Very cute cozy place! Service was great and the food even better. Totally recommend it!

El desayuno del hotel que cuesta unos pocos euros extra nos envió a buscar alternativas. www Encontramos Joffers y luego fuimos dos veces más durante nuestra corta estancia. El día que fuimos a otro lugar fue un error! Delicioso café y una pequeña selección de comida bien cocinada.

Had lunch, was disappointing. Small portions. Over priced. For €18 salmon and toast, very small quantity.

The food is just "ok". The service is very bad. The server was just literally looked into my eyes and just ran past me :) The restaurant was half full, but still, the servers didn't like to serve us for some reason.

La experiencia en Brasserie de Joffers hoy fue bastante mediocre. Las mesas están muy cerca, y el personal se olvidó de pasar nuestra orden de almuerzo. Tuvimos que preguntar cuatro veces dónde estaba nuestra comida. Después de una larga espera, nuestra comida finalmente llegó, 45 minutos después. La taza de café de cortesía se sentía como demasiado poco, demasiado tarde, ya que teníamos que irnos para entonces. Es una pena porque un servicio atento realmente puede marcar la diferencia, incluso cuando las cosas salen mal.

Cozy, although we came in just before closing time so we felt a bit of a clean-up vibe. Bitterballen and beer were fine 👍🏻

A very relaxed atmosphere to drink a good mulled wine

Nice cozy place for having coffee/drink and something small to eat. Cannot say much about the food as we only had toasts which were very tasty (although they charge an extra 1€ or 1.50€ for cherry tomatoes….). Overall a nice spot with a local feel to it.

Good quality in a cozy casual atmosphere

Nice spot for a drink and small bite to eat. The service is a bit slow and the wait staff seemed a bit confused (kept bringing food from the kitchen and not knowing where to take it) but if you are not in a rush it is fine. The food was really great - a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The home made ice tea was very sweet so I wouldn’t have it again. Overall a great place and I would come back.

Not my choice, I don't like the gaudy South, but pleasantly surprised. Delicious carpaccio with truly delicious bread. Service is very friendly and fast. We sat outside and there you were very close to each other. Little space. All in all not a bad experience.

Top tent with ditto staff and food. Cozy and good. Excellent coffee with oat milk. Personally, I love the pomadore soup. Something more vegan, salad or something would be modern. But don't tell anyone else because there is now often a spot available

Good food and pleasant outdoor terrace in a quiet area between the museums and the park.

Friendly but slow service. It was very busy. The Salade Nicoise with tuna is a good choice.

Small and dense tables outside. Prices on average high as for many places in Amsterdam. I ate a decent Cesar salad.

Came for a tea and a cake. Chocolate mousse cake: good texture, nice chocolate base crust and dee taste Lemon tart: merengue ia a bit dry, but sweetness is well-balanced. Sat inside on Sunday evening - cool and calm inside

I went for breakfast early this morning and the restaurant was still fairly quiet. I ordered Hollands ontbijt and a mocha, which was my first meal since visiting the city. It was delicious. I took my time to finish and by the time I left, the place was nearly packed with patrons. I enjoyed the atmosphere and meal, and I certainly recommend it.

A place to NEVER get back. As a certain customer arrived - no reservation sign on the table, the attendants started asking me to move to another table, every 2 minutes, with PLENTY of tables available, as the pictures show. I ordered the bill and left after so much embarrassment. I was almost finishing, and it would not take 5 minutes, so they could have waited a little bit. AND they could have avoided the embarrassing situation and this horrible review.

I have been coming here for years. If you can find a seat, it’s the best place for breakfast or lunch. Great coffee and lovely upscale atmosphere.

It's a small cafe with a great breakfast. It is a busy place, there may not be enough seats for everyone.

The best pancakes I have ever had, cooked to perfection. One of the members in our group also requested an item that was part of the lunch menu and the restaurant still served it despite it being breakfast time. Excellent service.

Joffers is still going strong!! Nice staff, service, guests and atmosphere. Forget the rest of this straat except Good Food for You!

Warm and cosy atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Had a great time! Did not eat food but the menu looked good. Plan to go for breakfast as the choice is varied. Also the other options looked attractive.

Altijd een genot om vanuit Spanje bij een bezoek aan Adam mijn ontbijtje hier te pakken. Vriendelijke bediening, vooral de oudgedienden.

Great place for lunch in a jumping neighborhood. Very varied menu. Excellent wait persons. Reasonably priced. Within easy walking distance from the Hilton. Definitely a five star rating!

Qualität war super und hat geschmeckt aber nichts dazu bestellen, a kleines Glas Orangensaft kostet 4,50€ und ein weiteres Crossaint nochmal 4,50€. Preise wurden beim bestellen aber nicht erwähnt.

Beetje jammer. Dit is zo'n tent waar voetbalvrouwen met armoeiige spijkerbroeken met enorme schueren elkaar treffen of waar hun omhooggevallen echtgenoten op iets te luide toon praten over trainingsprogramma's. Voetbal sjmoetbal, denk ik dan. En dat terwijl de ene na de andere SUV uit het meest kostbare segment voorbij stuurt. Ik weet het niet ... typisch Zuid? Er waren andere tijden.

Very easy going staff, friendly atmosphere and a nice place to spend a couple of hours chatting and drinking.

Kind, fast service even on a busy day. Food is good, mostly variant and thought through portions, although the flavor lacks for me. Great spots to sit outside in the sun. Maybe a bit posh yet cosy. Ordered the special Sate, fries and salad. Fries, salad are crispy and flavorful, sate sauce and sate are disappointing. Will come back to try other dishes mostly because of the service and location.

Prima ontbijt, veel keuze en erg lekker!

Wir waren das erste Mal in der Brasserie De Joffers und sind über das gute Frühstück sehr überrascht. Das kleine Frühstück (9,50 EUR) beinhaltet ein super leckeres warmes Croissant, Butter, Erdbeer-Jam, ein kleines Stück Gewürz-Kuchen und ein Getränk nach Wahl… Dazu gehört ein Kaffee (bspw. ein Cappuccino) oder zum Beispiel ein Orangensaft (der Orangensaft ist selbst gepresst!). Dazu kommt der sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Service. Immer mit einem Lächeln und einem netten Wort. Ebenso befindet sich das Café in einem angenehmen und ruhigen Stadtviertel und ist mit der Straßenbahn-Linie 2 schnell zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fresh squeezed juice, good coffee and friendly welcoming staff. V. Nice food as well, I had fried eggs with melted cheese and tomato, which came with a good sweet onion garnish. The pancakes my wife ordered were great as well.

The place is cozy and the waiters are so attentif and kind! the 12-uurtje croquette, home made juices and tarts were very nice, well done!

Heerlijk lunchen, altijd zeer welkom ontvangen. We komen er een aantal keren per jaar en altijd gezellig druk, super personeel die oprecht in je geinteresseerd zijn. Daarbij een heerlijke fles rose (Fleur) die ze daar schenken en het weekend Amsterdam kan niet meer stuk.

Zufällig auf die Brasserie gekommen, war sehr voll aber die freundliche Bedienung hatte alles sehr schnel serviert - und alles war sehr schmeckhaft.

Väldigt trevligt och ger en känsla av äkta Amsterdam. En bit från turistfällor. God mat men kanske inte den bästa servicen, tog ett tag att få dricka och mat trots många anställda och bara halvfullt. Trevlig inredning och uteserving. Skulle lätt kunna gå hit igen.
