the restaurant on the day of arrival, we waited two weekends to get there and for good reason!!! It's very tasty, especially the ribs! They are divine! Service is at the highest level!

Highly recommended! The Special for Two is definitely worth trying! It's a combination of different appetizers; we order it every time! The terrace has been beautifully renovated, so you can sit outside again. The people at Brass 20 are so incredibly friendly and hospitable that we go there almost every week. They're very accommodating to allergies, and if necessary, they'll come up with an alternative instead of omitting an ingredient.

We've been coming here for years! It's always delicious, and the service is always great!

We had a wonderful meal here, with a nice menu and generous portions. The appetizers were delicious and generous. The meat was perfectly prepared: the rack of lamb was excellent, the tournedos was excellent, and the bavette was excellent—all very well prepared. The chef came by to ask if everything was alright. A personal touch is always nice. The desserts were excellent, and the Crêpe Suzette is highly recommended. Even though it was quiet, with only a few tables occupied, the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

Marie is such a lovely waitress with so much hospitality. She gave us such good suggestions and even gave us a custom sharing platter. The food was absolutely superb, especially the Iberico sweet meat. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend.

The meat was so tasty. Great served. The lady knew exactly what I was going to order and whether I knew what kind of meat I had ordered. I like that.

By far the nicest restaurant I have eaten at in recent years. Casual atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. A must for anyone who loves good food.

Atmosphere and ambiance is nice, with open kitchen, nice bar and enthusiastic/friendly service. Received a sandwich with tapenade/aioli in advance without paying an absurd price (this is often the case in restaurants these days, so I think it's nice that they do that). Menu online did not match the menu in the restaurant. Especially a lot of meat as a main course. Too bad there were limited choices for fish/vegetarian. Dishes were served very nicely. The tuna as a starter; well grilled and good size and lots of seaweed/topping. Main course the salmon; was overcooked. I wish it could have been pink on the inside. All “specials” would come with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. It just doesn't say on the menu that this is different for salmon. Replacing the zucchini (due to allergies) was no problem. We received delicious crispy fries at no extra charge, even though they are on the menu as a side dish. Dessert: crepe suzette. Since the description says “crêpe”, I expected a freshly baked pancake. However, it was more of a wrap, which was a shame. The dish was okay, but wouldn't order it again. Fortunately enough sauce, which was tasty, otherwise the wrap was a bit tough. Atmosphere and service very good and spontaneous, good portion sizes (not scanty) and okay food. I would like to give 3.5 stars (a 7) for the food, but that's not possible :)

Such a shame that bad reviews have been written, apparently out of revenge, because that is very unjustified! We ate here for the second time last weekend and received a very warm welcome both times, the food was very tasty and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Very hospitable and they do everything they can to give you a wonderful evening, which works very well. We will definitely come back

Owner is very unfriendly. We were eating here in the afternoon on the terrace and the owner came out and spoke to us in an aggressive tone instead of calmly explaining that he did not want this, called us stupid and kept repeating this after we noticed that we had told him this separately. found. I was then pushed off the terrace by this man with a delivery bike (!!!). He refused to discuss his comments and kept gesticulating angrily and addressing us derogatorily, even when we had already left the terrace. Very bad experience.

I've been here twice. They opened the table with some bread and pesto and mayo—a simple but nice touch. The mixed starter is great too. The quality of the meat is great too. Service is great too. Apparently, it's the owner who cooks everything and a lady who is serving the tables. Both are nice people. Certainly will come back more often. They could offer a selection of cocktails.

Afgelopen weekend waren we bij Brass 20, vanwege vakantie een rustige avond. Echt heerlijk gegeten, goede service!

Brass 20 is het pareltje van Bussum! Heerlijk stabiel eten, elke keer weer in een ontspannen sfeer met top bediening die oog heeft voor detail en je thuis doet komen.

Ik moet eerlijk zeggen, dit had ik niet verwacht, wat een leuk restaurant en wat een heerlijk eten. Personeel super vriendelijk, hier komen wij zeker terug. TOP.

Afgelopen vrijdag heel goed gegeten samen! Het combi-voorgerecht is erg leuk en lekker, als je goed kan delen 😁 Alles was heel best in orde, enige (persoonlijke voorkeur) wat ik had, was dat de muziek misschien iets luid was. We zijn erg goed verzorgd! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Super gezellig personeel en het eten was geweldig.
